I’m so glad you got better from the corona Virus! That sounds awful and scary. You are really one of the lucky people who survived. I’m sad that people are losing family members, close friends, cousins, brothers, sisters, moms, dads and more! It is so sad to lose people like these, I am so happy for you! Really Texas has a lot of corona virus (people who have it) my mama is telling me that they don’t care! It sounds scary and awful! Again I am so happy for you! I keep repeating sorry!😅 I hope more and more people will be staying home, wear masks, I don’t want this world empty, and I really hope that they find a curse soon!
@@tinkletink1403 why would you want to guess when he passed away? I think it's rude to say something like that when I'm going through the worst moment of my life.
I’m not gonna lie. Before I got COVID I took it as a joke. But now that I have It, I wish I took it more seriously. When I get better I’m making some serious changes! Good to know people are recovering from this thing.
My Aunt, 87 yrs old, got COVID. She lost her smell and taste. But no other symptoms!! It’s been over a month now, and they tested her again and she is negative now. 😉
I am also a covid-19 survivor. Been coma for 2 months and because of covid-19 I was revived 4 times got stroke 4 times as well. 116 days in the hospital, Near Death Experience it was horrible. But thank God I am so grateful to be alive today! Keep safe everyone. God Bless.
You are a miracle, so glad to hear you are still with this world! You had a near death experience? I’m an RN and this is something I’ve always found interesting with my patients. I hope you are stronger and well now!
I'm 20 yrs old and I tested positive for the virus. It's my 4th day of quarantine and my symptoms aren't to bad-- can't smell, loss of appetite and sometimes I'd feel light-headed. But I'm praying to God for those who are sick and my family. Thanks and Take care
How are you feeling now? I'm also 20 and it's highly likely that I contracted the virus and have no idea what I should do to treat myself or cope with the pain
my mom got covid, and shes in the ICU right now. just asking for prayers from the world. she has struggled her whole life to give us a life. went through an arranged marriage with my dad who beat and abused her. after my dad died, she finally had some freedom. i live for my mom and she retired two years ago and I really want her to be happy and healthy. she gave us everything please pray for her. she's all i have.
@@starlight9447 hey she died. and my best friend, a week later we get into a casual convo, and she told me her dad died. .. cause of covid. when i described the whole situation, they only got worse after they were admitted to the hospital.
@@rickdemarko ong....thats horrible😭why did they die...and I don’t understand why after they go to the hospital they die🥺It makes me so scared cause It got to the point with my grandpa that he died on a ventillator...and I am worried sick because the doctors tell you to go to the hospital If anything happens. And I been having all kinda of symptoms and I test negative even though and same for my dad..:my moms the only that tested positive but I am scared to take her to the hospital....did you know anything on what happend with your family?and your mom...I am deep in pain and sorry for that please let me know anything and what did they do and say to you ..:this is not something great...

