A Ganondorf at Majora level threat, dark story, creepy enemies. Please Nintendo! I was surprised that a kingdom with such tragic ruins wasn't swarmed with ReDeads and Poes.
I want ReDeads, Poes, Playable zelda, the beetle, hookshot(s) and WolfLink. That would be cool. Also maybe throw in Ganondorf increasing in power as the game progresses, from his weakest to WW levels of intellect, magical prowess, and strength.
Heres an idea a much more Powerful Demise comes back with his entire army of demons from the underworld and Ganondorf joins us to put a stop to Demise as Demise is conquering the entire world. Oh And Demise brings back all previous villains from the Zelda series in his ranks from Vaati, Majora, Malladus, Bellum, Dark Links, Agahnim ,Twinrova , Helmaroc King , King Bulblin , Zant , Yuga and more And Ganondorf is like a good ally and itll be a huge twist and We will have the option to play as Link or Zelda omg that would be amazing !!!
- ability to pet dogs - add cats (with ability to carry them like babies like in TP) - armor that increases your speed - armor that allows you to climb while it’s raining
My favorite moment of the game was after you beat the DLC and link hangs the champions picture in his house. His house was such a great touch and i want more with it
About the gear, I think that now you will start with the Master Sword probably and maybe you can even get a shield from the armory or something, but transferring your old gear would be unreasonable because imagine having 70+ attack gear at the beginning of the game.
@@angelbaby3342 What's the point of raising the enemies' attack and health though? A new player would struggle since they can't learn the controls so easily and certainly not play the first game just to enjoy the second.
You guys have too much of a hard on for the Zonai. I'd really hate for how much you guys are obsessed with this civilization to not pay off for you. What if Nintendo doesn't care about them as much as you'd hoped?
I think the Zonai are too big to be a throwaway element. The Lurelin area was huge, and you could play through the whole game and never see it. BOTW 2 was supposed to be DLC until it got too big and became its own thing. I think Nintendo had plans for it that they never put into the original game because they were saving it for what is to become BOTW 2.
^ Besides, Making of a Champion seems to care an awful lot about the Zonai. A suspicious amount of attention is given to them for something that isn't going to be expanded upon in-game
@@innertuber4049 I'd counter that with there was an astonishing lack of information about them in the first game. What between the 1st and the 2nd will suddenly garnish so much information? There's very little reason to believe Nintendo actually cares this much about the Zonai. Sometimes details are just that.. details.. to bring a world alive.
Living Zonai would kind of nullify the entire reason they were interesting in BotW. That reason being, _they're all dead and nothing's left but buildings and clothes._ I think if any Zonai are in this game they're going to be ghosts and flashback characters like the Champions.
Butterfly nets Fishing poles Petting/owning a dog Hookshoot more enemy variants Platforming? More traditional puzzle focused dungeons with enemies a mini boss and a boss and a dungeon item Permanent weapons (some at least) More lore Give us caves!!! Synthesis/ crafting and repair
Owen Bernard the hookshot doesn’t really have a purpose if you can climb anywhere to anything. Asking for platformimg I’m a Zelda game kinda seems like asking for am intricate story in Mario, it’s not necessary for the game.
Playing on too much nostalgia will kill the game. Doing this didn't make certain movies and games better, it cheapened the experience and seemed disingenuous. This had been a disaster for many franchises, please reference but do not rely purely on previous works for content.
but all of these gameplay elements and suggestions have been a staple of the series since ALTTP. It would be sad if they got rid of them forever. Also being realistic breath of the wild does new things for the zelda series but nothing that hasn't been seen in other open world RPG's
Link70dx I was old enough to play through most iterations of the Zelda beginning with the NES through the switch. This game helps reset the idea of adventure and exploration as in the original. I think a better more flesh out story at certain achievements would work, but not the linear gameplay as we see in most Zelda games. Just relying on old elements such as linear gameplay, dungeons, and bosses takes away from what BOTW set in motion; we need to keep that open idea and make your own adventure out of the experience.
@@LinkHylia763 I agree on making your on own adventure and a better fleshed out story but I must disagree on the dungeon and bosses aspect. One of the key ideas even in zelda 1 was having a large variety of dungeons, dungeon themes , enemy's and puzzles sadly breath of the wild lacks that. I think we must have some sort of middle ground on both aspects because we're either gonna keep on getting games as linear as SS or have super open worlds like BoTW . maybe something along the lines of ALBW?
Link70dx Zelda 1 didn’t have a large variety of dungeons or puzzles lmfao what are you smoking? I guess you can say each boss was different but nothing more lol
Dude this is the Nintendo Switch we're talking about... If the first could barely run 30 fps 1080p then the pro version will have to be much more beefy and wouldn't fit the "Switch" theme at all. That's just an unrealistic expectation.
I mean, the zonai dont need to be alive, just have them be... discovered, for lack of a better term, better Also werent there underwater divine beast concept art in one of the book? So we could get an epic underwater biome!
it would be interesting if they did companion like resident evil 0 did, where the AI plays as the other character, and then you can switch when you like. This would only work if they had unique abilities tho
You sure the switch will make it 1080p 60fps?! If they improve on how the game looks such as lighting and the style I don't think 60fps 1080p is possible That sounds like switch pro to me
@@AnarickTheDevil I'm pretty sure it's better on the Switch than on WiiU. I have the Switch version and honestly it's not THAT bad (though it is kinda bad). I think they also did an update a while back so that while the framerate drops, the game doesn't actually slow down, which helps a lot.
