Yea that’s what I’m wondering because now I’m catching onto whether or not this is a travel back for a free place to stay versus getting paid to care for people’s homes 🥴
If the cat food is outside that tells me the cats are outdoor cats. I would be very nervous accepting a house sit with an outdoor cat. I just couldn't do it because I would worry that the cat would not return. When I sit for dogs I don't just let them out in the yard. I have to be with the pets I sit for when they're outside. I just pulled two golden retrievers away from a hissing snake that the dogs were curious about in the yard (and I'm terrified of snakes but I just had to suck it up to get the dogs away from the snake). Had I not been with them, it could've turned out very bad.

Is that rule actually enforced? Please tell me as soon as possible because I’m desperate to move forward.