God heal us and take all the glory Amen.you will be fine. People recover successfully and so will anyone going through this this time Amen
I had it too! Worst body aches ever, felt like pins and needles for the first 2 days. I got over the extremeness 5-7 days. Shortness of breathe lasted 11 days. I live alone and had to take care of myself. That was a little scary. Thank God I made it thru! Glad you made it thru also!!
@@paulmerritt8593 Are you kidding me!! Not being able to breathe deeply was scary as hell. I could have went to the hospital and got on a ventilator if my immune system wasnt strong enough to get me thru. It was not "Just" a flu, I was just one of the lucky ones!!!
Yea the shortness of breathe sucks. Im go8ng thru it now and what also sucls is the dizziness. I ended up passing out and was scared shitless. Now im scared of laying down because i dont want to feel dizzy. Its the worse feeling i ever felt. Im on day 13 and still have shortness of breathe, dizziness , and slight loss of smell.
My mother had it in early March. Coughing uncontrollably, extreme fatigue, terrible night sweats, no appetite, vomiting, dizziness. Luckily no pain. She recovered and I'm glad you recovered as well!
So happy for your mom! How long was the recovery time? I lost my taste and smell sense and I’m on day 4, it’s a really strange feeling but other than this I’ve no other symptom, maybe feeling tired more often than normal but no fever and aches and pains. Really confused if I have the virus or not 🤷🏼♀️
We all recover. It's a flu. I had it too and I'm 50 so did my Dad and he is on oxygen with copd and he was fine in a week. We did not get the same strain as China was hit with. It mutates into a less lethal strain every time it changes hosts. This is virology 101. In Canada 97 percent of all covid deaths happened in long term care homes in the very very ill and very old. The other 3 percent were in palliative care. There has not been a single documented case of asymptomatic spread and you can confirm this on the WHO web site. What they tell you on TV and what they record on their site are very very different.
My great nan passed last week due to corona just 3 weeks after her son, my grandfather passed on for just generally being ill. No one deserves this and I’m grateful that people have gone and survived this horrible virus🙏🏾!
I got tested and still waiting for my results praying for the best. Glad to hear your doing way better God bless you, hope you get a negative test next time, prayers 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️.
If you ever get covid , seaman (male ) is a true cure .... I’ve been giving as many ladies as possible this treatment , so far I’ve had 100% effectiveness... one load , shortly followed by another should do the trick ....
@Prestige ...World ...Wide Wide Wide wide wide wide It happens every year. It is a virus. Some are worse than others. It isnt ebola. I know a number of people I care about that are still working and still going about their lives that are in high risk factors. I agree it would be horrible if one got it and died. However, I wouldnt be surprised if I heard they died from the flu. Then there are car crashes and everything else. So, do you live in a nursing home? Because unless you do I hardly think you have lost "people" around you in plural form. The entire numbers dont lie. Thursday of last week we had 50,000 new cases in the US which was a record high. Yet deaths were around 500. That is a record low death rate since April. Remember we are lumping everyone that has COVID19 in that number regardless if the virus killed them or they got hit by a car. For a while you couldnt even find the death statistics on the CDC website because they were so low. Yet they keep blasting out COVID19 is spreading and we are all going to die.
Charlotte Knight hey! Im gonna do a test tomorrow, im a 16 yr old guy from the netherlands, wednesday (its now friday) i woke up with a sore throat, later in the day i got a fever the next day the fever was kinda gone but is till have shortness of breath and sore throat, maybe i have the virus, but still happy that youre ok!!
I am almost 22 with COVID and also passed it to my mom, we are both in separate rooms, please pray for our recovery, we are staying strong and positive, stay safe out there. 🙏🏼
I’m on day 8 with the virus and I also got a urine infection. It’s been really really hard mentally and physically 🥺 y’all stay positive and strong tho. I hope I recover soon Edit: thanks for all the prayers 💗 I’m doing much better now 🙏🏼
Both my husband and I tested positive 3 days apart, he felt a little sick, tried to stay apart, but because I have MS he helps me a lot. We were both down in bed, all of your symptoms. I also had burning, itching, swollen hands with welts up my arms. This caused me to go to the ER. After 6 hours I was able to go home, my husband had to wait out in the car until I was released. It was the end of March when we got sick. As of today we are feeling human again, but still fatigued after simple tasks. I tried to vacuum our bedroom but wasn’t able. So very thankful we both recovered, there were a few days we were not sure we would recover. I’m also very thankful for my husband, who continued to help me when we were both so sick. We live with my mother in law and sister in law. Because we stayed isolated from them, they didn’t get sick!!!!!!
Thanks so much for sharing. This sounds awful - I’m sorry you had to go through all of that! But very glad that your family was able to stay healthy!! I’ll be posting a recovery update and COVID Q & A video in the next week. Feel free to comment with any questions you have and subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss it 😊😊😊
Robin Hughes, I have a background in research and if you have been diagnosed with MS, I have some information that might help you. As you know the doctors say MS is caused by the immune system eating away the protective coating around nerves called Myelin sheaths, but many times it's not the immune system, it's an elevated Methylmalonic acid dissolving the coating, which is caused by a low B12 at the tissue level. Just doing a normal B12 blood test won't show how low the tissue level is. You need a methylmalonic acid test, and if it is elevated, it means you have a low B12 tissue level, and the problem can be corrected by taking B12 injections. Once the B12 level is restored, the body will repair the Mylein sheaths over a 2 year period. Another thing that has been shown to cause MS, is an elevated free copper level due to an ATP7B gene defect. You need a direct measurement of free copper test, which is not the same as a normal serum copper test. This test will measure the amount of copper unbound to ceruloplasmin protein. The test number for the lab corp in Oklahoma is 279071, but it may differ in your state. Only a few labs do this test and lab corp is one of the few doing them. If your free copper is elevated, the safest compound to lower it is ammonium tetrathiomybdate (TM) or high dose zinc. TM will decopper you in 8 weeks, whereas zinc is slower and may take a year or two. A 3rd thing to look at is a low Vitamin D. If your immune system is really attacking your nerve coatings, then it could be caused by a low Vitamin D, because Vitamin D regulates the immune response, and when it's low the body's immune response goes haywire and attacks itself. As for the Covid 19, if you or your husband think you still have it in your lungs, go get you some Ivermectin worm medicine. It cured my severe Covid infection in 4 days. I tried everything under the sun to cure it, but it hung on for over a month. Once I took the Ivermectin I was fully recovered in 4 days. It works by stopping viral replication. The viruses only have a short life cycle and then they die in a few days. How the infection keeps going is the viruses replicate replacements to carry on after they die in a few days, and then those replacements replicate replacements, etc. Once you stop replication with Ivermectin, the viruses can't make replacements to carry on the war anymore, and then when they die in a few days, you are 100% virus free. I hope this info helps you out. Good luck and God Bless.
Jim Jackle thank you so much for this information. I take Vitamin D 4,000 OU’s per day. I didn’t know about the B12 though. I’ll check into that. Both my husband and I have recovered from COVID with only lasting fatigue. Thanks again for your helpful comment. God Bless!
You explained your experience with Covid very well. I’m currently fighting. I was admitted to the ICU and diagnosed with Covid on June 30 and it has been the scariest thing I have ever gone through. I am hopeful and grateful now since being discharged from the hospital on July 12th. I am currently still on oxygen but I get to be in my own home and yes I’m still in quarantine. This is an eye opening experience and I hope that more people take it serious and stay home and/or social distance. I had a lot of the same symptoms as you but I also caught pneumonia and I’m sure my asthma didn’t help. I still feel weak and not completely myself and I do have shortness of breath when standing or walking still. I hope for a full recovery but I know it’s going to take time. Hearing your story helped ease my mind I’m 28 years old and at times I didn’t know if I would make it, seeing you explain your experience and me knowing I had those same symptoms and also seeing that you have recovered makes me very happy and hopeful. Thank you.
I have had the latest variant of COVID, very suddenly after having avoided infection for well over a year. I agree with you about the sleep pattern disturbance. The worst part has been the unbearable headache, while my body felt like it was being put through a mangle. Then there's the inexplicable exhaustion: I had to collapse on the bed after only just managing to brush my teeth! Now, about two weeks later, the headaches are easing off and I'm getting my sense of taste back. Still feel a bit weak, but no longer with the yo-yo temperature. Yes, it's absolutely horrible, but thankfully no hospitalisation. We've been lucky, but it's so frustrating after having done so well over the past year. This variant acted quickly. I'm glad you're getting through it!
I’m currently in quarantine, I’m on day 23, my parents decided for all of us to stay an extra week until we get tested again and see what results we get. My mom tested negative but she still quarantined with us since me and my dad tested positive. Please wear protection if you’re out there and may god be with you wherever you are !
What are your symptoms I don’t know is I have it I have a headache I had a fever for one day and I feel like am getting a cold but that is about it I started feeling sick Monday but I felt really sick on Friday and Saturday now Sunday I feel so much better but I don’t know if is a cold the flu or COVID
I have mild symptoms and I’m about 12 days in. I still have trouble breathing and am coughing. I have asthma tho. Praying for everyone who’s suffering with the virus and for a speedy healthy recovery💖💖
I just got over it! One of the hardest things to deal with for me was the anxiety of having it. I was constantly scared of things being this bad but thankfully I was okay after about 7 days and my symptoms were never that bad! Hopefully you get over it just as quick!
@@adamhope22 well no it hasn't... covid is no where near this, remember the US and Italy falsely reported on covid deaths, the Italy death rate was found to be 96.6% false, even then you just made up that statistic, you do realise I have the same access to the internet you do?... or did you think your version of the internet has all the right answers?