@@Izandaia Whiel the portability would be nice Ive spent to many hours on the wii u version to just start over, Id rather just quit playing then start collecting all the shrines and seeds all over.
Fair enough, I just personally prefer stories that aren't happy, and I mean TP was a bit darker, and BotW had some moments, I mean a bunch of Zeldas have sad moments, but I feel like the only consistently dark and sad one was Majoras Mask, which had very little happiness if any, so that's kind of what I want, which people said it was confirmed it would be darker than MM, but I haven't seen anything about the tone so not sure where they heard it.
Well, depressing? No, that isn't a good direction for Nintendo to go. Serious, yes. Realistic, yes... well, as realistic as you can get with an elf boy waging a war against a demon pig across the expanse of time. Either way, a depressing storyline isn't the direction Nintendo can really go. It's a company that makes games that kids can have fun playing. You can't really have fun playing a game that depresses you, right? Because those two things are mutually exclusive. They can't be the same thing
@Darkstar I beg to differ, depressing games can be really fun, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls (any Quantic Dream game really), certain part of TellTales TWD, parts of The Last of Us, Doki Doki Literature Club (which if you haven't heard of it, the game is a Psychological Horror game disguised as an innocent Dating Sim, I was skeptical at first because I don't play those games, but once the horror kicks in it's awesome), those are just some that come to mind. Everyone has different tastes, but imo there's nothing better than a story that either makes you want to cry, or actually does make you cry, in my opinion that's how you know the writer created amazing characters because they actually get you invested enough to cry over a fictional story.
lewissh1886 why would you need a claw shot in a game where you can climb everything? The whole point of the clawshot is to navigate around gaps and up walls to otherwise inaccessible areas but with climbing and paragliding the need for that is entirely mute. Items shouldn’t just be added for the sake of it, especially when the game has basically removed all the obstacles the clawshot was designed to solve.
- Greater enemy variety: Bring back Darknuts, armored enemies with certain vulnerability spots, some magic-wielding enemies, certain enemies being characteristic of certain regions of Hyrule and not just different colored Lizalfos. - More durable weapons: Maybe have fewer weapons but you can repair those and they don't just break but rather revert to a stage where they have to be repaired before they can be used again. Bonus would be an upgrade system for weapons like armors in BotW1. - Utility items: using the Sheikah Slate (and having unlocked all of its uses in the tutorial) didn't have the same feeling like acquiring the Hookshot or boots of speed in the previous games, there was no sense of progression there. So bringing back these utility items in dungeons for puzzle solving creates the actual feeling of having achieved something. - Real Dungeons and Temples: As said in the video, Dungeons have to make a return. The Divine Beasts and Sheikah Shrines are rather small and share a too similar aesthetic that they got boring rather quick. Also different bosses and minibosses alongside puzzle rooms. - Link needs some actual emotions for once: He seemed completely unfazed by any heartbreak thrown at him, he doesn't have to talk for that. - Change up links combat pattern, give the player more agency over how he attacks.
Its crazy but, the more I think about it, the more I realize that BotW was missing key components that would have made it the perfect Zelda. Instead what we got was a Zelda game that tears away its flavoring for something different. Which does not bode well for me. What would make the sequel 10x better than BotW: Dungeons need to be themed and have more of them. 4 copy/ pasted temples was really lame. Enemy variety. There are literally DOZENS of famous enemies from previous titles. We only got 5? 6? Items need to come back. Fishing rod, Hook shot, Iron boots, Zora Flippers, Lantern, etc. Story in BotW was really good, but the narrative was fucking atrocious. Take notes from Twilight Princess or Wind Waker. Towns were ok, but the world felt so unpopulated at times. Shrines were ok, up until about 50-60 of them. After that the monotonous theme and recurring puzzles made them a chore. Korok seeds are so uninspired. I could not have cared less about collecting more than a few dozen of them. Weapon durability needs a complete overhaul. It doesnt work for me. Im sure some people like it, but its so fucking annoying for the game to force me into "Big brain" mode. Sometimes I dont want to think about weapon conservation, I want to kick the shit out of some fucking moblins with my badass flame sword and not have it blow up after 2 enemies.
Unbreakable weapons, Dungeons, Tunic earlier on and Items. Earn cool stuff by playing the game, not buying amiibo. I want that endorphin release you get when you finally conquer a quest and receive a new item or power upgrade that makes you more badass and lets you unlock secrets and explore unknown areas. That's what makes Zelda games enjoyable in my opinion.
