Team Cena vs Team Authority - The Story

- That was a fun one! It had such an intense feeling to it. Dolph Ziggler was a made man due to the victory but WWE didn't care to follow up. As evident by the crowd. He got them invested in the match, Every nearfall, Every move. It was definitely one of the best Survivor Series Elimination Matches of all time. In this video, I cover the epic Survivor Series main event pitting Team Cena featuring John Cena himself, Erick Rowan, Ryback, The Big Show and of course Dolph Ziggler against Team Authority featuring Seth Rollins, Corporate Kane, Rusev, Luke Harper and Mark Henry. If Team Cena loses, They're fired(except John). If The Authority loses then they're out of power. If you enjoyed this video then make sure you like, share and subscribe!

Finally bought a new PC and the results are already showing. Had it been on my other computer. I would've posted like 5 hours later. Anyways, the Survivor Series main event was truly special. It's up there with 2016, 2001 and 2003 for me. Dolph Ziggler felt like a made man, Sting finally debuted and it was kinda the culmination of the Authority. What's there to dislike? What did you think of this match?
It was amazing match with great emotional storytelling. Dolph was the MVP of the match. I wish they would had let him stay in the main event scene after that incredible performance
The match was really great
It was great, I watched it live and I felt the goosebumps the whole match. I had this gut feeling secretly that when it was down to 3-1 that Ziggler would pull off an insane comeback. Wish a major push came from it.
Stfu 2014 and 2016 aren't even close to 2001 and 2003
2001, 2003, 2004, and 2005 > 2014 and 2016
This match was awesome and I remember the buildup to this match. I also laughed at the look on Triple H’s face when Sting came out 😂;
It's really such a shame Ziggler wasn't used properly after this. This was one of the best chances to do that.
U mean it was the best , cuz when he chashes in i mean there was better champions than him but when he clutched that autorithy thing it wad the best occasion
@@visheshbhargava4291 eheh i would’ve loved to see miz cash in roman and drew mcintyre at the same time and be the first to have both champions
Well, now Nic is in TNA.
One of the most memorable Survivor Series matches in history. It had great storytelling and the amazing debut of Sting. This was also one of Dolph Ziggler's greatest performances of his career. He truly was the star of this match. Classic match
The Authority was at its highest peak at this time
In terms of kayfabe power, or quality television?
@@roostermcscratch9060 I'd assume he means kayfabe power, because I remember at that time it felt like they'd be in control forever and they always ruined the outcome of Raw and sometimes Smackdown.
Nah when they was beating up daniel bryan's ass every week, that was their peak
This match just left you in shock. Sting made his debut Dolph was the MVP of this match
Sting was the nuke lol
What does dolph ziggler and lebron james have in common.
-both athletes
-both from ohio
-both overcome 3-1 deficits
Both cry and always blame others
@@codyshoemaker1536 I haven't heard about ziggler doing that
both are the goat
I actually kinda miss the Authority stuff nowadays. Back then I thought it was annoying and tiresome. Now I realize that those storylines were pretty epic despite being so tiresome.
I agree 100% I missed them too and Seth Rollins I think now compared to 2014 when I hated him was a asshole of a heel.
The authority had high impact when they were in control
Honestly the storyline in general didn't have a good pay off because The Authority returned a month later and everyone on team Cena were "fired" anyway except for John Cena himself and Big Show
Ziggler should’ve been pushed to the moon as a main eventer after this 🤦🏿♂️
Another missed opportunity.
This is personally one of my favorite survivor series matches of all time. The stakes were there and they were big, the match was enjoyable to watch, dolph ziggler had one of the greatest performances in survivor series history, and STING of all people made his debut in this match. This match will always be near and dear in my heart. Great video wrestlingpremier
This is when as a kid my love for wrestling was at a all time high, Back when I thought wrestling was real the hate I had for The Authority was unreal and I remember being on the edge of my seat in tears when Cena got eliminated thinking that they would be gone forever!
I missed the Authority storyline from 2013-ish to 2016 and this Heel version of Seth Rollins I hated it back than but now years later I realized it was good and I freaky miss it tooo much anyone agree or disagree with me.
I was in high school during the Authority storyline. I remember it like it was yesterday.
The wrestlers in the match made me think it would be underwhelming, but the match was incredible. Top 5 all time SS matches for me
It did seem like a 3 star match or something but they surpassed expectations and then some.
