The Bee Gees Country Lanes Reaction Reaction starts at 01:56 1. Meh this one isn't really my thing 2. the flow of the song is really smooth. I really like it. Gradual introduction of the strings is very tasteful 3. I envision this song used at the very end of a movie. I think it'd be perfect for that
If you do another Fleetwood Mac somg, please do “Gypsy”. That’s an essential song of theirs with Stevie Nicks on vocals, and has a really great sound. Studio version, please : ruclips.net/video/cjn0i_D5lWE/видео.html
Robin Gibb, a true legend. Edge of the Universe another gem from that magnificent -Main Course Album, the synthesizer work by Blue Weaver is out of this world, considering it was done in 1975.
@@jaybrielakoi7747 He could belt pretty good right up until he became ill but he only belted when it was called for unlike some less restrained singers who would belt out Ave Maria if given the opportunity.
So beautiful 😚 Robin's vocals bring me to tears, gives me chills listening 🎶 ❤ 💖 to that one of a kind gourgous (thereal vibrato) voice...best in the world..
Been ages since I heard this...amazing Robin lead vocal performance....great lyrics and tune too. Sort of song you could put on a loop and spend the afternoon listening to. Bee Gees really came of age with the Main Course album. I like this.
I remember when the Main Course album came out. It had the three enormous hits on it but this was the song I kept listening to over and over. A pretty waltz. Love it so much. Robin’s voice is so beautiful.
Thank you for reacting to this song. Maybe my favorite song with Robin on lead, it is however in great competition with Love Me and I Am The World (The old version). This song is Robin at his best, his voice were just made for this song.
the main course album is a popular one. I feel like I'm constantly hearing about that one. All this love making is good. If I can remmeber correctly off the top of my head I don't think I liked jive talkin.
Thanks for doing this one! It's one of my favorites, but I prefer their melodic tunes over their disco. The strings on this are phenomenal, and I agree they should have used them more.
The usual criticism is that they overused strings. The classic Bee Gee parody "Meaningless Songs in Very High Voices" ( and you're someone if there's a classic parody of you) makes a joke of something like "700 violins". They toured with a full orchestra upon occasion.
Mr. Natural, Another Lonely Night in New York, Road to Alaska, Saw a New Morning, Saved by the Bell, How to Fall in Love., Haunted House, Edge of the Universe.
Swimming in all kind of waters, that's what they did. Even saw your reaction to "Boogie Chield". Their musical range was wide and open. Never, they thougt about genres. Did what they wanted to. Best examples are: "Paper Mache Cabbages And Kings", "Every Christian Lion Hearted Man Will Show You", "The Change Is Made", "Road To Alaska" or "Sweet Song Of Summer", where Maurice, who was able to play every instrument except Drums and Brass, can be heard on Moog Synthesizer in a very catchy and rough style.
@@jaybrielakoi7747 Maybe you're right and maybe you're wrong. It's the artist himself, who decides what to do. They always were highly interested in different styles of music. For excample, the Stones never did that and it's allright. As being brothers, the Bee Gees had because of their very different voices, much more abilities, to ride on the next reachable wave and the higher, the better.
Please react to IT DOESN'T MATTER MUCH TO ME By the Beegees....it has a country sound to some of the song and the falsetto in this song is sung by Robin....the Beegees in an interview they did talked about how they liked country music.
"Country Lanes" was more in the style of their previous album Mr. Natural rather than the funk/disco of their next album Children Of The World or even that of side one on Main Course.
Please do reactions to three luscious Carpenters songs “Happy”, “Caught Between Goodbye and I Love You”, and the **full version** of “Let Me Be the One” which is this video: ruclips.net/video/xBtVUSIcAjM/видео.html

This is how Robin used to belt ‘em out!
Ya seems stronger. He didn’t do it near the end of his life but I am just happy we got more from him in the end.

It wasn’t my favorite but I’m still a fan of them.

I’ve grown more fond of robins voice lately.
Thank you! I do love this song. Its beautiful, typical Robin. So nice to see you cover so much of their catalogue.

I could listen to that wave of strings all day.

I like your idea of it being a great end to a movie!

And trying different genres is risky in my mind.

Doing it.

How about Don't Fall in Love with Me from Living Eyes? Slightly obscure ballad with a similar build up between Robin and Maurice.
Oh I love that! The whole album, wow. Takes me back to summer eves when I was 16 and having crushes on boys, lol.
"Country Lanes" was more in the style of their previous album Mr. Natural rather than the funk/disco of their next album Children Of The World or even that of side one on Main Course.
sin instrumentos, sólo su voz es igualmente maravillosa. Robin Is heavenly. No comparto tus críticas.
First comment... 0lease react Barry gibb "star crossed lovers"
You also did Fanny from Main Course.
Good song that could be in "To whom it may concern". For me the less powerfull track from "Main course".
please react Paper machè cabbages and kings , Robin's voice in a state of grace

It's a good song, I just don't feel like listening to it. Maybe someday I'll feel different about it. It happens.
You says NOTHING ABOUT ROBIN'S VOICE??
Maybe I might like and maybe not
