- July Internationals | Australia v England - Third Test Highlights
The class of England proved too much for a gritty Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday night, as the tourists clinched a 2-1 come-from-behind series victory.

Shame our passing wasn't
Tell me about it Boss

Lawes really has been immense
Steward is so good. Such a skilled finisher
he's not particularly sick but he's such a good finisher close to the line
"Idk why you're here, you're not the captain" 😭
Bit weird from the ref, he only just got off the ground lol

So sad, we really wanted an Aussie win! However, well done England; well played!

A quality game of rugby and deserved English win. The ref was excellent and for once not constant idiot chatter from the TMO - the way rugby should be - would've enjoyed it more if the Aussies had won though :)
Shame the TMO wasn't paying attention to the forward passes, really.
@@linalmeemow TMO missed a couple fo forward passes from both sides as well as a english lineout not in straight. But better a game flow.
@@matthewsilvester8684 Aussie forward passes were in the scoring play though, that's the difference.
@@linalmeemow and the lineout not straight was in the English score? you cannot be seriously thinking the reffing was poor? after the previous two weeks of TMO idiocy destroying the game
@@matthewsilvester8684 Balance went too far the other way this week, TMO didn't get involved at all when they needed to.
3:46 is schoolboy tier rugby by the wallabies.
How many teams can turn their own lineout at the halfway mark into conceding a try.
Agreed, these are full time professionals. They can’t be getting the basics like that wrong. Made for an entertaining try anyway
Can't see the Aussies beating England for the next 10 years. So many young England stars coming through, so much strength in depth.
I was not able to believe my eyes when I saw all these future English stars loosing by 40 points in front of 14 Barbarians. 😂😂😂
@Don Milliken.
Didn't the wallabies beat England in the 1st test?
@@7perry They did indeed...for the first time in 7 years! I think it could be another 10 before the next win.

Great camera view for that first Australian try 👍

To take that pass running full speed and than to pass it back in the direction you got in within a split second is something else.
“England wins decider at SCG”
Not something we’re used to reading 😂
1:04 Whoa
A well composed England outfit indeed, no wonder the Wallabies just couldn't find the winner being totally shut out.
Hardly, when Australia actually got the ball and ran they were the far better side. Their set pieces were better. Just silly errors and mistakes cost them the game. Nothing more to it really, England definitely didn’t play a great game either
@@MaCcAM40a3 the wallabies always look better than England when they run the ball - 2016 is a perfect example. Unfortunately, this doesn't win games because England are brutal in the breakdown and punish when they need to.
@@ruigen8046 I didn’t even feel England were better in the breakdown, we handed them the game

@@MaCcAM40a3 Tell us you don't watch much rugby without actually telling us... Jeez dude, the better team won. If Aus were better in the breakdown and better with ball in hand, they would've won, it's really quite simple. Show some damn graciousness in defeat.
Lot of forward passes from Australia
Our passing was disgraceful....... Many passes at players faces or slightly behind the players such that they had to check runs. Even if they just sorted that garbage out, it would probably be worth quite a few points

Aussie penalty no 8 at 4:51 tackling the man without the ball which Aus scored a try right after. fitting result
Well done lads
I don't support either side but this has to he said...Marcus Smith is good but he has to act a little more professional. He is already a marked player in every game, he must now show composure
He's young. He'll grow
What are you talking about? Are you mad because he was happy about scoring a try?
It wasn't Wimbledon.
Yeah, because scoring a 50 meter run try isn't composed, completely agree with you........🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
Fool!
Nice lads. Trappy oz back in the box.
Che bella partita
What a try by smith. Up the England
England were in much better physical shape. Their nutrition showed here. Credit must go to the nutritionists for this win. Beans & Toast plus fish & chips is rich in calories. England had the superior nutrition.
Nothing wrong with your drinking 🤣
Plus a few firkins of Pale Ale (Timothy Taylors Landlord probably) - the Ozzies were lucky it wasn't the British Winter - they don't like an Imperial Stout up 'em.
Where was Owen Farrell when the Trophy got lifted?
" Your not the captain so go away" 😂
I would start with those 8 minute build up before game even begins! Its a rugby match not political broadcast. England were doing something similar last year, kept loosing, stopped, started to win.
The Woke infiltrate everything, they don't want you to just relax and enjoy sport...... they have to constantly ram that NWO woke post modernist BS down your throat. doesn't matter what sport, they're there fkn ruining it. Thankfully the NRL has escaped most of it. For now. I've pretty much tuned out of F1 these days because of the ceaseless woke lectures. I'll be attending the RLWC in the UK in October and the RFU WC in France next year, i guess we'll see if they ruin that too.

Go Pumas!🇦🇷
The only time I cheer for the england team when they beat the wallobs
I think if Australia could care a bit less about footie, and focus a bit on rugby, and not leave at the back of the cupboard, then they could be number 1.
Footie in Australia has suffered since Union went professional. Juniors tend to head toward Union far more now than when it was an amateur sport as players can earn more playing professional Union than they do Footie. Sure, Tristan Reilly just signed a Train and Trial deal with Wests Tigers but how often do players switch codes from Union over to footie?
Southern hemispheres getting knocked around.
Well played England
Once a legend said: " we are here to dominate them" 😂😂😂
40% win rate Rennie
Rassie started the same with the Boks..
Don’t diss a good coach..
Even the all blacks would have Dave Rennie as coach but politics and an old system chose Ian Foster. A missed opportunity there.
@@jandreneethling5664 A good coach wouldn't have a 40% win rate in his 3rd year. At least Rassie was south african coaching a south african team. Rennie is a kiwi, he's applying what works in New Zealand super rugby level to the wallabies and it aint going well.
Who are the commentators and are they Aussie or kiwi?

