You get a big thumbs up for telling the truth and if they dont adjust the product then why bother with them... Winners make there products better. Losers think they got it right and just do not have a clue...

So I just bought this set. I been doing A/C and refrigeration for 11 years. Always used analogs and calculated subcool and superheat using temp clamps and using math the guys at my place of work like all the digital stuff until I was intrigued with wireless field pieces. I don’t want to pay $600 + for a setup so I saw these. Good review makes me feel better. I’m not too worried about the brass fittings leaking I can rig stuff up if needed. It’s amazing how technology came a long way . Thanks for the review

I've owned these 2-3 years and replaced the adapter with short hoses works incredible. Elitech released an update for the app

Great honest review. I've seen in other reviews that you really have to tighten them down to avoid leaks - so you have confirmed this. I also like the displays - just wish the temp gauges also had small displays - that would be even better.
As for the App, there may be an option in their Settings part that indicates the actions/connectivity of the probes when you turn off the probes. Something like always remember gauges drop when turned off. Something like that.

These work great! Had them for 2 years now and never had an issue or leak. You need to use thread tape for the gauge threads and then add or use any fittings. But yes the fitting with curve does not work at all. Had same issue with that one.

I have an amazing product that can fix a ton of the issues you were having. Now this product is very new so I may be mispronouncing it but I think its called "Tephlan Tapè." It should be by the burn remover and your van's blinker fluid.

@@ReliableHVACR I figured you were smart enough for it but I was just making a joke. I haven't run into the issues you had but the biggest issue I found it the weight of the gages themselves and the amount of fittings you need can all contribute to leaks. I overall like them for quick pressure readings but past that, I would use normal manifolds with small length hoses. I also work with equipment that can have a negative suction pressure so if I add my gauges as is, I can add air to the system.

  • @travisb9130

Just purchased these, going to give them a shot. I have the Testo set and I cannot stand that you have to use your phone for everything. It's nice if you're going to be at one place for a while and can track everything on the phone and also get a data log to save for later but if you're just doing PM's and need to check a bunch of systems it's clunky at best. I usually keep just stubby individual gauges in my bag but then it's a pain getting the pipe temperature. I wish somebody would make a pipe clamp with a digital readout instead of the k-type clamp or full Wireless. That would be nice. Got the $17 Leak Detectors with my order as well so going to give them a try. Those might be nice to use on some of the bigger leaks that are easy to find before breaking out the H-10.

Should have put that money into the 6 piece FP JOB LINK set with air probes, when combined with the Measure Quick APP it will actually take the info from all probes and give you a diagnosis while giving you system performance data and tell you what your most likely issues are with the system! Pricey YES, but they give you every piece of info you need down to RH DB WB enthalpy and actual system capacity.

I can only do one at a time
If i add the second gages it is just switches to the other gage
    Never both together
Any idea because your display both at the same time

The cheap version of appions ion gauges. I’ve been using mine(Appion) for over 4 years, they still work fine and the app still works even though they are discontinued. Idk if you ever saw the commercial appion made for these but they were ment to be abused. I’ve been seeing more of these Elitech stuff and honestly I’m not impressed something straight out of toys R us. We’ll see if this company is still around in couple years.

All the app stuff is so silly to me. It's nice for getting additional info and whatnot as an option. But relying 100% on your phone is so annoying. 100° out and I am doing the connection dance and squinting at my phone. Just show me the goddamn numbers. I just need the numbers. Long story short these look slick af.