@@adamhope22 I'm not from your country num nuts, Japan never locked down at all, no mandatory masks no social distancing, but yet tgeir death rate is one of the lowest, infection rates mean nothing, as you actually want as many of you healthy population infected as possible and as fast as possible. just because you were dumb enough to believe everything coming out of your TV doesn't make you informed. In fact its the exact opposite.
I automatically assume this virus is dangerous by the time the news said Wuhan issued lockdown and ten of thousands got out the city before effective lock down time. Don't really need the government to tell you covid is no joke.
Anyone anywhere in the world who believes what their govt says are very naive. Every govt everywhere lies to the public and only have their own best interest at heart and thats not whats best for the public.
@Turquoise Cheetah learn something about science. The test tests for RNA in your mucous from the virus. Not sure where you got your information, but now you are aware.

I'm twice your age and really don't want to get it and have done everything to avoid it. You can see how bad it is when older people get it just from your time getting it. The media has acted like only those 60 and higher struggle with it and they act like young people are fine with it. But I read what you say and what so many other younger people are saying here and it is scary to see how bad so many have had with it who are under 40 and even in their 20's.

Im like this right now I totally agree! Not being able to take a full deep breath scared me the first time, I’m on day 4 and I’m still scared honestly:( I got my sense of smell and taste back no more fever no more headaches no more chills but just can’t take a deep breath. I start to cough like crazy if I do can’t even up to long....So I’ve been laying down in bed this whole time. What do you guys recommend for shortness of breath?
I have to little kids, one breastfed, my husband has to go to work because he didn't get permission to stay at home,we only have one bathroom, I have to cook for the kids and take care of them. I have some mild symptoms. There's no way we can isolate ourselves from each other 🤦
@Jimmy James I hate to sound divisive, but people like bud long are quite honestly part of the problem. There isn't much that the government can do when the people themselves are either resistant, apathetic, ignorant, or a combination. I'm not implying that people are stupid or even necessarily wrong, but at some point individuals have to take responsibility. Thankfully, the majority of people have been reasonably cooperative. Unfortunately, media fearmongering (although not completely wrong) is partly not helping, and the political division is ridiculous. If people on all sides of the political spectrum only just learned to STFU and just listen and learn from the science, we would be in a far better position. Honestly, if co19 was as bad as the Spanish Flu, we would be so shafted up the rear with flag poles in half-mast in fatalities. And now to commercial break...