This is my favorite match ever, 2014 was such an entertaining year for the WWE, this, the rise of NXT, Daniel Bryan, Ambrose vs Rollins, Rusev, IC Title picture was fire, Entire MITB PPV, Cesaro’s little push
This was also the time Big Show turned heel for the 100000000000000th time.
Survivor Series 2014 was amazing. Ziggler was the sole survivor of that match, Sting made his debut after so long, and the crowd was satisfied when Team Cena beat the Authority.
So many memorable and entertaining moments in this match. I enjoyed all of it. One of my favorite Survivor series matches.
That was the night I became a huge fan of Dolph Ziggler!
everytime i think of the authority storyline, i think about how amazing cm punk would have been as the centerpiece of it instead of leaving 6 months after it started
Are we not gonna talk about how Seth Rollins was down for 5 minutes and didn’t kick out from the final pinfall? The Zig Zag was much more deadly than Triple H’s Pedigree from Wrestlemania 19.
survivor series was a prime example why Dolph is world title worthy or a main eventer and completely buried him not even a month later
For big show to be the "largest athlete in the world" he has never been the leader of his own stable. He was always a lackey
Wow! Instead of eating dinner while watching WrestlingsPremier. Now we're eating lunch while watching WrestlingsPremier. Nice!
I love it, Dolph got a good push & the man who said he'd never join wwe bcuz how he saw every1 else go out .. finally brought ppl dream to reality
"Ziggler got his ass beat" made me laugh extremely hard
The Authority Storyline was great and this was the climax of it.
yeah the whole authority thing it kind of reminds you of that whole "mcmahon helmsley era" in the late 90's and early 2000's when triple h and stephanie mcmahon ruled both "raw" and "smackdown" with an "iron fist." but when they became "the authority" though the authority is/was actually worse because triple h and stephanie had all the power and complete control of both shows "raw" and "smackdown." they also had complete control of all of the wwe.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Team Cena vs Team Authority was one of the best Survivor Series 5 on 5 matches ever and Sting debut for WWE was shocking.
It was epic and I loved the match
When sting came out I was like wtf I was screaming on the inside like omfg that was the most dopest n surprised moments in Suvivior series history beside the 97 one
this was a survivor series we will never forget anyway after this the 2015 one sucked to me
Survivor Series sucked after 2009
@@jrod132 honestly liked the 2009 edition, 2010 sucked, 2011 was alright, 2012 was good, 2013 sucked, 2014 was awesome, 2015 sucked, 2016 was awesome, 2017 was alright, 2018 sucked by DB vs BL was the best match, and 2019 was awesome.
@@BigRion16 I only reason I like 2009 and never liked the last decade is because the horrible product, bad writing, and the talent sucks. 2009 was the last I cared because the stars I watched were slowly going away and becoming part timers
Next to 2016, the is the Best Survivor Series elimination match of the Modern Era
When I first saw this, back in 2014, I though it was legendary, amazing 😌
This match could've (somewhat) changed WWE had they booked the storylines following this the "right" way. DZ never got the chance he truly deserved bc he'll almost always be looked at as a Shawn Michaels knockoff
This storyline is one of my favorite of the pg era, miss this WWE
In 2014 I was able to watch this match. Now at the time I loved TNA and my all time favorite was Sting. And when he made his debut. I fucking popped. I was so hyped. I was literally bouncing up and down in my bedroom.
The authority blew a 3-1 lead before it was cool to blow a 3-1 lead
These were some great times, it was one of the most decent storylines that WWE did in awhile. I remember the day before this event I read that Sting would show up but I didn't believe it. A lot of talents got to shine during this and it was fun overall.
One of the best Storylines in WWE history.
Well I just found this channel and I love it! 🔥🔥
This was the first pay per view I ever went to, and in my opinion this was one of the best years of wrestling in the post 2010-era.
This is my second favorite survivor series match of all time and i loved this match it also won match of the year in 2014 and made me a even bigger ziggler, ryback and rowan fan also sting
What about a video on Big Show after his betrayal to Team Cena!?
John joining the Authority woulda been plot twist of the decade
Watching Brodie in this video shows that he is amazing, and the Exalted One. RIP Brodie Lee
You should do Tajiri's Career next!
It's in the card. I felt he was pretty overlooked by WWE.
@@wrestlingspremier What do you mean by the "Card"?
Sorry, cards. It's on my mind
Fam Ziggler was so over at this time! Really wished he was properly used and kept his Momentum going
You guys have any episode suggestions for Raw, SD, Thunder, Nitro, IMPACT that were stupid, awesome or featured something that caught your eye?
WrestlingsPremier do The Shield 2018 run.
