I think most of the people saying that the Dark Knight should have won haven't even seen Slumdog Millionaire. The Dark Knight is my favourite movie of all time but Slumdog deserved to win that.

Rewatched Slumdog again last night after seeing the film ten years ago..Remarkable in every imaginable way. Perhaps one of the most perfect films ever made..The pathetic Rotten Tomatoes only scored a 91..At least a 100 and maybe a 191 !!! Glorious and magnificent.
It was very good but not a masterpiece to my eyes, the movie is hella overrated. 100% you say? No freaking way. This is no Richard linklater movie or Wes Anderson flick, the film isn't that worthy to match the creative art that are Anderson's and Linklater's films

I thought it was pretty common knowledge that the letterman appearance was a prank. I saw it online the day after it came out and my friend said “ya, him and ben afflecks brother are making a mockumentary and messin’ with the media” So ya, first time this ive seen this oscars stunt, and find it quite entertaining.

Robert Lugo Slumdog was a sappy and manipulative mess. Danny Boyle clearly tried to replicate what Fernando Meirelles did in City of God, just he failed miserably. The Dark Knight has very good cinematography. In fact the bluish background signifying approaching darkness was very beautifully beautifully portrayed. Benjamin Button (despite its pretentious and nonsensical plot) also had brilliant cinematography though.

Joseph Miller The cinematography was gorgeous in The Dark Knight, though. I mean, so was Slumdog's from what I've seen, I adore Dod Mantle's work but still, it's an opinion. Don't be so pretentious.
Robert Lugo Slumdog was a sappy and manipulative mess. Danny Boyle clearly tried to replicate what Fernando Meirelles did in City of God, just he failed miserably. The Dark Knight has very good cinematography. In fact the bluish background signifying approaching darkness was very beautifully beautifully portrayed. Benjamin Button (despite its pretentious and nonsensical plot) also had brilliant cinematography though.
Nameless Paladin Well, we're referring exclusively to cinematography, yes? I think Slumdog's cinematography looks pretty good, in my opinion, despite aping the style of City of God. I think it does that part well, from the footage I've seen. Take note, I haven't seen the full film. About Benjamin Button? Haven't seen that either but of course the cinematography there was great, it's Claudio Miranda.