I love Canada. Competent government, healthcare for all, generally polite population. You guys were on top of this from the get go and that’s why you’ve done so well with the low numbers. Glad you have gotten better. I’m sure it was super scary while it lasted.
they have done terrible job, number dont indicate anything unless you test everybody all the time. I live in toronto it has been complete joke and waste of time cause the virus is everywhere. If canada hd the usa population we would be wayy worse off. I’m 20 and just got tested positive. On the 30th my symptoms started with a minor headache and the next day my lower back hurt and if I touched it, it felt like a sunburn. After that I lost my sense of smell and taste on the 2nd of July. I got my sense of smell and taste back but barely lol it’s slowly coming back. The virus isn’t that bad for me but for sure worse for other people. I’m actually one of those who took precautions and still somehow got it. Doctor told me I’m towards my end of my recovery since they count the 14 days from the first sign of symptoms but I might wait longer depending if I get symptoms again. As of right now I feel fine and have no more symptoms so they told me 10 days from when you test positive and if you have no symptoms and 3 days of no fever without the help of medication. The hoax around this virus is so unreal and people actually falling for it. Virus is very real and even if you’re lucky like me and get minor symptoms just be grateful and still be aware how serious it is for others. I’m not worried for myself but the stress and anxiety of wondering if you passed it on to your love ones is the worse feelings but other than that stay safe!
The same thing happened to me I was tested positive six days ago and it’s been six days the only symptoms I have is lost his taste and smell and diarrhea and feeling a little weak but that’s about it how long does it take for you to recover and how are you feeling now
I’m on day 4 feeling the shortness of breath & emotional as hell haha but yes this virus is very real and I wish people would just listen ! I can’t wait to go back to my post corona self 😭
No one is saying that the covid 19 is a hoax! If so these people are a planet visiting from outta space! 😱🤔🤗 But if you get serious effects then take an Asma inhalers and nebulizer along with having a steroid and antibiotic available. This is just odd because some who wears masks thinking they are protected. We found out that the masks people tested positive for covid 19. The folks not wearing a mask, didn't get sick. Japan and tiiwaan have the least amount of sick people. They are using inhalers and nebulizer treatment with antibiotics and steroids. Check out how many. Flu is similar to this. SRS.
I was a musician living in Toronto before the quarantine. I moved back with my folks for the last couple months. We got covid just a week ago. I posted on my socials that I got it and my family said I brought shame our name. But I don't want to go through this disease alone and I miss my friends and everytime they reached out things got less scary. I had a lot of friends in the music scene and they were really important to me in my growth as an artist. Watching your video gives me hope and I'm really thankful that you shared your story.

Day 5 for me. Feeling everything you described...continuous low-grade fever, complete body ache, loss of appetite and taste. THEN, I watched your DCL video and saw all of the Mickey and Minnie fans in the audience watching you in awe and I literally got choked up and felt the best I've felt since I found out I was COVID-19 positive. Thank you.
You were wise to leave the ship when you did! A lot of the severity of illness with this seems to be related to total viral load of exposure. By leaving the infectious situation relatively early, you probably saved your own life! Well done 😁
about 2 weeks ago my moms friend tested positive and is currently in the icu, that week my couzin and her husband tested positive and today today i tested positive for covid please keep us in your prayers.
Got a positive home test Friday, confirmed at a walk in clinic Saturday. I wasn’t paying attention to symptoms, but on Thursday I just felt tired and didn’t want to do anything, however after work Friday I had a real bad feeling. I was so exhausted I almost couldn’t get enough energy to grab a home test kit, that my husband had bought weeks before. I honestly laughed thinking what a waste of money. I read the instructions twice cause I couldn’t understand the first time, that worried me. In any case I took the test and as soon as the part came that you put the 4 drops in the test strip and it instantly was positive, I knew it. I waited the 15 minutes, but I knew it. The next day it was confirmed. Even though I’m 69 I am super healthy, lots of energy I am on the go 16 hours a day. Now in pain, plus all the classic symptoms. Really hot baths help and I keep a hot water bottle on my back to help with the back pain. Had never fainted in my life, till Saturday morning, fortunately it wasn’t more than bruised shin. For me the worse thing is the non stop body pain everywhere! I didn’t think it was so real until it was my tun to get it! That’s unfortunately how we are as humans, non real till it happens to you. Glad people post these videos they are helpful , very helpful.
I'm 14 weeks post covid and still recovering with insane fatigue, shortness of breath, chest pain. Treated for pneumonia twice, post broncholitis syndrome and now post covid asthma. This thing isn't just a flu 😷
The flu is a much bigger problem. Despite vaccinationprograms Influenza also kills thousands and thousands of people each year. But the patients don't get tested and the numbers aren't counted and published daily. Otherwise we would have a panic and a lockdown every few years depending on the virulence of the virus.
Double Red Donor ..... Was absolutely positive I had Covid in February when my State of Wisconsin only had tests available for the big cities and not my rural area, took me 3 months to get over but the antibody test end of June said negative antibodies ☹️. I have Multiple Scelorsis and my County is having an explosion in cases. 5-7 new confirmed per day for the last week in a County of 40,000. We are taking all the safety precautions but so few do in Wisconsin and even fewer in Marinette County. I am still not feeling 100% since February and no antibodies ☹️. Not looking forward to the next few months around here. Stay safe everyone

