- WOW! What a day! We started with a zodiac excursion with Ventures by Seabourn through the Inian Islands. We saw lots of wildlife, amazing scenery, and really felt like we were IN Alaska! This is an excursion we will remember for the rest of our lives!
Once back on this ship we did some relaxing until we got to Icy Strait Point where we walked around, explored the cannery and shops, had a quick snack before heading back to the ship.
The day ended with the most amazing Alaskan sunset at sea from the verandah. Gosh, this day was just about perfect!

Great job guys! Water excursion, popcorn, puzzles and dress up to fine dining and relaxing with a sunset from your own private deck! You also both look so nice in your formal wear.

That sunset was amazing… also those gondolas look like the skyliners at WDW. Thanks for taking us along on this adventure. We are about 42 days until we come to Alaska and hope we get some sunny days too.
Hi, love your videos. To answer your question, we did the Wildlife and Whale Watching in Icy Strait Point last June and it was the best whale watching I've ever had. We saw a momma bear with a cub, eagles, sea lions, sea otters, porpoises and more whales that you can imagine. We were surrounded by whales. No matter where we went we were surrounded again. It was amazing. Also the boat we took was really nice. Enough seating inside for everyone. When we got to a spot for viewing they would stop the boat and there was enough space on deck for all guests to view the wildlife. If your get a chance to do this tour, don't miss it. It's not cheap but worth every penny.
We enjoyed our day in Icy Strait Point. Our family did the adventure course and had lots of fun seeing the various parts of the island. The gondolas reminded us of the Skyliner at Disney World.

Icy straight point was kinda fascinating to me... It seems like the Alaska cruise equivalent of the private island sort of day you get on Caribbean cruises like coco Cay, castaway Cay, princess Cay etc.

I loved going to icy straight last year. We had a great whale watching excursion with a local family. But as we got back on the ship three orca swam by the ship

I have been thinking of a way to express my joy watching your cruise videos each morning from your adventures the day before :). I am going to be sad when you post the last Video :(. We did this trip 12 months ago and it was amazing. In the town we were lucky to see a mother bear and two cubs on the riverbed. So many memories.

Just switched our port adventure in Icy Straight Point from a whale cruise to the Birds of Hoonah! I was really curious about that excursion when we initially looked and now I’m even more excited than I was about the whale cruise!

I had to google what a group of pandas calls and it called an embarrassment which I think is weird since pandas are so cute both the black &white and the red ones. I'm glad you both enjoyed the boat ride. 🙂

I can tell you about the People Mover, the Fur Rondy, and Potters Marsh, but I have never seen the places you are showing on this trip. I would love to take an Alaskan cruise and see these places.
Adam, What camera are you using as you walk around the ship and out and about? Do you carry multiple cameras? Your camera work is very impressive. The zoom work is impressive. I’m headed to Alaska in July and of course am an amateur that wants to capture everything. Ok I know I can’t capture everything, but your recommendation on a camera that is lightweight. We filmed exclusively on the Canon G5X. It’s a small little point and shoot camera that does great for photos and video. We love that It’s not too big and gets us a great product.

Hi! We didn’t, fortunately! However, Sherri does wear a prescription motion sickness patch that really helps

Gosh, they came from all over. Everywhere from being thrifted, torrid, Burlington, JCPenney, and maybe even other places. The shawls came from Amazon!
