Evolution is one of the most important factions of all time. It was easy to hate them. It helped made Triple H gained even more heel heat while Flair got his groove back and turned Orton and Batista into household name plus they had an iconic theme song as well. Evolution was an unstoppable force that changed WWE forever.
The evolution is definitely one of the greatest factions in wrestling history, Their theme, Their entrance, Their presence. It also changed Randy orton and Batista's carrer as they both became a really huge stars in the company.
Think this was from an MJF interview, but Evolution is one of the best examples of how HHH managed to make new stars. Sure there's burial examples, like the 5 minute long pin on Booker T was pretty awful. But HHH made a lot more stars than he buried

Wow! Great video! Evolution's rise is one of the biggest highlights of the Ruthless Aggression Era. Even though they got off to a rocky start, they were able to find their footing towards the end of 2003 and into 2004. I know that 2003 Raw often brings to mind Triple H's Reign of Terror, but seeing the likes of Orton and Batista rise to prominence is a positive in my opinion.
Evolution was such a good faction. Unlike most faction it did it's job with getting everyone in it over. It made orton and batista stars and brought back the version of Ric Flair everyone missed. Also a lot of Triple H's matches at this time were really good too. Looking back and knowing what evolution's whole purpose was, making orton and batista stars, It makes Triple H's world title runs at that time a lot better.

In 2003 I was six believing Booker t was winning at Wrestlemania 19 he had all the momentum and the build up told a good story as well but back in the early 2,000's wwe refuse to let wcw guys go over wwe guys.

So he booked HHH to go over most of the ecw and wcw guys (Rvd, Steiner, Booker, Nash); and Goldberg was booked to go over the WWE made guys (Rock, Y2J (before you say he was in in WcW too. In a way the faction benefited all 4 men. HHH became one of the greatest in ring workers and one of the greatest world champions. Ric Flair became more goated for 6 more years. We already know about Randy & Batista as they became 2 of the biggest stars of the RA Era and future hall of famers.
H was already those things. Now he was just adding on to his goat status. Not only could he elevate guys (98-00 Rock, 00 Y2J & Benoit), he was showing he also reinvigorate old stars (00-02 Undertaker & 02-05 Flair), and literally build stars from the ground up (Orton, Batista). But because he had the size Vince liked and a amateur background (albeit no where near Kurt's level though), as bland as he is, with Heyman's help, he got the super push. There was no automatic "they were gonna push Cena or Batista." They weren't providing any "IT factor" to him in their current state. Vince wanted Jindrak in once he warmed up to the idea of a group again. But he was never supposed to be in.

Triple H as a face is comedic and mid at best. But he shines as a heel because his top guy villain act is something special and truly one of best, that carried the company at tough and uncentain times after the Attitude era and made new stars like Batista and Randy Orton.