Having survived Covid-19 as well, I can heavily relate to the extreme fatigue that it causes to your body! I'm a healthy guys in my 20s with no underlying conditions and it was a complete struggle to even get up and pee or just to sit up. I tried to play video games every day to try and muscle through the high fever and aches. The aches were PAINFUL and I also had thoughts that I might not get through this because it took soooo long to feel like I was starting to get better that 1) I was just going to be sick for the rest of my life or 2) My body is going to start losing and my health will deteriorate even more. I'm so happy my family did not contract this like I did because they have underlying conditions and I wouldn't able to forgive myself if I may have infected them.
You had a bad flu. I got it too. Your family most likely had it too but did not get any symptoms. My wife had it and got no symptoms. We are both 50 years old. My Dad had it and he has advanced COPD and is on oxygen. He was better in 7 days and did not need hospitalization or a ventilator. You have to already be on your death bed to die from covid 19.
@@paulmerritt8593 If it was just the flu, which I've experienced before multiple times in my life, it wouldn't have lasted four weeks and I experienced shortness of breath and chest pain and tested positive for Covid. There was a big difference between how i felt from having the flu and this. My family tested negative for it and antibodies, they most likely didn't get infected because I just stayed in my room.
@@paulmerritt8593 That's actually not true. Yes, the majority who perishes from covid are the elderly, but there have been children, teenagers & a large amount of middle aged men and women die from this virus. If you have asthma, if your immune system is compromised in any way - you are very likely to not make it through the virus. As with any virus or illness, it entirely depends on the individuals immune system and just how bad the symptoms are.
What a blessing your experience has turned out, and further proof of Canada’s health care system to take care of people. I really appreciate your post here, I’m cautious and still sheltering in place in California.
I got tested yesterday and i am positive. I have lost my sense of smell and taste. My stomach hurts and have cough and low grade fever. My parents are fully exposed and Dad has 2 preexisting condition and Mom has fever and cough. Please please pray, we all beat this. Im scared for my Dad and Mom. My dad had a procedure 3 days ago, which he is still vulnerable from.
@Jooodiey stay isolated as much as possible at home drink a lot of fluids and I even turned the shower on without being in it and let my body heats up and sweat and I sleep in a warm spot if possible I pray that you become 100% better
I'm going through it now. I'm on day 12 and still feel just as bad as I did day one. Chills, pains, aches, and no sense of smell or taste. Even my eyeballs feel sore 😷😭
Aw i hope you're doing better! Hang in there. I have COVID19 too and here are my sx entries. Day 1 I started getting an itchy throat and a slight cough. Day 2 throat was still itchy and more coughing. Day 3 same as day 2 and I tested positive. Day 4. Sore throat and coughing and a little bit of tiredness. Day 5. Sore throat and itchy throat went away. Day 6. Slight cough and nose congestion. So far I'm deal with a mild case of covid. No loss of taste or smell. Thank God. Pray for me guys.
@@ryanbvisuals wishing you a speedy recovery ! my mom came sick from work w symptoms and a few days after everyone at home got sick. I am 20 and got a dry throat on 12/26 and my symptoms started from there . First few days I was super tired and had body aches ... now on my 5th day i have a stuffy nose , a cough here and there and some dizzy spells . Praying for everyone w this scary virus ! Wish you all safety or safe recovery ! ✨
@@kisslandddd Hello! Im all better now! My symptoms lasted for about 9-10 days. Some tips for you: drink a lot of drinks with electrolytes (I drank a powerade daily), double up on Vitamin C, D, and Zinc, drink a lot of decaffeinated tea with lemon, honey and ginger, try to eat a lot, sleep/rest often but at the same time, go sit outside or walk around in the sun (away from people) for about 15 mins a day, and buy the NeilMed Pharmaceuticals Sinus Rinse Kit. The sinus rise will help you flush out all the virus in your nose that is causing the congestion! I did it twice a day. 1x in the morning and 1x at night. I did all of this and felt better in days! I actually did end up losing my sense of taste and smell too. It came back in 4-5 days. Perfect time to eat all those yucky healthy food (: Good luck! Let me know if you need anymore tips
I'm at home with covid right now and it's sooooooo helpful to hear your timeline and know that I'm not the only person who isn't getting better as quickly as I'd like to. Thank you.
Your story is inspiring and gives me hope. Thank you for sharing with us. I'm on day 3 - mild fever coming and going..slight chest pressure. I'm completely isolated in my bedroom from my 63yr old mother who is currently caring for me. My wife is staying at her maternal house, where she too is recovering from covid 19. I'm going for my covid test tomorrow. Wish me luck!
my mom, sister and I all tested positive while my dad, who has many preexisting health issues, tested negative. we feel blessed that we were able to manage our symptoms at home. it was one of the hardest experiences of our lives, but we are so thankful to say that we survived covid! although our symptoms were mild in comparison to many, it was still rough and not something I'd wish on anyone. the body aches are killer. it feels like your head is being crushed. your sinuses are all whacked. it's just not a pleasant experience. but, we survived. and that is the important thing. we are still trying to regain our strength, but we are hopeful we will be back to normal shortly! my love goes to everyone who has and is currently battling this awful virus. it truly is horrific, and my heart hurts seeing so many become so sick from it. xx
I got Corona too, in April. I was working in a nursing home,,it hit bad there.. it was a horrific time watching the patients get sick, and many die.. I knew we had it in our building before it was officially told to us , I just knew it.. Anyway, I felt sick one morning and I took my temp and it was 101, so I went and got tested it was positive , that stuff held on for a full month, I did lose my taste and smell, shortness of breath , sore throat ,muscle aches ,fatigue... same as you.. I kept waiting to feel better, and didn't.. and then sometimes I WOULD feel better .. and then I would feel bad again! I just slept allllll the time... that's all I could do. My taste an smell was gone for like a full 2 weeks 🤦🏼♀️ maybe longer ... it was pretty rough. I didnt leave the house for about a month.. a friend had groceries delivered to me during that time... I'm glad you're feeling better! Corona sucks !
I’m so glad you recovered ❤️ Me and my mum were recently tested positive she’s 55 and asthmatic and diabetic and I’m so scared and worried, I’m not worried about myself, my mum is my biggest concern it’s been 3 days and my symptoms feel gone but Ik I’m still positive me and my mum both are not feeling any symptoms. I just hope it goes away and we all feel okay❤️
Yep experiencing everything u said. I was bad for 2 days. I’m on day 16 still fatigue, 50% smell and taste back, mild head congestion, mild eye pain and dry cough. That’s really nice that your nurse you called daily.
@@CharlotteKnight, Unfortunately, if you are in small prefectures.. you and your workplace might be discriminated against. Some people have literally been run out of town because of it. Glad you made a full recovery!!

