Thank you, i don’t feel the best right now. It feels like I’m in a completely different world than everyone else, so hearing that I’m not alone in this really helps.
Thank you really needed to hear this. Especially when you’re injured (I’m recovering from a torn ACL), the majority of the social interactions & therapeutic comfort that comes from sport essentially ceases overnight. Teammates and coaches forget about you and carry on like you never existed. Your other relationships slowly die back down the moment you’re no longer on crutches and people no longer pity you. You already spent little time socializing before you got injured (to focus on sport), so now that you need it no one cares about you. Social rejection/ostracism stings all the more once you no longer have your sport to fall back on ❤
It comes with the territory. If you don't want the stress and demands from everyone, then get a regular job and no one will bother you. Famous athletes can't have it both ways, with the applause comes the hardships.
Do you have any tips for my coach yelling at me, he yells a lot and it de motivates me and I get stressed to come to practice, do you have any tips to overcome the fear and stress?
Hii Firstly ,listen carefully to whatever he says if it's really helpful then take it as constructive criticism Otherwise ignore him . As an athlete you should also know to how to ignore other people's Talks , criticism , bad behaviour, etc The moment you start getting detached from other people's opinion, bad behaviour, etc you will definitely gain a lot of confidence As an athlete iam also learning that and it really helps.
I think in that loneliness talking with god is the best solution it’s helped me a lot
