I've loved Roy Wood for over 40 years. I once met Wizzard at a taxi rank in Leeds, on their way to a gig at the uni that night. I had my autograph book with me, in preparation for the big event. I asked Roy to sign it and when he had, he passed it to the rest of the guys to sign too. I thought then and I still do, what a lovely man! You're a true gentleman Roy and a national treasure x
Roy was my favourite hero since my youth until now!!!!!!! Move, ELO, Wizzard or himself solo: very great songs for eternity!!!! Love him forever......Thank's for your perfomance!!!!!!!!!!
Before Simon Cowell kidnapped christmas.Great records like this were what christmas was all about. This one and Slade our still played at every christmas party.Brilliant
I completely agree with you Jolly! I just love his musical genius from the first time I heard him when I was 16 years of age.His songs ring in my head.Anytime that I play his songs at a party, others always comment on their love of his music! I would love to meet him!
The first 7" vinyl single I bought was "Angel fingers" on Harvest in 1973 for 47p, I ended up buying most of the records by this genius. This is a great vid clip, thanks for posting, it sure gives me the same vibe as I got when I was a kid.
My new found discovery, to see this genius and smile once again. Thx for posting this vid, Roy Wood is a wizzard, he has a natural talent everyone can see. You won't see many people such as Roy in a lifetime, a true entertainer. Thanks once again
I saw Wizard in the Mayfare Newcastle when they first hit it big, they were incredible live and it is a very happy memory, we didnt know it at the time but seeing the man who wrote the greatest Christmas song ever and the actual band doing it live is something like watching the Beatles on that rook lol
noddy holder and roy wood, two legends of christmas pop

There's a brilliant mash-up with this song and 'Wombling Merry Christmas.' Everyone hates it but I think it's a classic and play it every Xmas.
I love wizzard they where always outrageous and mental
The best Christmas song ever .
It's tragic that Wizzard, including this super song, never got any air play in the NYC/Philadelphia radio markets.
bernard cribbings had some hit singles too 1 OF HIS HITS WAS "RIGHT SAID FRED . "

WTF?
Does anyone who narrated this? It sounds like Bernard Cribbins, or was it James Bolam? I'm not too sure.
Sounds like Noddy to me!
It's Bernard Cribbins.
is it just me or does Rick Price look like meatloaf after losing about 10 stone?