Just tested for Covid & I am currently waiting on my results. I had pretty bad abdominal pain to where I felt winded everytime I walked or had to sit/ stand up. Even laying down hurt so bad. This lasted about 7 days. The next day I developed a fever that has lasted 4 days so far. Along with the fever came body aches, migraines, chills & sweats. This has been the most painful experience ever & I’m only 20 years old.
I just got tested for covid yesterday and I’m absolutely terrified lol. Can you describe your abdominal pain for me? I’ve been trying to research what other people have been experiencing with the abdominal pain but i can’t find anyone that’s describing it and this pain is unbearable and annoying.
Deja Robinson it is unbearable pain! I was taking ibuprofen but apparently it masks other symptoms so my doctor advised me away from it. I felt so winded everytime I walked or sat down. I honestly thought I strained my abdominal from working out & had no clue it could be related to COVID until the doctor said so. It lasted about a week, and I tested negative as well! Hope that helps a little
Sabri idk who you’re asking the question to lol but the person who posted the comment tested negative and im still waiting on my test results and my abdominal pains have minimized

I'm from California and I am so jealous of how the Canadian government seems to have handled this. everything here is such a joke. Glad you made a full recovery! Thanks so much for sharing.
Well said! Sorry to hear that :( Where in Cali are you from? We have friends in Long Beach and they are pretty much staying to themselves as much as possible, despite their neighbors and friends not wanting to take social distancing very seriously. I am so glad to live in Canada, I won't lie! Thanks so much for watching :)
I’m jealous too! My family and I got covid with very mild symptoms thank God. I am from California. And it sucks. They didn’t tell us anything.. other than wait 14 days
Same here with me! I tested positive 6 days ago and i've been feeling fever, diarrhoea, lost sense of smell and taste, small dry cough and also fatigue, but they're getting better each day and now im kinda okay, only i havent been able to taste and smell. How are you?
3 weeks ago, I started showing symptoms including loss of appetite, shortness of breath, headache, and nauseous. I was barely eating and ate few snacks to help me to survive through the day. Getting the sunlight from the sun does help my headache and nausea. My shortness of breath was worse on day 1 because it is unusual to be out of breath during my bike ride. I gotten better slowly day by day and recovered to my full health after 7 days. I hope everyone survived through it. 🙏
@@lupiss707 I got my senses back three days ago and it lasted for about a week. My mom on the other hand still cannot taste or smell, so I think its different for everyone.

