Nice work. Mount Victoria is another grand building from another age.

A lot of the station buildings out that way are well preserved, we called in at Blayney on the way and it was very well kept as well.

That looks a nice old station. The new footbridge looks a bit out of keeping, but it's nice that they've kept the old signage

Sure is, though rather chilly if you're doing an evening session. A warm jacket is a necessity there!

Was the pub open at Mount Victoria? It was closed for a few years, and nice to see Chris Parr's garden looking great, nice collection, you had some competition on the other side I see when Karen walked out the office...

Didn't actually check the pub there, we got to the cabins we were staying in around 6pm and just got a couple of frozen meals to have there. The station garden is certainly doing well!
The competition there is actually my travelling partner on the trip, my mate Chris (cmeonthemove) who was out from the UK for Streamliners 2022, joined me on the road trip and had a blast!

@@Greensleeves94 SM at Mount Victoria in his days at Woodford won many SRA garden competitions, Chris normally does the day work. Was there anyone in Mount Victoria box? It is switched out and now on ATRICS (run from Sydney) but usually someone manning the box until ATRICS "settles in " so to speak.

5:16, is that a guard? does nsw still have guards? do all nsw suburban trains still have guards?

Yep, issues with NSW Trainlink trying to remove guards is apparently one reason for the delayed introduction of the NIF sets.

@@Greensleeves94 , i think it was decades ago that melbourne got rid of them. i never knew of them in perth though they had connies (conductors). on the old suburban trains before electrification.
