I also own two BMMCCs and I love them, although I found myself to use them less often than I want unfortunately. Meanwhile these accessories were not available, I built my own rigs for them to get them fully usable (one with S-Bus breakout box and one with a simple 4channel PWM switches). I have the BMMCC OG with a Wooden Cage (very minimal but everything you need) and I have been with Cole and AltCine from the beginning. I have one of the first batch of expansion backs and OLPF filters. That and the breakout box that he does not source but mentions, and of course the button mod and a DIY button for record button I made. I used my Blackmagic Video Assist for a monitor and the small rig VB55 to power everything. Oh yes, I have a complete set of Angenieux Lenses with a C to MFT adapter. I also have a set of Meike Cine lenses also. Cole is definitely giving new life to this camera. So under appreciated yet yield amazingly good video. I also have the G2 rigged the same way. I use to own the BMMCC and used it with a Zeiss 10-100 t3.1 and the EF BMPCC speed booster. It was a great little camera, especially after I built a custom grip and breakout box that controlled rec, iso, aperture and WB. I also had a small custom electronic follow focus that plugged into the breakout box that worked with mft and EF lenses. Sadly I sold it during the pandemic. Still have the grip though waiting for the prices to drop on the used market, but they never do.

why use a nice 16mm sensor with stupid clean looking canon FF glass, like every digital camera picture looks like 20 years ago? like, no, just dont do it. there is so much nice 16mm film vintage glass out there, with arri bayonette / PL Mount / c-Mount etc.....
when the OG pocket was new, i bought it and shot a lot of footage with the old Arri Super Speed 16mm lenses i got from film school. it was an awsome look. when using canon foto lenses, its still ok, but there is no point in using a 16mm camera.