NZ ABs v Paddies 3rd Test highlights 17 mins long, superb rugby.
Straya v Pohms 3rd test highlights 7 mins long.
Says it all really. This England side is a shadow of the one that defeated the ABs in the semi. But they're improving. Both these sides have a long way to go if they're making RWC finals next year
This is what happens when you stop playing against South African teams.
😂😂😂 Australia hadn’t beaten England since 2015 before the 1st test of this series. What are you smoking? 😂😂😂
0:56 how far in front of the line can he stand without getting called. Blatent cheating...........
His heels are on the line, which is all that is required.
@@bnations2000 I just checked the laws, players aren't even allowed to touch the line, the law requires them to be outside the field of play.
@@cringewithit Touching the line puts you outside the field of play. For example, a player trying to score whose foot touches the line is considered outside the field of play at that point.
@@bnations2000yep, that's a fair point actually, I think I'm wrong on this one
@@cringewithit It does look weird, though. No doubt about that.
Even though Eddie wins a lot their decision to just take penalty kicks really makes it boring to watch.
Here's a thought - if Australia don't want to lose by penalty kicks they could try not infringing within kicking range. Trouble is they'd have to allow England far more attacking opportunities, so then they'd lose by a greater margin and you'd have that to moan about instead.
@@linalmeemow I’m not moaning I’m just stating a fact. In matches where England have been winning by over 8 points they constantly kick for penalties and it’s boring. If you read I actually pointed out that England does win a lot because of this I was just making an observation dummy. Also I don’t support either side, just watching the highlights.
@@dontcare5998 You're absolutely moaning, complaining about England being boring. Kicking to take yourself more than one score ahead of your opponent is good game management, don't you understand how rugby works?

You’re smoking something if you are incapable of understanding that the OP was suggesting that England might peak at the time of the World Cup, not that they are peaking right now. 😂😂😂
Wait owen Farrell is no longer Englands captain....???
Nope, he was out with injury for a while and the captaincy was given to Lawes.
Lawes got it when Farrell was out with an injury, and they learned that Lawes is much better at talking to the ref without being a whiny prick and annoying the officials, so he kept it when Farrell came back.
Might be a case of learning from Wales too - Farrell, Biggar and Sexton are all gobby and whiny with the referees, but Alun Wyn Jones being captain keeps Biggar from sticking his craw in too often whereas Farrell and Sexton all too often will just carry on...
Didn't watch the game, but thought England should have been carded for that cynical play killing the ball when the Aussies had advantage and we're hot on attack at that breakdown. The SH teams don't do this so well but once advantage is given against you and they are threatening within your 10 m there is no value in allowing play to continue, as advantage will only be over of they score or turnover the ball somehow. Doing it legally is difficult so better to just give away another penalty and hold the ball in the ruck illegally as England cleverly did here and the ref let them go without further punishment. The highlights made it look like Aussie really should have won that but curious to know if that's how the actual game felt too.
You didn't miss much. The Aussies were poor, England not much better. Both teams will need to play a lot better to compete with others
I was at the game. Thought Australia deserved a result, but to be fair England put in a decent shift defence wise. The score is fair though as England just did enough.
Thanks gents. NH defence seem a cut above the SH D
@@gregstevens7112 wrong
To be fair the penalty could have gone either way as the Ozzie player was isolated and vunipola was legitimately competing for the ball. He’s just too fat to get up quickly when the ref wants to give Australia a bit of help
Australia with their south sea Islanders trying to go full macho and with bullying tactics ...But still lost lol
I love this ref "I don't know why you are here, you're not the captain" XD honestly give this man man of the match for that, more interesting watch than any of England XD

Southern hemisphere rugby really struggling. The All blacks, Aussies AND south Africa.
South Africa need more time with their new offensive structures but are not struggling, Aussie players just need more time playing test rugby and the boys in black just need a new gaffer
@@danielsan2507 so they’re struggling lol.
Bit premature. Most sides can beat each other on their day in the modern game. A card either way is changing the face of modern rugby. It's very difficult to predict.
Wouldn't say struggling..
Sth Africa beat Wales and Argentina beat Scotland for the series. Southern Hempishere is still in good shape, the ABs and Wallabies will find their niche come World Cup. Northern hemisphere teams always stumble at World Cup, and it will be no different next year.
England are the only World Cup winners in 2003.
The rest belong to NZ, Aus, Sth Africa
Southern Hemisphere rugby = below average
Lol. SH rugby has dominated for over a hundred years. You think that one set of bad results is going to change that? Having said that I think France and Ireland are playing awesome rugby at the moment. If they can maintain it is even possible that it could be an all northern hemisphere final at the World Cup next year.
