Raven has a tremendous mind for professional wrestling. His creative take on matches and such was fantastic. His personality was often misunderstood. I enjoy listening to him talk wrestling, personally.

Shane vs blackman, unforgiven 2000. Vengeance 2001. Al snow vs road dogg(in the snow,). Mankind vs big boss man ladder match. I can keep going.

I love listening to stars talk about their time in wrestling with someone who respects them and isn't trying to embarrass anyone. The YouShoot series is tasteless and disrespectful to the business. The guy doing those interviews tries to get everyone to talk about what so-and-so is like in bed; how big their dicks are; and outing people who use drugs. THIS interview series is great and I'm going to check out more of it. The interviewer seems to genuinely respect the people he's talking to. The guy's talented and very focused. A+

Raven was one of the coolest characters in the game. WWE really blew it because that was really a gimmick that got over everywhere else. It was used greatly in ECW of course, but WCW and Raven's Flock was a cool stable that they underused there I thought, and WWE just totally dropped that gimmick. Raven is 1 of the best of all time for a lot of reasons. His WCW theme... one of the top 10 themes EVER, his unique gimmick was so different from anything else in the history of the business, thats 100% top 10 too. And he's one of the only guys to win championships in all 4 core promotions in the USA that existed during his career, WCW, ECW, WWF/E, and TNA.
It's a crying shame because this guy was so talented. His rivalry with DDP for the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship was easily one of my top 5 favorite feuds of the Monday Night Wars era. I'm not saying he should've won the WWE championship, but he should've at worst been a multi time Intercontinental Champion and always in contention for the main title but never winning it ala Roddy Piper or Jake Roberts.
I agree, but I like his feud with Benoit even better than the DDP one. Also, I think he should have been WCW WH champion. WCW has been (rightly) criticised for keeping old guys at the top of the card whilst not pushing the younger ones....well I think Raven should have been higher up the card.

Some time back,I met Raven and Hak, at Stewart's Gym in Murraysville Pa..they were working out in the afternoon on their way to the Palumbo Center in Pittsburgh for a show that night...Raven was cool...Hak was sorta in chatacter....there was a Smith machine that had a starting weight fo about 75 pounds with no plates on the bar, Raven was wondering why everything felt so heavy to him until I told him about the extra weight attached to the bar..lol...this was the pre GPS era and I gave them directions to the arena which was about 20 miles away...it was a cool day, and I enjoyed watching Raven from then on when I could...

Some time back,I met Raven and Hak, at Stewart's Gym in Murraysville Pa..they were working out in the afternoon on their way to the Palumbo Center in Pittsburgh for a show that night...Raven was cool...Hak was sorta in chatacter....there was a Smith machine that had a starting weight fo about 75 pounds with no plates on the bar, Raven was wondering why everything felt so heavy to him until I told him about the extra weight attached to the bar..lol...this was the pre GPS era and I gave them directions to the arena which was about 20 miles away...it was a cool day, and I enjoyed watching Raven from then on when I could...
