Great upload, Great Racers, Great Memories. When people talk of motor racing legends, everyone forgets about these guys, in there time they were as legendary, as today's racers. Thanks for sharing this,,,,,Regards Mark
Got loads of old black and white photos of my dad racing at Warton stock car club in the 70s... Very cool video this reminds me of my childhood !!! Cheers !!!
Yes that was me on the opening stock car scenes. I have wonderful memories of working with Robin. No, I'm not the Rob McCaffery who worked for Sky and Granada.
Hi, do you have the full length clip of the fight at Ipswich in the video "Crash Attack - Stock Cars & Rallycross - Part 1"It's 6:20 into the video My dad is on the track scrapping lol
5:10. Window nets. Any questions? Minimum 8 point roll cage (keeping it from "fire wall to fire wall" if you want to keep characteristics of a "stock" car), wouldn't hurt either.
***** I know the European racers ego took a while to overcome. There weren't seat belts in LeMans cars until the 70's if I remember correctly. Mostly due to the "LeMans Start". You'd notice in the old days, North American drivers would be last off the line because they were buckling up.
Yes and it used to annoy me cos you couldn't hear the commentators properly and I wanted to know who the drivers were! Now I can, and thank you so much!

Wow. I have the VHS of Crash Attack at home. Loved it as a child
Rally cross was an insane sport to watch.
This is the most best rally sport racing and rather than those Nascar and F1 fighting over which is the best

Love the footage from Mondello at the end!
Good video. Guess TR7s were fairly common back then but felt bad watching it go off track.
10:39
A textbook example of snap oversteer
Is this from CRASH ATTACK on VHS? I remember watching them as a kid
Yes it sure is, I had that VHS tape when I was 3
Can you make part 3?
yes, but there were copyright issues.

5:00 his arm was broke from the impact. What a completely different world it was back then.
His HEAD was broken from the impact! That was a horrible crash. And if you watch the car behind him, he took a massive shot also.
BriSCA F1's look so much more entertaining then to now days

But how old is that clip? It doesn't seem so old that there weren't window nets. Those came in, in the 70's.

@@DDS029 window nets were much later than 70's for many formula. Ministox didn't get them until the 1990
Ha ha, at 9.12 we see some poetic justice.
10:47 y did it have to be the cool looking car
Didn't this have music in the background ? I remember having the vhs when I was a kid :)

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT KIND OF DUNE BUGGIES ARE SHOWN IN THE BEGINNING?!?!? (in other words, the long nosed+no spoiler buggies. around 01:08)
I have a feeling it's a British styled buggy, But I can't find it anywhere on the internet, I mean, I'd love to buy one to go off-roading in.
+Classic System Racer Formula 1 Stock Cars

5:10 did he die?
+karelpipa No, he just broke his arm (you can see how the car crushes his arm) and he was ok but need to stay some days in the hospital
