Great practice tips Joe! I like the lights off one, I’m a fan of challenging the brain. One thing I do similarly is change where I’m standing around the track for a different perspective of the layout.
Oh man!!! That was one of my tips that I skipped. I really need to write this stuff down before I shoot lol. Standing in different places around the track absolutely helps. Thanks for sharing Bryce. Much appreciated 😁
No light practice? Thats some Mr Miyagi stuff right there 😂 Grate advice and very unique video. You are very good on finding themes that have not been explored enough on RUclips, this is what I like the most with your content. Keep up the good work.
Thanks man! In my part 2 video I explain how to race with one foot in the air while catching flies with open chassis 🤣🤣 Thanks for the kind words. You win the unique award for your outstanding approach to scenery. 💯 To you good sir as well!
These are great ideas. One of my favorite things to do is race a no magnet car against a magnet ghost car. It really forces you to concentrate as if you were racing a more adept opponent.
Yes racing no mags against a ghost car with mags is the way to go. Makes it more competitive. Also if I’m racing with mags I still have to come in for fuel and if I spin off/crash I give myself a penalty. Kinda like you have to go in the pits to repair damage. That’s what’s great in slot car racing and the smart race app so many different ways to race to your liking. 🏁
Thank you for these interesting suggestions! I particularly like your idea of racing with the lights off! My 4 year old grandson loves to tell Alexa to turn off the lights in the room anyway, so I'd better get some practice this way!
Great stuff Joe 👏. I love to race in a totally dark room with just the car lights ....but analog ....so the lights only work when you push the trigger . You really get to know you braking and acceleration points that way in analog 🤗 nice to see a new post from you mate 👍
All great ideas but what if you had your tape when you applied the brakes and marked off the distance travelled. Then add flags to the track for breaking points. Don’t tell anyone and it’s your super power when racing 🏁🏆 Unless they read my comment 😂

Load track with running cars. Bump a car from behind, follow it then remove. Bump all time.

24 hours? 24 minutes is plenty!