I think unbreakable weapons would ruin the concept, however, they should definetly balance the weapons a bit more and do something against fights where half of your weapons break
@@darxoonwasserHey, sorry I'm not trying to sound like an ass, but what exactly is the concept you are talking about? I don't get how my weapon breaking on what feels like every single time I use it on an enemy and have to interrupt my gameplay by freezing the screen to access a pop up inventory to choose another weapon thats just going to do the same thing in another short breath (see what I did there), fun. I have played tons of similar games with solid weaponry and they have been fine . I still played botw alot and it didn't really bother me as much as it sounds here, but to have it again in the sequel.. Meh 😕 I like your idea though, or just have a good old fasion level/xp mechanic. That would keep me happy. Everyone's different though. Who knows what good old Nintendo and the developers will bring to the table. They'll probably invent some whole new innovative style of combat that will blow our minds. Hopefully... And hopefully no motion controls. We all know how that turned out.
It would actually be really funny if the trailer was confirmed to be fake and the actual art style for BotW 2 would be the same as the art style from the CD-i games.
Remember that video of the unreleased Zelda game with Link battling that huge tarantula in a stone castle, that looked great with it being so dark and then we got SS which was too bright with bold colours, it seemed to take away from the danger of Ghirahim.
SERIOUSLY; MAKE WEAPONS THAT DON'T BREAK ONLY AFTER A FEW STRIKES!!!!!!!!! ADD A CRAFTING SYSTEM; SO THAT Weapons can be strengthened, Upgraded, and MUCH less likely to break AND MORE IMPORTANT HAVE THE MASTER SWORD BE COMPLETELY UNBREAKABLE WITHOUT A RECHARGE CYCLE, AND AN UNBREAKABLE HYLIAN SHIELD!!!!
Some of your suggestions would ruin the game (assuming the game will still focus on freedom and exploration). If the Master Sword is unbreakable, why would you ever use anything different outside of elemental effects?
A little dream of mine for BotW2 is a gigantic boss battle. But as you said, not just Link and Zelda, but rather all of the people of Hyrule. Gorons, Zora, Gerudos, Ritos, Sheikah, Koroks and of course the Hylians. I‘d like to see more strategy in Zelda battles. Not just using the Mastersword or bow&arrow or bombs. More like all tribes working together, using their abilities. For example, the Rito flying above the enemies firing arrows with their talent with bows, the Gorons using their incredible strength for throwing rocks or big bombs. The Gerudo could be useful in direkt combat (see Urbosa for example). And maybe the Zora could take some benefit from water? BUT, the crucial point would be, that you, the player would be the one controlling all of that. Controlling the weapons, controlling the warriors, controlling the military lineup. All this, in your hands. Your decision how the battle would be passing off. But you know, just a little dream. (I‘m sorry if there are any spelling or grammar mistakes! English isn’t my first language.)
Just to point something out, Traditional Dungeons will likely not be making their way back the way we used to know them. Nostalgia can be quite the force, I fully understand that, but trying to put so much drive into Traditional Dungeons is going to end up ruining anybody's experience if they're not only expecting it, but feel obliged to get it. I personally prefer the open-world feel of the game, rather than the closed borders of a tiny plane. And before anybody accuses me, I have played through and completed both OoT and MM 3d, Skyward Sword, Four Sword download for the 3ds, Twilight Princes, Wind Waker and ALbW. I understand how Traditional Dungeons flowed. I get that people want them back, but don't want them so much that you'll end up not liking the game because they're not in it. Think about it logically, rather than wanting and hoping. The Zelda Team has put in a lot of time and effort to make BotW as amazing as it was. Their intent was to do away with everything we had put into a Zelda Game to make something new, something exciting. They completely reinvented the game for everyone! No more do you have to do everything in order to move on, you can choose how to progress! You are no longer locked to a sword, you can choose how you fight! The world no longer chooses how Link goes, we do. Traditional Dungeons are just a way to lock the player on a specific path, essentially no wiggle room. You want to go further in the story? Beat this dungeon, or go get this item to go into said dungeon. I'll compare my last thought to an RP game. In Dungeons and Dragons, would you rather have a DM that railroads you to HIS/HER path, and force you back onto it anytime you derailed, or would you rather have the DM that lets you go anywhere because you can? A DM that has a living world is better than a DM with a static world. Having an overarching story is better than having a novel for you to play the main character in. It's the difference between night and day! Each Shrine in of itself is its own mini dungeon, where you could die at any moment. Seems similar to the original LoZ, doesn't it? In every screen you could die at any moment. Heck, I still can't get past the first enemy screen I've found! That's what they were going for. They didn't want you to spend hours upon hours standing around the world you inhabited. They wanted you to explore, to find, to discover. Traditional Dungeons might seem like the quintessential part of Zelda games, but they're not. Think back to the first time you found a hidden grotto, or a hidden piece of heart behind a puzzle. That's what they were going for. I can understand that and enjoy the game as it is. I don't need Dungeons to dictate how I go about my business, I wanted to explore and discover. Going onto the other points, I agree that the Zonei need to be more flushed out. But finding some alive? I've got no choice but to disagree. Their entire existence being shrouded in shadow is exactly why we like to talk about them. We know next to nothing about them, yet we know everything about them. We know that they were a powerful civilization, based on their structures. We know they had ties with the Shiekah, due to the Shrines. We know their place in the world, yet we know nothing about them. We just know them as a tribe that vanished mysteriously. Just like with how the Zelda Team