One of the best damn things to come from 2013. Pure emotion this story garners. Cody gained so much fire and momentum during this time period, Goldust was back and I can't say anything bad about the story itself. That match is so perfect, not because of the action, the action was simple, but because of the drama. It's definitely in my top 5 WWE matches from 2013. What did you think of the Rhodes Family story?
Honestly, this story lead to Dustin vs Cody at Double or Nothing, and I only watched Battleground to see RVD vs Delrio and Shield vs The Brotherhood, you should make a who's better video of WWF/WWE Kurt to TNA and WCPW Kurt Angle
It was amazing. It's one of the key reasons why the Rhodes Family is so legendary in pro wrestling. They always know how to play the underdog role to perfection.
Hey wp you forgot after there title win they were guest commentators on raw and jbl decided to bury them on commentary for no reason in super harsh fashion
One of the best feuds of 2013. Cody and Goldust really did shined as an underdog team. Their match with The Shield at Battleground remains to be an instant classic. What an emotional and epic story for the Rhodes Family. R.I.P Dusty
Their storyline was the most entertaining I’ve ever experienced from the storylines to the matches And Cody literally turned his whole life around after leaving WWE best decision he made
Brooooo, that match at Battleground 2013 with The Shield vs. Cody and Goldust was a motherfreaking CLASSIC!!! One of my favorite tag team matches ever! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This was right before i dropped wrestling but the whole "you had to cheer for them" statement is so spot on. Each defeat was crushing but the victories were so amazing. Additionally the little redemption arc Big Show got was really nice as at the time he was kinda like the friendly giant who could fuck someone up so seeing him help the Rhodes brothers was nice.
I remember this whole thing. Why Cody Rhodes was never WWE Champion during this time (or World Heavyweight Champion during his feud with Damien Sandow) is beyond me. Also, Godspeed, Dusty Rhodes.
This rivalry was soooo good. Just sucks that after all that stuff Cody said of wwe putting polka-dots on dusty and putting Dustin in gold paint, they went and did the exact same thing to Cody himself. And then when he wanted to stop they said no and ultimately released him. Wwe kinda won in the end. But cody is doing well now without them so he's a winner too
When you really think about it the Rhodes family are serverly underrated and such be considered geniuses and some of the greats. Think about it in Ring they're okay at most good but they always deliver in emotional and passionate story telling. Take this feud and in double or nothing 2019 story telling. They make an average match and make it so memorable and enjoyable because they bring a real feel of emotion and suspense to their matches.
Damm 2014 should have been really the year of cody and cesaro. After this epic tag team champion run he should have transitioned into the world champion feud.
I remember this feud, one of the last feuds I remember and watched before I stopped watching WWE and wrestling as a whole for a few years. Cody should of been a bigger star, he needed to get a push with the MITB after this or a direct push. Great video and great choice!
I've been a WWE fan since 1992 when I was 3 years old, so 30 years, and this storyline was my favorite of the 2010's decade. Probably among my top 3 or 5 favorite storylines of all time. We all love long term story telling, well this one goes back to the 1980's. It's blue collar vs white collar America. It's vendettas. It acknowledged the McMahon's mistreatment of anyone who worked for his competitors, by ribbing Dusty with the polkadots and by ribbing Dustin with Goldust. And yet, they both got crazy over against all of Vince McMahon's attempts. Goldust has stated this storyline (culminating with winning the tag titles from the Shield in October 2013) is one of his top 3, along with the Hollywood backlot brawl and facing Cody at Double or Nothing. And yet, I don't think the Rhodes story in WWE has written it's final chapter. I believe at Wrestlemania 39 you will see Cody defeat Roman ending the 2.5 year reign. The storyline will focus on the Anoi'a dynasty vs the Rhodes dynasty - a rich wrestling tradition of Uce's who basically run an entire patch of island vs the son of the son of a plumber. I expect the forbidden door to be opened for one night only, with Dustin sitting ringside with Brandi for the main event after being inducted into the WWE HOF the night before. These two (along with a betrayed Sami Zayn) will play an instrumental part in neutralizing the Usos and Paul Heyman at ringside. And the match will end, ironically, exactly how the tag title match in 2013 ended, with Cody pinning Roman in the middle of the ring. Cody Rhodes will win the big one that eluded Dusty and Dustin, SIXTEEN YEARS after his WWE debut (hard to believe as he's still young) and end the Reign of terror. THAT will be the final storybook chapter of the Rhodes in WWE.
