He truly sang it from the soul for a Rapper he sounded pretty good. His words came out as if he was rappin' over all he sounded good compared to some in the past.
If he would have been able to Rap the National Anthem he would have killed it.
He used his range, sang on-key and put his soul into it. Way better than I expected, props to the man. And atop that, so much better than some "singers" I've heard.

Ok... that was not on key at all. Sorry. Nowhere near as painful as Fergie's version to the ears but still, he was off-key a lot for someone who makes his living in music.
He was great. I felt it. On key or not. The crowd seemed to feel it too. Kind of Chein Andelusia a tear to my eye.
He talked about how much it meant to him to do this. About how nervous he was. It was on his bucket list. And spoke to his families service in the military and what that meant. Hats off to Flavor Flav. Great job.