left the Timeline spot ambiguous, so too will they with the Zonei, so that we keep talking about them, so that we keep coming up with theories about them. It's not about us fully knowing what and who they are, it's about us thinking about who they are. The idea of a proper menu is ludicrous. There is no such thing as a proper menu. Original Zelda? It showed the title and some artwork of the game. Same with the sequel. The 3d games had little clips showing gameplay, sure, but it's not necessarily the 'proper' title. Going back to my original point about the Dungeons, it makes no sense for such a thing to determine if a game is good or not. I fully agree with your point about the music. With this game being potentially darker than Majora's Mask, we will need a music theme that ties into the tone. Remember when we all thought that piano was a relaxing instrument? Blown out of the water with Guardians. What I'm trying to say is that yes, we'll need darker music for darker parts. But if we're in the middle of nowhere alone, without any enemies or people nearby, I'd still want the tones of the wild to follow. The game was all about exploring, and if you find yourself completely in the wild during it, I still want more slow-paced, airy music to go with it. Also, in the distant past? Really? You think that we're going to see the time before BotW? That's quite the leap from everything else in this video. Is that how you're expecting us to see the Zonei? Let's look at all the other games in the series to see which ones would actually allow for a 10000 year trip. OoT? Nope, 7 years into the future. Link to the Past? No time travel here. Skyward Sword? Only a measly 2000 years. You get my point? We'd need something more powerful than the Gate of Time to go back that far. It's not very likely. I will agree with you about greater customization, though. I'd love it, considering how great it'd be to combine effects from different outfits. I can generally agree with you on most of your other wants. Weapon Repair and Upgrade? Yes please. A new area to explore? Not needed, but definitely appreciated if it happens! A deep story filled with lore? I can get behind that. I could even accept a timeline placement for the sequel, even though I'm pretty sure it'll be a converged timeline. A dangerous Ganondorf? Absolutely, no questions about it, I want it. If it's not in the game, I might be disappointed, but I'll enjoy the game for what it is. I'm not going to claim that I didn't wanted stuff that wasn't in the game, but I'm not going to complain if it happens. In conclusion, I do think that the majority of the points in this video were really good. Music to follow the tone, I can follow behind. Greater Armor customization for different needs? Yeah, I'll get behind that. Weapon repair and upgrades? I want that, a lot. New places to explore? For an open world, it seems somewhat mandatory. Could the Zelda Team make the places we've already explored new? Yes, they can. A deep story with a frightening conclusion? I'll eat it up like it's a rare treat for me. But as for your other points, I have to disagree. I don't believe we'll get Dunegons like the Forest Temple or Stone Tower back, but I can't imagine us getting Divine Beasts again. Meeting the Zonei in the past? Highly unlikely, unless Purah managed to concoct a Rune for Time Travel. A Menu with a cutscene? Not needed in the slightest. Most of the series doesn't have a cutscene in the first place. Music in the menu, sure, I can understand that. In general, your points would enhance the gameplay, but with all the emphasis you're putting onto certain ones, you'll end up setting everyone up for disappointment. I don't think you want that, I know nobody else wants that, and I know I don't want that. It's fine to have your theories about what to expect, but don't treat them like facts that need to happen.
I just want Zelda and other characters that will be in the story to be fleshed out. I'm not asking for the deepest story ever but I want to care about the characters and the conflict to feel like it's important. Also petting dogs
Id like the ability to unlock a function where you can wear a set of armor, but have a different armor worn over to get its appearance. (So you get the stats and effects from armor 1, but armor 2 is strictly appearance.
I disagree so much with a lot of these points even myself got surprised by it. You want the Fairy Theme back, yeah thats nice and is a staple, I want it back as well but there are reasons for its exclusion for BoTW, you had a single file when the game released, and it was either start your adventure or continue it from the screen, it saved time and resources leaving it out, also it left the "press start" screen and the subsequent pick your file screen out, saving even more time. Maybe if they added the Master Mode from the get go they can reintroduce the file select screen and the fairy theme alongside it since you can pick which difficulty you want. But do not expect that happening. Second point, the music. Zelda has the most amazing themes out there, but I cant imagine hearing the music looping on the overworld map all the time. The idea of silence and some key notes here and there is fine. The only way I see overworld music returning is making a theme for each region you visit and each town/settlement getting its own theme as well. Please...stop assuming things, "the darkest Zelda ever" really? There is just one trailer, its true it was dark but that's not any indication of being the darkest Zelda ever made. I like the enthusiasm, but that obsession over the Zonai race is quite outstanding, wonder why? Wanna feel you are right at something guys? Wanna tell, you where the firsts saying it so? Anyways, this Zelda introduced a new race...the one you are so obsessed about, the Zonai. What we dont see is an actual member of said race alive in the game...or...do we now? Expanding the overworld, hmm...rough, the world looked big to me, they might make it bigger but for what? So we later complain how empty it is? The things we do agree are: Master Mode shouldnt have been paid DLC Dungeons needs to return A degrade system for weapons and shields instead of losing em froever On quests, they were fine. Yeah they could have been better, but my true gripe about em is that rewards for going out to do em didnt feel rewarding enough. This are some of the points I have, I can totally see myself on the other side of the spectrum when it comes down to fanbase and our ideas.
