Oh, the memories! I was there '86-'91. Spent many a night on those barstools. I learned to play pool there. Quick story - One night, as on many other nights, I had taken a few too many shots. I stumbled to the restroom, and saw a whole line of people washing their hands. I'd never seen so many people, at the Crossroads RR, washing their hands all at once. I stood there gaping for a while and finally realized...those are urinals. I'm in the men's room!
Worked as Doorman/Bouncer in '81-'82. Was a fantastic place to work and drink. Bill Sharod (sp) owned it at the time. His brother Chris managed the bar at that time. I loved that place. Thank you for posting this. Became friends with SRV and Double Trouble over the 5 times they played while I was there.
I saw Stevie Ray Vaughn play there twice before he hit the big time...sat about 30 feet away from while he played. I also used to DJ there for a brief stint...
Many great Friday afternoons there in the '80s drinking warm beer for $1.25/ pitcher. Would not trade those memories for anything. Then walking /stumbling back to The Zoo to hit BJ's or Cotton Eyed Joe's

From 85-90, I took up residency in the beer garden. My 2nd home.
Thanks for posting. I graduated in 1993 and the video brought back a lot of good memories!
Cool. Let do it. We’ll work it out on Thursday
Missed SRV there but saw Eric Johnson.
