  • Join Kevin and I on a classic coastal hike along the Berwickshire Coastal Path. We set off from Cockburnspath, with a wild camp on the cliffs of St Abb's Head. The second day sees us head further south to the most northernly town in England, Berwick upon Tweed where the hike ends.

Nice one - and great to see the terrible two back together! Quite a snug camp site too - close enough to hear every change in the breathing... Next time you're in Eyemouth, visit the Fleet pub, which is really friendly and gets filled with really funny older folk in the afternoons; and in Berwick, the pub just down from the town gate does amazing home made food! But I just got the MSR Elixir 2 and just used it in the lakes on a wild camp and absolutely loved it stacks of room love the 2 doors each side with large vestibule I kept my Bergen one side in the vestibule and the other side for cooking. Loads of room to sit up and absolutely love the shelf’s above the head to store my spectacles and and the big pockets head and foot end it also csn have a washing line put in and can sit up with loads of space. Prior to this I only over slept under military ponchos whilst in the marines so for me these 2 tents feel like I’m 5 star camping mate I feel spoilt now but it’s well deserved I’ve done my dues under ponchos in all weather but not anymore that’s for the nods! 😂

@@WalkWithWallace - I was roadieing for a band who were playing there on a Bank holiday weekend. I was promised my own room, so a lass I knew drove me up. When we got there, I found out we had to sleep in the group van, so she drove back home lol.