Another thing I would really like to see is more enemy variety as through Breath of the Wild, we’ve only seen enemies like Bokoblins, Moblins and Lizalfos throughout the game with the more harder ones having different colours and having the same method to take them down. Having some enemies from previous games would give this sequel more variety. Plus, while this might not happen but a playable Zelda would be amazing!
- Gimme 6 or 7 massive themed dungeons - Seamless mini dungeons that replace shrines(should be integrated into the overworld, have different themes as well and have like 30 or 20 of those) - More weapon variety/classes and bring back weapon skills from Twilight Princess, each weapon type has unique abilites and techniques - Bring back magic bar and magic spells, maybe it replaces the runes and also adds more combat options and ways to interact with the environment - More enemy variety please, new and old enemies, also more unique overworld bosses(We need more flying enemies and enemies like Lynels that require skill) - Bring back underwater exploration with under water enemies, treasures, structures, and more. - Add more caves and such - Add more and farther islands to the seas of Hyrule. Add actual boats to traverse the expanded seas and more water enemies and water bosses. - Add crafting and alchemy to give us things to do with the hundreds of little items and things we pickup - Add actual interesting and meaningful sidequests with actual good rewards - Add more unique items and past items like the hookshot - Add an actual postgame please. Maybe a secret boss and secret dungeon after beating the game. Akin to the cavern of Remembrance and The Lingering Will from Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix. - 1080p 60fps, if not possible improve the graphics in other ways like making the world and structures more high poly and improving the cel shading.
The Zonais were interesting because it is a dead ancient civilization left with ruins, gears and pieces with some mystery shrouding it. Alive Zonais would just kinda ruin to be honest. :/
The thing that we needed the most was shortcuts for entire sets, meaning, equip your previously configured choice of three equipments, with one action (either in the menu or while in play).
Add blacksmiths: you could buy weapons and armor, and have them repaired and upgraded. Have the Fairy Fountains enchant said items. Specialized items can be obtained like with Cherry with Ancient gear. Add a grapple gun, climbing axes, flippers, and other items that could help traverse Hyrule easier.
Honestly I would like to see more enemy variety in the sequel Like darknuts Actual stalfos Iron knuckles Gibdos Goiras Fokkas Tectites Ropes Leeveers Manhandlas Wall masters Gleeoks Aquamentus Dodongos Moldorms Polsvoices Armos Bago-bagos Wosus Barbas Dairas Gerus Mobis And so much more It would be awesome if you can get items from other zelda games as well
I hate how everyone looks down on the Blight Ganons. I love each and every one of them, and all of them have found their way to my top 15 Zelda bosses INDIVIDUALLY. Not clustered together, INDIVIDUALLY. I love their animations, the way they behave like primal humans, the challenge they can present, their occasional over the top attacks, how unique they are from every other Zelda boss and from each other, and how they all made the Calamity seem even more powerful through the fact that it can create intelligent life. I find it strange that the same team that made these thought that Dark Beast Ganon was anything close to a good finale.
If dungeons do make a return, I would love to see them take the route like the Hylian Castle. Having a lot of huge dungeons that have so many rooms it would take hours to find all the secrets, but nothing is necessary to get would be awesome. I’d love the concept of walking in and either going straight for the boss (trials or key maybe still required?) or to explore every room, get secrets, find other bosses, so on.
Different enemies/bosses, temples and dungeons, beloved Zelda music, and more story Pretty much try and integrate previous Zelda mechanics into this one more. I understand what they did with BoTW, it was great. But I missed those elements so much.
There are some more micro things we need: - Less rain. It rains far too often and then you can't claimb and have to wait. - Weapon forging/upgrading. Basically, a way to make items more durable.
Since this is going to be a sequel, how do you think the game will begin? Will we have the master sword from the beginning? If not, what could happen to it that it is not with the hero? It would be a nice vídeo speculating about that
Fix weapons & breaking mechanic (Hylian Shield, M. Sword, looking at you), dungeons, more diverse enemies, higher difficulty (at least bring back MM), bring back unique tool-items, an actual story please, musicmusicmusicmusicmusic, fill the world with content and not 900 pieces of shit, give us an actual villain. Make it a Zelda game again. Give it some soul.
The thing that bothered me most about BOTW was the way the ending gave no finality, you just beat the boss then go back to your last save. I felt they should have ended the bloodmoons/respawns when you beat Gannon so you could go on one final quest around Hyrule cleaning up corruption and guardians and monsters resulting in 100%.
Number 10 is probably the one I want the most. I want all the citizens of Hyrule (Rito, Goron, Kokiri, Zora, etc.) to come together and do a full frontal assault on Ganondorf and his demon army. I've been wanting a confrontation like this from a Zelda game for a long time. If Nintendo can pull this off while putting Ganondorf on a Kefka (FFVI) level of evil, like the type of evil that makes you HATE him, we can see an incredible story unfold in front of us. I wanna see stories of loss and devastation similar to those in Majoras Mask, stories that really connect you to the citizens of Hyrule on an emotional level. That emotion that makes you WANT to destroy Ganondorf. This sequel has incredible potential to be one of the greatest games to ever been created by Nintendo.