Stardust could be a cool character in WWE for decent amount of time but what's the problem is that it's Cody FREAK'N Rhodes!!! Like Cody has all the potential but I guess he is better off leaving that company and now he is living his career in AEW so best of lucks for the American Nightmare!
Cody definitely deserved a big push after that. I think he would have been a great WWE champion. Alas, shit happens and people move forward. I just wish that Cody would be able to challenge for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship. A rivalry between him and Moxley would be great
Ideas. 1.Whos better: Batista or Brock Lesnar 2.Rise and Fall of Nation of Domination 3. Rise and Fall of People Power 4. Why wasnt he a main eventer: Cesaro 5. The Feud between John Cena and Batista 2010
When Cody got release I thought this dude will go nowhere and I had no hope for him but just a year after he is making more money and having great matches after great matches
I’m far from saying your chooses are trash, cause they aren’t. The problem is when your chooses are Daniel Bryan World title run or Vito toughest man to wear a dress. Like just off those 2 titles you know which one will win😒. Can’t be random when it’s the same things everyone else is doing

Do what if cena vs taker at mania 23 please
A video on AEW bro, please. :) ❤️

Cody should've been a world champion in the wwe. It's so frustrating looking back on how much talent wwe has wasted.
Many guys come and go but Cody to me was definitely a missed opportunity.
@@wrestlingspremier Definitely!
Ikr but cod said at the time he wasn’t ready to be a work champion
Good for us now we have AEW
@@applesauce504 and he is not aew
Their storyline was the most entertaining I’ve ever experienced from the storylines to the matches
And Cody literally turned his whole life around after leaving WWE best decision he made
That rivalry was really good. And that match at Battleground alone was just incredible. One of the best matches of the 2010s
I love the 2 separate matches. Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton; Goldust vs Randy Orton.
Brooooo, that match at Battleground 2013 with The Shield vs. Cody and Goldust was a motherfreaking CLASSIC!!! One of my favorite tag team matches ever! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Same
This is my favorite story line from 2013. I feel like after this story line they could've made Cody Rhodes a star. What a missed opportunity
Thanks for doing this WrestlingsPremier, I still remember watching this and being invested
Rey Mysterio vs Eddie Guerrero in WCW
I suggest Mark Henry Hall Of Pain run.
I watched this with my mother she grew up with the American Dream 🙏🏾 this was one of wwe best storylines
That Battleground match was damn good story wise. Seth's sell of that Cross-Rhodes is still one of my favorites too
this was the story that made me a cody rhodes and goldust fan but sadly they never pulled the trigger on cody to be a main eventer
My suggestion as always is a John Morrison is underrated or something like that video lol!!!
Nice job as always WP. I liked this story alot.
Do a video on The Authority
That Orton championship run in 2013 was underated
And all of this happened because Cody didn't invited HHH nor Orton to his wedding
Such a small thing built into a memorable story.
How come? Cody and Randy were part of Legacy
This was right before i dropped wrestling but the whole "you had to cheer for them" statement is so spot on. Each defeat was crushing but the victories were so amazing. When I think of BATTLEGROUND in general, I think of this match.
It makes me happy that they finally got to have this big moment together.
I miss those sitdowns with m. cole & triple h at prime authority figure

This was good I remember watching this shit back when I used to watch raw and smack down every week invested asf since I was like in the 6th-7th grade
Damm 2014 should have been really the year of cody and cesaro. After this epic tag team champion run he should have transitioned into the world champion feud.
This video is so damn special. Reminds me of 2013, my childhood.
That was a great storyline remember watching back in 2013 when I was 7
And it had an amazing ending with them winning the tag title from the shield
I always listen to The Brotherhood’s theme song. Very underrated but a good mix of Smoke and Mirrors and Goldust’s theme song
Yay....you chose my suggestion!!
