- Every now and then the ugly stik pops out. Beautiful day the airfield and Andre brought the stik. It is a great plane that flies well and gives you enough nerves when you start trowing some moves with it. And Andre is also a proud supporter. 😍

Is it Stik or Stick. Confused.. greatplanes calls it a Stik. But all of you calls it a stick 🤣🤣🤣
@@ArcticRc It's both! If you buy it from GP it's a Stik. If you build it yourself (from scratch) it's a Stick :-)
I picked one up myself from an estate sale the other week. Planning on sending it up tomorrow afternoon. Bit bittersweet to be flying a model that belonged to a former well-regarded clubmate but I think he'd prefer it to be in the hands of another flyer and to have air under its wings again.
Gonna be fun flying it at the memorial flyin for him next month.
Mine has a Super Tiger G60 Bluehead on it. Got a ground runup video or two uploaded on my channel.
This was my first RC aircraft that I learned to fly back when I was 19 yers old , my dads friend bought it for me for my birthday & I never expected him to , it was a big shock to me . His neighbor across the street had a big RC airfield & they would fly RC aircraft all the time , 56 inch wingspan & the engine that was on it made this thing super fast . Since then I got into anything RC cars boats etc but now mostly drones & now I build drones for work mostly heavy lifting drones in excess of 160 lbs & up so I can help work crews get stuff into small areas with out using cranes because cranes are money . I also use them for inspecting buildings & bridges for my city . I do some cinematography also . With a 107 pilots licenses you can do a lot of stuff that you can’t do as a average person with drones or any RC aircraft my favorite & fun to fly drones are DJIs anyone can learn how to fly them even a 4 year old & their way easy to fly right out of the box .

my opinion is that Stick is some of the best plane you can fly no matter what level you are at. The fact that it does not have cowling makes everything with the engine so much easier. The only thing I do not like about GP's version is that it has the white fields with iron crosses on the top and bottom of the wing.