Agnese Gatti it doesn’t feel like a sore throat anymore it’s more like it’s feels dry. And I have little bumps toward the back of my tongue my doctor said it’s because of hot weather. I’ve been drinking salt water with lemon and ginger. Any recommendations?
mcgxdos You could try to inhale hot water steam mixed with essential oils (eucaliptus or tea tree). This is really beneficial. Also drink tea with honey. This should help 😊
I also had covid 19. I began with symptoms on March 17th, one day after my son (a firefighter) came down with symptoms. We had been together 3 weekends in a row, helping him and his wife move to a new house, and we were just getting to the quarantine stage and figured since we'd spent so much time together, what's another day? He came over to do a few loads of laundry, since their appliances hasn't been delivered yet. That night, after spending 3 hours at our house with me, he awoke with a fever and coughing. He bounced back in 4 days or so. His wife had an antibody test later and never got the virus, which is amazing. I spent the next 13 days running a fever, lost sense of taste and smell (for weeks!) and then had stomach issues, headaches and sinus problems for several weeks after. I never had the cough, but shortness of breath was a big issue as I began to take short walks up and down the driveway. Fatigue plagued me for weeks. My husband quarantined in our basement, we used separate bathrooms and I followed myself around the kitchen with a bleach rag, wiping everything down as I went. He has been sick with a sinus infection for a few weeks beforehand and was on antibiotics, but at some point, also contracted covid, as he had an antibody test in May. My son found out later that a fellow firefighter was in the same ambulance as he was 24 hours prior, and he had tested positive the day before my son. I have known 16 people now who have had it, and 5 have died. One of them spent 15 days in the hospital near death. The doctors didn't even bother putting him on a ventilator but he surprised everyone by pulling thru. 8 weeks later and he still can't get completely off of oxygen. He's 72. People, this is no joke and it is certainly NOT the flu! I am now dealing with memory issues and changes to my eyesight. I've been told by my doctor that when someone's sense of taste and smell are affected, then the brain has been affected. Some people report chronic heart or lung problems. We don't know what's down the road. Like most viruses, it will likely live forever in the body the rest of your life. Like chicken pox, herpes and HIV. These are known viruses. We know that 40 years after chicken pox people can develope shingles. We know that herpes will recur on and off, as will HIV, possibly going into full blown aids. What about this virus? In 10 years, will I develope skin lesions, brain tumors, or grow a third arm? Who knows? Is my son 40 years from now going to have a major health issue that may shorten his life or cause a permanent disability? I pray not! These people that say we need to just expose everybody, develope herd immunity and get it over with have no clue what they are talking about, because no one has a clue what is in store down the road.
Im 20, just tested positive 2 days ago. I have mild symptoms...I have a stuffy nose and sore throat and I had chest pains but breathing exercises helped.
When I found out I had covid 3 days ago, I promise I went into a little panic, I instantly thought I was going to die, I'm glad that so far my symptoms are mild, It sucks, I don't wish it on anyone because everyone deals with it differently...stay healthy everyone, and take it seriously.
I noticed your comment is from not terribly long ago. No offense, but do you really think you need to tell everyone about Covid nearly 3 years into it, like it's something new? Yes, people know to take it seriously by now. This isn't early 2020. We know that there is a virus out there and it's still considered novel, even now. We know that even being fully vaccinated plus boosted, there is STILL a chance of not only catching it, but also even dying from it, however, the chances of dying from it after being vaccinated and boosted with updated boosters are fairly low. The point is...WE KNOW!! We don't need to be reminded day in and day out. That is not to say that the seriousness should be downplayed. It NEVER means that. But constant reminding for almost 3 years isn't helping matters either.
@@montecarlo4294 you feel better that you got that out of your system? I can let people know the seriousness of it 3 years later or 30 years later if it is still a thing, who are you? it bothered you that much because I told people to take it seriously 3 years later? lol you do know there are people who don't believe it is real, right? they think it is just a cold, if you know then carry on...but i'll say what i want...no offense lmao