The TNA episode when the Mafia took control
You know Dolph starting puttin on good matches and stories imo when he 1st won Money In The Bank
Back with another banger🐐🔥
I would love to see you cover the invasion storyline some day.
This match perfectly showed how great dolph Ziggler is it should’ve been what elevated him to the main event
This made me fall in love with wrestling when I first started watching
This and 2016 are my 2 favorite survivor series ppvs
I miss dolph ziggler being good so much man
Honestly, when The Authority was dominating, it was probably the worst time period for WWE in the 10’s
It got old as time went on. 40 percent of the show was centered around them and neither HHH or Stephanie got much comeuppance from the babyfaces.
@@wrestlingspremier especially Stephanie lol
That show was made by this one match
Team cena vs team authority
So many twists and turns
Cena being eliminated so early shocked the hell out of me
Dolph was a bonified star so sad wwe didn't push him
And sting's debut just made this match even more memorable
Ahhhh 2014 one of my prime time of being a WWE fan
U should make a video about the reformation of Evolution in 2014
You made a video on my fav match EVER!!
Wish Stefeminist Mcmahon and Noseman H were out of power for real.
Awesome Match 🔥🥶
Amazing Performance by Dolph 💯
What’s sup wrestling premier are you going to watch Survivor Series (I’m pretty sure you will) but if you do can you make a video of it?
Yeah for sure. I'll hopefully post a video about it on Monday.
@@wrestlingspremier ok 👍
I always think Ziggler only got that opportunity to go 3 on 1 because Roman had a hernia at the time
Unfortunately I haven't been able to catch this match, because it happened around the time I stopped watching, but it seems like I need to soon.
Dolph Ziggler is so high at the time!
Can you make a video on Kofi Kingston's WWE title reign? A lot of people say it was shit, but I think it was a decent run, especially for someone who you knew they never were going to book as the guy.
Imo Ziggler shouldve been pushed to the moon after this event
2014 was a good year for wwe no lie
Do I hear a song in the background?😂i think it’s from Pokémon heart gold and soul silver😂
Wasn’t Roman Reigns supposed to be in the role of Dolph? I mean the way they booked Roman in 14-16 they made him look OP and they basically made Dolph win after being 3-1 down, with the help of Sting ofc.
The Era Of The Authority Was All Domination Fr Cant Lie But That Survivor Series Match Changed Everything For The Authority & Ziggler Was The MVP Of Team Cena
Welp, at least least Ziggler had that great ladder match with Harper at the following PPV, but after that it was a complete nosedive.
I genuinely miss this era, i miss architect seth, and triple h just being so good to hate
I was really invested at this story
This is in my top three favorite 5v5 Survivor Series matches. Probably second.
Wrestlingpremier guy: at 4:05 seconds and JBL sucking up to the mcmahon's on Commentary hahaha hehe. me: well uh he ain't wrong. hahaha hehe
I love John cena ♥❤
❤❤❤same 🥹
Dolph channeling his inner Shawn Michaels
Dolph should've been given the title after this.
I remember watching this it gave me goosebumps
Never understood why they didn't turn Dolph into a baby face star after this, he was huge
After was sheamus taken out he was never the same again
wasnt this the last time we seen orange hair sheamus before he returned with a mohawk? i thought he got actually injured and not jus for storyline ..
I love the authority I like the match and the debut of sting but it is bullshit that WWE did not capitalize the momentum of Dolph Ziggler
Top 3 favorite match I’ve ever watched
Please send me the link of first photo in this video where all beating ryback
1. This storyline was pointless since Authority came back into power.
2. They pushed Ziggler just to bury him again smh 🤦🏽♂️
I feel like Rowan should’ve been at least a mid card guy with Harper becoming main event like Rowan isn’t that bad like with his run with Daniel Bryan and as for Harper he was just amazing
This is my favorite survivor series match
Wrestling Premier is best for business
as a Ziggler fan boy at the time I was so excited but it never went anywhere
I really loved this
And now Sting is on AEW!
Aww man Ziegler should have gotten a push have him win the Royal Rumble 2005 .. only for Rollins to cash in on him
They ask why i love dolph ziggler🤦🏽♂️
Yo is the Mandela effect involved with this because I remember team authority winning and all of team cena getting fired
Your high 😂😂
now they got him being jobbed to otis and other guys on the roster wwe is damaging ziggler
John Cena did right things 👏
I wish Sheamus was on the team instead of Show or Rowan, but i wouldn’t change a thing when it comes to Dolph being sole survivor.
