How the songs flow into each other and how the album flows all together is amazing. Vampire in the Corner into Watching TV is basically one song to me now.
Matt (from the duo) is on bass and guitar in addition to the production/backend work! He plays both instruments + some synth/keyboard live during concerts. Busy man!
I know I said it last video but I mean it when I say Christmas came early! This is in my top 3 favorite albums this year being among Geordie Greep’s and Peggy’s.
Appreciate the continued support! I'll be doing a top 5 or 10 albums of the year pretty soon (I'm keeping it small since I've spent more time listening to classics this year) but it's going to be hard to decide the Album of the Year for me. A few contenders for sure
You should listen to LCD Soundsystem's Sound of Silver if you're not already familiar! Another dancey electronic indie album that is absolutely amazing.

Death and Romance & Fear, Sex also transition beautifully
Their MV is the same indeed
Easily one of the the best albums of 2024.
I thought it was fairly good 3/5 but didn't get the hype I guess
It is a masterpiece in musical progression.
This is easily my AOTY the production is just truly unbelievable
I love when ppl notice the prog elements because mica and matt used to be in a prog rock band a while haha
Makes sense. You can definitely hear it in the instrumentals throughout this LP

The DHMIS reference for That’s My Floor is actually genius because the music video totally gives DHMIS vibes!

ngl I did not pick up on that DHMIS melody in 'thats my floor' but now I will never unhear it!
Idk how my brain made the connection so quickly but I have watched the series several times (and 3 is my favourite which makes even more sense)
i mean, have you seen the 'that's my floor' mv? could've been a dhmis reference

She does Keytar!
