That's quite impressive adding full voice acting in as a patch. Have had this on my wishlist for ages, will probably check it out next time it's on sale.
More please! Loved watching videos when it first came out, but none of the people I follow actually finished the game. Would be great to see a full playthrough!
I'm nine minutes into the video and that twist is visible from freaking orbit. "My name is O..wl". XD Transformed himself into an owl to escape the loan sharks, that's hell of an uncle. :P
I was completely all-in on Saffron for my first playthrough, but now that multiple romances are an option, I’m gonna satiate my curiosity and see what the other ones are like now too xD
i personaly liked minmaxing for the strongest possible potions. the new Voiceacting turned out amazing it makes all the dialoge way more enjoyable. The dating sim part was kinda weird sometimes (you know when you just want to be nice and suddenly your flirting).
this looks, sounds and plays like a dream! just a minor gripe with the hand animated mouth, on their own it's good, but it doesn't follow the pace of the voice-acting sometimes.
That's exactly what RBC tried to do to me when my mom died completely ruined my credit for not taking on her loans aaaand denied me access to her estate and stole everything in her accounts besides.
The big issue with the original Potionomics was the amount of loading screens. And I had a top of the line PC when I played it. But I didn't notice frustratingly waiting for loading screens to finish in this video, so it seems they might have fixed that. And yeah, if I ever replay this I'm playing in cozy. Travel taking a time slot also annoyed me last time lol
@@Queenofthesevenseas Excellent question, I honestly couldn’t say. I’ve got it on PS5 and it’s been working mostly great, so I imagine the Switch version would hold up pretty well at least. My only issue so far on PS5 is that occasionally the cursor will get lost during the deck editing screen, forcing me to reload to the last save. Weird bug, kinda frustrating, but overall not too bad if you save frequently. Beyond that it’s been flawless for me.
Some other games you might want to try if you like the whole Alchemy stuff, You have games like the Atelier Iris (and other variants) series. I got started with the PS2 ones they brought over which I think there were 3 games? Mana Khemia 1 & 2 were neat also, with the fast that 2 has older versions of characters from the first game. A lot of them have the whole RPG world traveling aspect and battles, with various maps to explore. For most of the games I imagine, depending on the time of day (including Dusk & Dawn) different materials may spawn if you load into an area. Music for em is usually nice, though I haven't done as many of the 3D versions of the games yet.
It is, all 3 major consoles! I’m playing the PS5 version myself. Loved it on Steam back when it was new, but PS5 is my main platform and I want that platinum :D
I like the new voice acting. I think they fit well. But I did expect Quinn to have more goblin-like energy. I get being tired is one of their things, but so is being a bit evil and mischievous.
I liked your recent videos about Aurora Defense and Seer's Gambit. Could you also review other new roguelike battlers/tactics games? Skill Legends, Valefor-what else is out there? Thank you!
gonna be honest, i think adding a male protagonist choice would probably add alot of interest for people, specially since the game have romance, its kinda funny, by adding romance choice, but locking it with a female main character, it feels like the old days of rune factory/harvest moon, where the main character was male due to physical limitations of the cartridge.
@@dragledge739 dont get me wrong, i have no issue with games where you play as a guy or as a girl only. but if its a game like this, that has romanceable choices and its mostly a life sim it should have customizable characters. the same way i feel like games like slime rancher or subnautica dont really have a good reason fro not offering that customization. since the character itself doesnt really add anything to the game.
it can sometimes work, but not always, and it can 100% date the game. which is terrible years after its released. many games do feel far older than they should because of writting trying to be "hip".
My potion are too strong for you adventurer
What is that reference from?
Nay, potion seller. Give me your strongest potions
the animations were already really crisp before, but this voice acting ties everything together even better!
Yup!
The characters are sooooo lovable. Good work, both writers and voice actors! Even the models, to be honest!
I'd enjoy watching a playthrough of this
Me too!

"Hello, Potion Seller, I am going into battle and I want your strongest potions."
Finally! An endless mode! I had always hoped. Adding to my next play list after Factorio 2.0
This looks really great, has good voice acting... I was almost sold on it until it turned out to be another deck-builder ^^°
oh neat, it's nice for this game to have VA. It's MUCH better with voice act.
More please!
Loved watching videos when it first came out, but none of the people I follow actually finished the game.

Yeah, me too!
love this game. the character voices certainly match how I heard them in my head.
I like that this is like moonlighter but with deckbuilding
I cant wait for the sequel. I hope you will continue this game.
Been a fan of this game since DAY ONE! Extremely happy it’s getting the recognition it deserves 🗣️❗️🔥🔥🔥
Would love to see more gameplay of this, It's so much fun!
That owl is 100% her “dead” uncle.

I really hope you play this game again! I am loving it!!!
I couldnt select multiple romances. Roxanne has me totally captivated with a fiery attitude

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy theres an endless mode OMG I love that game, its such an amazing game
Sold. Anything with full voice acting and good voice acting is an easy buy.
its not FULL voice acting, but voice acting for dialogs.
recettear was the original in this genre that I know of, if anyone is curious. Without the dating aspect.
Except you'd actually have to play as the adventurers diving into the dungeons
Capitalism ho!
I did not know this was a thing! Awesome!
Muktuk out here dishing life advice for us all. Pump yourselves up
Wait this is a new update?! It dropped within 2 days ?! O.M.G. YAY!!!
love the expressions in this game =)

I thought this game died, happy to know that it didn't!
I wouldn't say it "died" so much as "released comfortably, did a couple QOL patches and then moved on" ^^
@@Kimtroverted Exactly. This isn’t a live service title that needs to be played for years to be deemed a success.
Mehr davon. Ich mochte das Spiel.
Sadly no voice acting during the haggling.
Typical lawyer move... Especially the magic kind. 5:50
it pissed me off immediately she basically said its a enslavement entrapment rule 😂
man i was hopeing the little shop sequences have some voices, even gibberish. but the quality we have are great
3:36 by impressive u mean that the property didn't crumble on itself then yea it's very impressive. Lmfao
Love your content! All the best!😁

Thanks I appreciate the response
Any ideas if the switch version is worth the price

@@Queenofthesevenseas A game like this seems to be right up Switch’s alley. Not too graphically demanding and having that stylised animated aesthetic.

My thoughts as well. I just ordered the physical switch version of the game, I’m looking forward to exploring and making potions

You are NOT responsible for your families debt even if you accept their inheritance (atleast in the US).

Yeah, casual mode is a little too easy. Needs to have toggles for some of the stuff so you can use it at other difficulty levels...
Full Voice Acting? Only some of character interactions have voice acting.
kinda sad that the cards have no voice lines
i neeeeeed mooooore sub
Was hoping Muktuk would sound more like Randy Savage
I really hate the "Your uncle/parent/dog died and now you are on the hook for their $$$ debt" trope.
I feel like Quinn should sound a lot more nasal and apathetic than this
The over the top facial expressions are kind of annoying. But that's just my opinion. Everything else seems great to me