I somewhat disagree with number 4, but only in the way you guys seem to be thinking of it. Yes, "proper" dungeons are an absolute must for the sequel, however the traditional structure/layout/etc., being as closed-in as it is, just *doesn't work* in this more open-world era. Ideally, we want some kind of middle-ground between the divine beasts and shrines of BotW, and the dungeons of old; something that takes the best parts of both. The key here is giving players room to explore, and find their own route through the dungeon, rather than figuring out how to continue along a single pre-determined route. Though if they absolutely had to go back to the traditional style, take cues from the ones with plenty of outdoor portions, such as Dragon Roost Cavern, or City in the Sky. [Edit] Basically now that I think about it, I just want more of what they did with Hyrule Castle.
I hope they change the horseback riding theme. Every time it came on I thought I was about to have an enemy encounter. It seemed too exciting and anticlimactic
I want to see Hyrule Castle go upwards, like we see in the trailer, but have it float above Hyrule until you get some power to take it down. Under the castle, you find the Laboratory, and some of the walls had cracked open. Inside are sheikah powers and runes that allow Link to find the Zonai ruins around Hyrule, like a lens of truth thing.
Enemy variety and more than a handful of good NPCs. Twilight Princess had great NPCs, and included a capable group of warriors that helped at least a bit in the final area. The Champions and their descendants were cool, but other NPCs were bland and forgettable
weapon/bow/shield stats, upgrading and possibly even enchantments? that would be dope af ngl, I'm hype for the game and possibilities of what could come from this next installment!
Pretty much all of this is a MUST for me! I still think that the first one was really underwhelming. I sold it by now. Just bring back a little bit more classic Zelda, Nintendo!
Just imagine finding piece of flint and tree wood. Going to the crafting section in the shekiah slate and make arrows! Then later putting in elemental chuchu jelly or gunpowder to change arrows! Crafting can be just an optional choice too. If u are lazy u have the option to still buy pre made stuff.
Wait..... since fighting master kosha was our final trial to see if we were a true hero, what if the master kosha fight was a really toned downed version of the final ganondorf fight. Think about the moves kosha uses then think about if moving as if he were half dead, alot of the movements were swift slick and albeit a little creepy
We need more Towns, settlements and NPCs. I feel like BOTW was severely lacking in it. Also I’m quite old fashioned, I would love to see the green tunic again but this time making easier to acquire.
I really hope they change the fighting mechanic when Link swings his sword. Instead of being the same repetitive pattern everytime, you should be able to swing directionally much like in OOT. When you hold forward Link should do stab thrusts, when you attack while idle Link swings horizontally, when holding back Link swings vertically. It's a subtle change but one that would make the fighting alot more fun.
as a person whos, first game was breathe of the wild, I liked everything and I wonder about dungeons and stuff but all I wonder is what next I don't see me comparing to past games I want there to be new things too like ZELDA being playable also and most importantly petting all of the dogs. (also to have different breeds of dogs)
(From a 3D Animator); The Reason for 30fps, most high-quality cartoons are framed at around 29.7. Especially with the cell-shading direction BoTW has, it was most definitely chosen for this reason. Locking it at 30fps was done from a visual-style standpoint. Anything above that on cell-shading creates an odd gliding-silk sensation that feels.... off. It may come down to a vote between people who like the gliding-hovering feeling or not. Whilst it (also) keeps everything running smoothly. It is done more for the experience of manipulating a (cartoon/Anime), than it is a hardware barrier. So I disagree with incresed fps, but I do agree on resolution increases. They should be more than capable of improving on it.
A Ganondorf at Majora level threat, dark story, creepy enemies. Please Nintendo!
I was surprised that a kingdom with such tragic ruins wasn't swarmed with ReDeads and Poes.
It has been confirmed that it will be darker than Majoras

I want ReDeads, Poes, Playable zelda, the beetle, hookshot(s) and WolfLink. That would be cool. Also maybe throw in Ganondorf increasing in power as the game progresses, from his weakest to WW levels of intellect, magical prowess, and strength.
Heres an idea a much more Powerful Demise comes back with his entire army of demons from the underworld and Ganondorf joins us to put a stop to Demise as Demise is conquering the entire world.
Oh And Demise brings back all previous villains from the Zelda series in his ranks from Vaati, Majora, Malladus, Bellum, Dark Links,
Agahnim ,Twinrova ,
Helmaroc King , King Bulblin , Zant , Yuga and more
And Ganondorf is like a good ally and itll be a huge twist and We will have the option to play as Link or Zelda omg that would be amazing !!!

Use links house in the sequel.
Explain where links gear from the first game has gone.
Zelda not to be down graded to a damsel
I absolutely agree
My favorite moment of the game was after you beat the DLC and link hangs the champions picture in his house. His house was such a great touch and i want more with it
About the gear, I think that now you will start with the Master Sword probably and maybe you can even get a shield from the armory or something, but transferring your old gear would be unreasonable because imagine having 70+ attack gear at the beginning of the game.
