Exactly! When I'm at a gig, I'm like a totally different person, jumping about and off stages and moshing, but I'll never look to hurt anyone. And if someone falls down, you pick them up sharpish. I've not been to bad gigs like that, the only time stuff like this was happening was the gig I mentioned, and it stopped. I managed to give Lee of TT a leg-up to surf on the crowd behind me when he was in the crowd, was so cool, haha.
fully agree with that sentiment, been watching hardcore bands for almost 6 years and had 3 injuries, one a complete accident at a terror show, the other two during brutality shows, had half my tooth knocked out and i wasnt even near the pit. so annoying that this is what the uk scene is turning into.
I don't even think it's the scene, or anything like nationwide, just a few bands, specifically this one. I like them musically. I work in a music venue about this size and recently saw BWP support The Acacia Strain. During BWP there were 3 full fights, and nobody wanted to mosh because of kids deliberately kicking people. After them, loads of people left and the crowd for TAS was great, no violence at all, just straight tight mosh.
@MrRuinator No mate it wasn't the only thing I took away from it haha, don't flatter yourself. This was my favourite set, thats why I watched it all again.
Whoever the dude is wearing the "Keep calm and finish him" shirt, you should probably refrain from wearing that ever again if you know what I'm saying.
i get where your coming from but crowd killing(mindless violence) is a big part of hardcore and i think we intend to keep it that way, we dont do it out of hate or nothing personal it just makes everything much much rowdy and the bands do it and love it,so why not
Everyone in these comments cares too much about appearances & toughguy bullshit. Just enjoy the music, move how you want to move & stop judging everyone else.
Damn right it isn't moshing it's hardcore dancing. The moshing you're thinking about is basically a push pit, this is the shit that happens at hardcore shows.
Yeah there's assigned areas to 'just watch'. Sorry but i didn't pay money to go to a show and just watch. If I wanted to just watch i'd do this and watch youtube videos.
Nah man, they play the Underworld, Leeds and Sheffield after that. Also, I thought this fight thing happened in Yeovil? And from my experience, they're nice guys. Idk.
@wra7h Also, you watched this whole video, and the only thing you took away from it is my lack of rhythm? Don't you feel like you wasted your time a bit?
The kid at front for the first bit of the video was stretching and acting like he was going to do some hardcore throwdown and moshing but i never saw him again :|
It really blows to read that, you're friend shouldn't be discouraged from going to shows though, even if it's just going to the metal shows. But there is a lot of macho bullshit in hardcore... It's exactly how Macho Insecurity by Dead Kennedys goes. Btw, I'm jealous you've seen Suffocation and The Berzerker.
Well way to spot the one jokingly racist comment among the multi comment argument i had against a skinhead hawkeye. Got some keen observation skills there.
Well if you're in the thick of it chances are you're gonna get hit multiple times. Why get mad at someone doing it on purpose. Also, let it be known I don't agree with what that kid in the black tank was doing. I'm not cool with crowd killers that do straight punches at peoples faces. I'm talking about the ones that throw wild random hands and kicks while going down the edge of the pit. There's a difference between guys that seem to make crowd killing personal and those that don't.
I like the way the video is shot, good angles and a nice overview, not just one side. The sound is also good.. Awesome video, awesome band!
Anyone clocking the new BWP singer jumping in at 15:29? Any idea what happened with the singer switch over?
louis from bxp at 15.16... sooooo good!

I literally remembered the song 5 mins after I posted the comment haha. It's a riff out of Body Count - "There Goes The Neighborhood". Thanks anyway.