Their match vs the shield at battleground is one of my all time favorites
I remember this feud, one of the last feuds I remember and watched before I stopped watching WWE and wrestling as a whole for a few years. Cody should of been a bigger star, he needed to get a push with the MITB after this or a direct push. Great video and great choice!
He got a punch to the face and then an ambulance came, omg dude 😂
"Tout" was never a thing. WWE tried to push it that one year, but it didn't work.
Video idea: Who's better: Undertaker or Kane
The last time that I watched Cody Rhodes and Dusty Rhodes
I believe this served as a blueprint for Cody Rhodes’ early AEW babyface run
Hey bro have you ever considered of doing what if videos I think you’ll be awesome
U should make a video about Chris Jericho faew title reign even doe it wasn’t too long ago i would love a vid on it
Would love to see Matt Hardy V1
Great video BTW
This was a very great storyline and seeing Cody (not Stardust) and his brother together was so special to see.
Matt V1 next my man. Love all things Dustin Rhodes.

Can you do a video on The usos from 2010 to now
Definitely will do it. They had such a slow rise to the top. At one point, I was shocked to hear they never won the tag titles.
Can you do from dashing to undashing cody rhodes
I would love to see the Rise of Elite video.
Please do Chris Benoit and Booker T 7-Match Series on SmackDown (ft. Randy Orton) in '05
Can you make sami zayn and kevin owens feud in nxt to the main roster? It hasa good storyline and have some good matches
Good video
You should do a video about: who is better 2001 kane or 1999 kane
Muhammad Hassan's wwe run
Like so he can see
Can we get a Summer of Punk video?
Am I The Only One Who Noticed Aryia Davari At 3:02
Please do the Invasion storyline
Ladies and gentlemen plz welcome your wwe champion Cody Rhodes
2013 was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Def should do who's better Edge or Orton
Ideas.
1.Whos better: Batista or Brock Lesnar
2.Rise and Fall of Nation of Domination
3. Rise and Fall of People Power
4. Why wasnt he a main eventer: Cesaro
5. The Feud between John Cena and Batista 2010
Dusty and his 2 sons were in the ring together before in 2010 on NXT when Goldust was tryna marry Aksana
Please make a video on "The rise of Stone Cold Steve Austin". He was the leader of the attitude era and deserves a video tribute.
When Cody got release I thought this dude will go nowhere and I had no hope for him but just a year after he is making more money and having great matches after great matches
What I learnt from Cody as a fan is that don't count anyone out just because they were released by WWE and was a WWE "reject"
Motive which could have happened in WWE dream magic happened in WWE like undertaker vs sting like
Can you do Johnny vs Ciampa
RIP Dusty.
I remember being 9 and wanting Cody to win so badly
Do the authority storyline
CODY LOOKING #JAKKED IN THAT PIC @ THE END!!
You should do a KO universal title video
Can you make new days early run. Or triple H reign of terror.
Can you do CM Punk and Paul Heyman feud please
Lawler vs Michael cole
WWE's comeuppance for it's incompetency and mismanagement of talent is AEW
Funny how the Rhodes family paying their dues in storyline came to life before they left LMAO
It was a fucking awesome feud
The Rhodes made this story line lol the Authority had to be one of the worst ideas ever
Goldust vs orton was a good ass MATCH!! and the storytelling was at it's best wwe cant seem to tell stories like this anymore though SMH
How about the first ever war games( NXT) 😊
if cody got push, AEW wouldn't exist.
Do John cena and randy orton rivalry
Aew vs Wwe
I’m far from saying your chooses are trash, cause they aren’t. The problem is when your chooses are Daniel Bryan World title run or Vito toughest man to wear a dress. Like just off those 2 titles you know which one will win😒. Can’t be random when it’s the same things everyone else is doing
The nightmare family
0:07 I made it into a Wrestling Premier Video let's go.
Don’t let this distract you from the fact that I post a video of me screaming like a maniac at games every other week.
Bruh Damien sandow should have beat John cena for world title and then he should’ve fought Cody and Cody should’ve won
Americannn
Do John Morrison
Matt V1 next my man. Love all things Dustin Rhodes.
Please make a video on "The rise of Stone Cold Steve Austin". He was the leader of the attitude era and deserves a video tribute.