Or True but it might be harder enemies. So 70+ attack might not be much. Maybe a little helpful. But you will get destroyed soon enough lol😅
I was thinking that too, almost all of the points had Zonai in them. Maybe you guys should stick to the facts instead of getting caught up in theory.
^
Besides, Making of a Champion seems to care an awful lot about the Zonai.
Stop overhyping if yall wondering so hard buy it online in its pal version form.
Living Zonai would kind of nullify the entire reason they were interesting in BotW. That reason being, _they're all dead and nothing's left but buildings and clothes._ I think if any Zonai are in this game they're going to be ghosts and flashback characters like the Champions.
I can’t wait to see people’s reactions when the Zonai don’t happen. :)

Platforming with the game's engine wouldn't work very well.
I actually feel the game lends itself pretty well to platforming/platformingesque challenges
I would love to see mini bosses in dungeons! What would be really cool is if Dark Link made a comeback.
Owen Bernard the hookshot doesn’t really have a purpose if you can climb anywhere to anything. Asking for platformimg I’m a Zelda game kinda seems like asking for am intricate story in Mario, it’s not necessary for the game.

Did you know that flurry rush and parrying exists? And if you do a run up, you can do a jump slam.
Playing on too much nostalgia will kill the game. Doing this didn't make certain movies and games better, it cheapened the experience and seemed disingenuous. This had been a disaster for many franchises, please reference but do not rely purely on previous works for content.
I agree with you Corey.
but all of these gameplay elements and suggestions have been a staple of the series since ALTTP.
I can kinda imagine Ganondorf's title being something like; The True Calamity: Dark Lord Ganondorf.
King of Thieves

Yes, especially in Japanese the titles of bosses tend to be over dramatic

More Enemies, Traditional Dungeons, and a dark and depressing story is what I want the most
i agree with the first two but not really with the dark and depressing we have had that multiple times now
Fair enough, I just personally prefer stories that aren't happy, and I mean TP was a bit darker, and BotW had some moments, I mean a bunch of Zeldas have sad moments, but I feel like the only consistently dark and sad one was Majoras Mask, which had very little happiness if any, so that's kind of what I want, which people said it was confirmed it would be darker than MM, but I haven't seen anything about the tone so not sure where they heard it.
Kill off Zelda. There you go that's depressing
Everyone has different tastes, but imo there's nothing better than a story that either makes you want to cry, or actually does make you cry, in my opinion that's how you know the writer created amazing characters because they actually get you invested enough to cry over a fictional story.
i want original items back like clawshot and stuff
it's possible with his magic arm thing...
I'm hoping at least.
lewissh1886 why would you need a claw shot in a game where you can climb everything?
1. Zonai
2. A Zonai girlfriend
3. Zonai toys
4. Legend of Zonai: Zonai of the Wild
5. Petting Zonai
Its crazy but, the more I think about it, the more I realize that BotW was missing key components that would have made it the perfect Zelda. Instead what we got was a Zelda game that tears away its flavoring for something different. Which does not bode well for me.
What would make the sequel 10x better than BotW:
Dungeons need to be themed and have more of them.
Meh 😕
I like your idea though, or just have a good old fasion level/xp mechanic.

SERIOUSLY;
MAKE WEAPONS THAT DON'T BREAK ONLY AFTER A FEW STRIKES!!!!!!!!!
ADD A CRAFTING SYSTEM; SO THAT Weapons can be strengthened, Upgraded, and MUCH less likely to break
AND MORE IMPORTANT HAVE THE MASTER SWORD BE COMPLETELY UNBREAKABLE WITHOUT A RECHARGE CYCLE, AND AN UNBREAKABLE HYLIAN SHIELD!!!!
New3DSLUIGI364 have unpredictable dungeons
All of these points would be amazing in game
Um. I think you would like Minecraft.
@@thewolfgamer571 Yeah
Some of your suggestions would ruin the game (assuming the game will still focus on freedom and exploration). If the Master Sword is unbreakable, why would you ever use anything different outside of elemental effects?
I had a dream last night. I dreamed that i could put different armor plates on different clothes in breath of the wild.
Sophia Schimko Mount and Blade: Breath of the Wild.
I want a big sword fight with Ganondorf in the Coliseum Ruins!
The things we do agree are:
Master Mode shouldnt have been paid DLC
Dungeons needs to return
A degrade system for weapons and shields instead of losing em froever
On quests, they were fine.
Plus, while this might not happen but a playable Zelda would be amazing!
yes i miss when the older Zelda games have more enemy variety.
- Gimme 6 or 7 massive themed dungeons
- Seamless mini dungeons that replace shrines(should be integrated into the overworld, have different themes as well and have like 30 or 20 of those)
- More weapon variety/classes and bring back weapon skills from Twilight Princess, each weapon type has unique abilites and techniques
- Bring back magic bar and magic spells, maybe it replaces the runes and also adds more combat options and ways to interact with the environment
- More enemy variety please, new and old enemies, also more unique overworld bosses(We need more flying enemies and enemies like Lynels that require skill)
- Bring back underwater exploration with under water enemies, treasures, structures, and more.
