And we have the honour to enjoy with nostalgia this "almost impossible" quality music in a SNES 16 bits game. Only geniuses can make games like this and only geniuses can make a TAS like this.
What is it about this game that makes it genuinely creepy as hell? The music, the sound effects, the backgrounds, and the enemies. Everything about this game creates the most eerie atmosphere. One of my favorite games of all time.
While most of us run from the bats in B-1, this is quite the showing of extermination at work. Also we can see just how deadly triple boomerangs can be here.
27:17 Room of Close Associates. I love how the whole battle against Slogra, Gaibon and Death are synchronized with the tempo and exactly when Death dies (lol) the track comes to an end right before the loop. Magnificent!
Oh man I love track 7! Sometimes I just fire on the Snes pop this game in and go straight to the bgm and listen to the whole thing. Ahh the good times.
I love seeing the competition between the TAS community and the non-TAS community, even though it's more than likely many speedrunners belong to both. No matter who wins, the viewers win for seeing how either group can one-up the other and take ownership of a game.
Such a Legendary game, I always play it on my SNES Classic. I often feel bad because I first played this on the Classic and not before the Classic was ever released, I don’t know how I could’ve let a game like this slip past me.
Bloody Tears, Simons Theme, Vampire Killer, Bloodlines, i think they are the most memorable castlevania music ever. the rest are great, but they are not....sticky? lol
These runners aren't playing Super Castlevania 4 on "Hard" more... Dracula's playing Simon Belmont on "Impossible Nightmare" mode. Seriously, I keep imagining Drac watching UBERSIMON progressing through his castle and just losing his garlic-fearing mind.
I'd say, the musics in games doesn't have the same impact as back in the years. They focus a bit too much on graphics instead of musics an gameplay sadly.
at the end of the day what you himself thing is the only that matters so if he says this game or his music is "bad" its is opinion respectable.....but in my opinion great game and great music n_n
"good difficulty"? NO! "Good" difficulty doesnt exist! Also the soundtrack took alot of steps back from soundtrack of CastleVania on the Sharp 68000 and is regarded as one of the worse soundtracks in CastleVania games.
He cheated. I downloaded the video and my computer said one or more boosters found. If you look at the time he gets his potion to not get touched he doesn't even blink like normal. This video is a fruad. If you want to beat a game the fastest like a man, beat it with NO tas or any kind of boost for that matter. Plus the japenese version of this game was known for its glitchy problems more than the american version hints the reason why he was able to slide threw the floor on the first level passing the dragon statue before going down the stairs.
RobVS you don't even know if the creator of the TAS can beat the game legit. Don't make assumptions. TAS is for people who want games beaten in impossible times and is never counted in legit speedrun leaderboards.
2:43 I CAN'T HANDLE THIS MUCH SWAG
This right here is the best Castlevania game ever created.
gonna throw my opinion into the pile
the original for NES/Famicom and Rondo
Yes only game where you can swing whip in all directions
@@quillsomething9465: only reason?
@@dmas7749 the fact that it's better remake of castlevania 1
@@quillsomething9465: nahhh i like CV1 better
15:08 "We'd like to talk to you about your car's extended warranty..."

It's not health he has, it's little turbo boosts.
YOUVE GOT BOOST POWER
this is the most entertaining tas i have ever seen. well done.

Dick Wallace The avatar you use adds to the creepiness
It's not creepy. It's something else. Which is a sign of a good game.

epic pose
One cross my eyes
for me, it's still the best Castlevania game : Classic Gameplay, badass music, epic bosses, good difficulty -> All you need to do a good game :D
Every jump you made on those chandeliers gave me a mental flashback to that feeling of "Oh shit I'm gonna fall and die"
Best ending and ending music ever!
A spinning room doesn't freak Simon Belmont out, but a spinning Simon Belmont sure freaks out a room.
While most of us run from the bats in B-1, this is quite the showing of extermination at work.

I agree with hell zero...music back then was great stuff in video games and th music industry...now it's jacked up for both worlds.
Love the soundtrack on this game. Only second to C:SotN.
Oh man I love track 7! Sometimes I just fire on the Snes pop this game in and go straight to the bgm and listen to the whole thing. Ahh the good times.

Triforce?
Great job Nitro for encoding this quickly.
Triforce detected?
Still my favorite

the way he swags after grabbing each orb is fuckin great
Rotating room made me chuckle.
Dat stairway moonwalk XD

25 game seconds on the drac kill. Jeez
Damn Mr. Belmont is in a hurry. This is great! The only problem playing through the game this fast is that the amazing music ends too quickly.
Late for dinner lol
It's...so beautiful. Kick ass TAS! =D
The clock tower ascent defies description
I don't know why, but the mummy battle made me laugh a little.
dem 1 second boss fights
wow this run was fun as hell compare to the others, i love when it was messing up the game with the weird whip glitch (stage 4 and A lol)
Excellent playing!
Bloody Tears, Simons Theme, Vampire Killer, Bloodlines, i think they are the most memorable castlevania music ever.
the rest are great, but they are not....sticky? lol
This is sooo cool!!!
Woah.
I don't get it, why isn't this TAS played at the higher difficulty?
I came with the force of a thousand suns
This video needs a good update.
@TheRoomy tell me about it.
I'd say, the musics in games doesn't have the same impact as back in the years.
They focus a bit too much on graphics instead of musics an gameplay sadly.
sweet whip tricks brah
LOL Boomerang triangle!!
2:44 GODDAMIT.
Sick !
9:15 cocaine is one hell of a drug
me myself in progress up to stage 5, or in this video about 12:00. So tired to continue
Dracula disliked this
the 2nd level music is the best soundtrack ever. only after Ori soundtrack of course:)
..... WHAT FORM OF SORCERY IS THIS!!!!!
Dracula the Blurry.
...Actually, Masanori Adachi and Taro Kudo are among the best composers in the serie my friend.
1:20 WTF!? Well damn, I'm not even 1/10th in the video and I know I'm gonna see some crazy shit.
there's really no point in playing it at a higher difficulty
2:43
Bra-fucking-vo
Castlevania parkour.
Nice run, but I still prefer Phil & Genisto's. :)
at the end of the day what you himself thing is the only that matters so if he says this game or his music is "bad" its is opinion respectable.....but in my opinion great game and great music n_n
also, the word is "worst." goddamn
Tool Assisted Speedrun? Meh...
Yes, he is, but this soundtrack is weak
"good difficulty"? NO! "Good" difficulty doesnt exist! Also the soundtrack took alot of steps back from soundtrack of CastleVania on the Sharp 68000 and is regarded as one of the worse soundtracks in CastleVania games.
worse soundtrack...
No, just no
All games after this one uses atleast one song from this game
it can't be the worse soundtrack, it can't.
I always hated this Castlevania game and only this one Castlevania game.

If you have to cheat to beat a game, you are not a gamer, you are a CHEATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ummmm................. do you even know what the point of a TAS is?
Yeah....it is tool assisted speedrun and again, if you need to cheat to beat a game, you are a cheater not a gamer!
BurkeWorld I thought this kind of people only exist here in Brazil ...