I had Covid 19 with my symptoms very similar to yours. My symptoms started on April 10th and evolved through to May 6th. To this day my sense of smell has not returned. I feel grateful to have recovered without having to go to the hospital. With my loss of sense of taste, the top of my tongue turned red. I found the cold sweats at 2 am for about 5 nights was awful. I also self isolated at home and managed not to infect the rest of my family.
I literally had the EXACT same symptoms. I'm on day 10 of quarentine and I still have a dry cough and feel a little weak. I have begun to catch wiffs of smells and am a little depressed and miss seeing people.
Day 2 with a fever, got tested for Covid this morning, so I’m waiting for my results. Praying for the best 🥺💞 Update: I got my results, I tested Positive. I feel really sick right now. Update year 2022 : after having COVID this first time when I shared this over a year ago, I did lose my sense of taste and smell. I did experience the strong pressure in my head, I would be out of breath with just taking a few steps outside my yard. I was miserable. I am better now, I did recover my taste and smell & I am also fully vaccinated, but despite that… I got COVID again last month, & i am currently pregnant. I am so grateful that I am fine, & my baby is too. Being vaccinated helped me not experience those symptoms I did before so intensely. Please stay safe everyone !
Ramlethal Valentine Destroyed i am on day 7, & I have to quarantine for 10 days my doctor said. So far I have no fever. The only thing that is hard on me is my headache. It’s an extreme pressure I get. & I am just extremely fatigued.
They’re saying now that that sleeping is what gets you, you’ve got to get up and move and make yourself breath and breath deep. They say it’s horrible how tired you are. Glad you’re better.
Wow really? That’s so interesting. I’m going to read up on that. Sleeping definitely didn’t make me feel any better, it was just what my body wanted to do. Thank so much for watching!!
Charlotte Knight well, it’s more of not sleeping in your back because then it settles in your lungs, they say to lay in your stomach and breath deeply, even though it hurts. It doesn’t seem to be really out there but Gov, Cuomo’s brother was talking about it, and I’ve heard others, from England talking about it and then another person here in the US and his nurses were getting him up constantly and making him breath. It really bothers me that this info isn’t out there in the mainstream,. Plus taking vit D as Dr Campbell in England is reporting. I really question the powers that be out there, it seems as they aren’t very forthcoming in information, except to give bad news about rising numbers. But good news and helpful hints fir healing if you do get it, isn’t sensational and doesn’t sell .
Yes! My brother has it. He can not stay awake. My husband is a physician and calls him to remind him to get up and about and take several deep breaths in and out. Bless you for this remarkable account and description of your journey back to ‘almost’ good health.
I'm currently a Covid nurse. I've been in nursing for 36 years. I've never experienced anything like this. Praise God you are on the mend ! My advice to all is this thing is real. Stay home , wash those hands and don't touch things you don't have to !

Thank you!

Covid-19 survivor here. The virus is weak af. My immune system kicked it’s ass.
Congrats 🥳

Thank you.
So glad you found it helpful! 💛💛
Hello was your symptoms mild moderate or severe 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Just curious, had you been vaccinated when you contracted Covid and if not, are you vaccinated now? If you don't mind me asking
I’m currently in quarantine, I’m on day 23, my parents decided for all of us to stay an extra week until we get tested again and see what results we get. My mom tested negative but she still quarantined with us since me and my dad tested positive. Please wear protection if you’re out there and may god be with you wherever you are !

But if you get serious effects then take an Asma inhalers and nebulizer along with having a steroid and antibiotic available. SRS.

Thanks so much for watching. I hope you’re feeling better soon!

Huhu
The flu is a much bigger problem. Despite vaccinationprograms Influenza also kills thousands and thousands of people each year. But the patients don't get tested and the numbers aren't counted and published daily. Otherwise we would have a panic and a lockdown every few years depending on the virulence of the virus.
I feel like that every day for years from my autoimmune diseases 😔 I'm literally so tired every single day I can't even get out of bed

@@badnana1833 Oh wow, WISCONSIN?
My friend was there for a week last week. She was astonished as it felt so normal there. Like a bubble inside all the other states who were panicking about covid whereas it wasn't the case in Wisconsin.
I don't know where exactly in Wisconsin she visited, but she said it felt so normal compared to Illinois and parts of Missouri where it's absolutely mandatory you wear a mask to all public places.
That is very distressing to hear though! Hope you all get better soon. Sickness is awful and hope and pray and BELIEVE to dispel this sickness soon! 💜🙏🏼 💜

How long have you had it

Let me know if you need anymore tips

my mom, sister and I all tested positive while my dad, who has many preexisting health issues, tested negative. we feel blessed that we were able to manage our symptoms at home.
it was one of the hardest experiences of our lives, but we are so thankful to say that we survived covid! although our symptoms were mild in comparison to many, it was still rough and not something I'd wish on anyone. the body aches are killer. it feels like your head is being crushed. your sinuses are all whacked. it's just not a pleasant experience. but, we survived. and that is the important thing. we are still trying to regain our strength, but we are hopeful we will be back to normal shortly! my love goes to everyone who has and is currently battling this awful virus. it truly is horrific, and my heart hurts seeing so many become so sick from it. xx
I wish everyone could be as responsible as you all were. So proud of you, and soooo happy that you are feeling better

Hope that helps a little
Any update?