- Add more caves and such
- Add more and farther islands to the seas of Hyrule. Add actual boats to traverse the expanded seas and more water enemies and water bosses.
- Add crafting and alchemy to give us things to do with the hundreds of little items and things we pickup
- Add actual interesting and meaningful sidequests with actual good rewards
- Add more unique items and past items like the hookshot
- Add an actual postgame please.
Oh my GOD. YES SIR!!!!!
@Black D Glad you agree
@@sonymicronin love and wish all you have wrote. Big UP from Madrid (Spain) my friend. I can't wait for BOTW 2.
actual real dungeons pls
2500 Likes reached. Ten more changes going up on Friday!
The brittle weapons NEED to end, I loved collecting them
There's a lot of ambition here for a game scheduled to release only a bit more than 3 years after the release of its predecessor
How about not changing the quest log translation for North American versions to the point where all of Link's personality is lost?
Honestly I would like to see more enemy variety in the sequel
Like darknuts
Actual stalfos
Iron knuckles
Gibdos
Goiras
Fokkas
Tectites
Ropes
Leeveers
Manhandlas
Wall masters
Gleeoks
Aquamentus

And so much more
It would be awesome if you can get items from other zelda games as well
I hate how everyone looks down on the Blight Ganons.
Imagine if two player co-op was present in the sequel. Isn't multiplayer what Nintendo wanted to accomplish with Zelda Wii U?
It will never be 60fps.
I just wanna see more of baby sidon
after the Final Battle what could be added is the Imprisoned Ressurected Demise to Defeat after his Incarnation of Hate Ganondorf gets Defeated.
Literally add dungeons, iron boots, actual swimming, a crafting system, and civilization
Then you mean Twilight Princess but with all the latest software
You list those things off as if they're super easy to accomplish
If dungeons do make a return, I would love to see them take the route like the Hylian Castle. Having a lot of huge dungeons that have so many rooms it would take hours to find all the secrets, but nothing is necessary to get would be awesome. I’d love the concept of walking in and either going straight for the boss (trials or key maybe still required?) or to explore every room, get secrets, find other bosses, so on.
Different enemies/bosses, temples and dungeons, beloved Zelda music, and more story
Pretty much try and integrate previous Zelda mechanics into this one more. I understand what they did with BoTW, it was great. But I missed those elements so much.
4:48 after freeing the four divine *_bees_*
There are some more micro things we need:
- Less rain.
You guys are GREAT!!! Awesome work!!!
weapon/bow/shield stats, upgrading and possibly even enchantments? that would be dope af ngl, I'm hype for the game and possibilities of what could come from this next installment!
Pretty much all of this is a MUST for me! I still think that the first one was really underwhelming. I sold it by now. Just bring back a little bit more classic Zelda, Nintendo!
Awesome intro! 👌 loved it!
Also i want to explore under water damn it!
Sounds like The Seven Deadly Sins vs The Ten Commandtments anime or a fanfiction 😂😂
I love it, but kinda sad that Nintendo won't do it
Just imagine finding piece of flint and tree wood. Going to the crafting section in the shekiah slate and make arrows! Then later putting in elemental chuchu jelly or gunpowder to change arrows! Crafting can be just an optional choice too. If u are lazy u have the option to still buy pre made stuff.
Im hope we see 1080p 60fps TV mode and 720p 60fps handheld mode, a REAL Ganondorf fight, returning old enemies (Redeads, Poes) and co-op.
Wait..... since fighting master kosha was our final trial to see if we were a true hero, what if the master kosha fight was a really toned downed version of the final ganondorf fight. Think about the moves kosha uses then think about if moving as if he were half dead, alot of the movements were swift slick and albeit a little creepy
Where did you get your map footage?? It’s amazing
More enemies to please! Re-deads mostly, and dead hands.
Heart pieces, petting dogs and underwater exploration
I do love the music very much, but botw couldve used a few walking tunes to play based all the regions.
We need more Towns, settlements and NPCs. I feel like BOTW was severely lacking in it.
Also I’m quite old fashioned, I would love to see the green tunic again but this time making easier to acquire.
I just want 8 UNIQUE dungeons and a final one
They need that back and forth battle with gannondorf just like in ocarina of time! Intense boss battles!
Just get rid of the damn rain please
I kinda want the game soundtrack should be fully orchestrated to match the themes of story.
Have there been any theories about if the hole left by Hyrule Castle could possibly be an entrance to the underground?
I really hope they change the fighting mechanic when Link swings his sword. Instead of being the same repetitive pattern everytime, you should be able to swing directionally much like in OOT. When you hold forward Link should do stab thrusts, when you attack while idle Link swings horizontally, when holding back Link swings vertically. It's a subtle change but one that would make the fighting alot more fun.
Just let me tame and have a pet lynel! I wanna be able to ride into a monster camp with both me and my lynel raining down shock arrows!
I want to see the golden goddess again we got to see them one time making the world
as a person whos, first game was breathe of the wild, I liked everything and I wonder about dungeons and stuff but all I wonder is what next I don't see me comparing to past games I want there to be new things too like ZELDA being playable also and most importantly petting all of the dogs.
Less rain would be nice. I spend so much time waiting for rain to stop. XD
