Sachiko is so real. She didnt sugar coat how hard it was to get rid of stuff or how she has struggled to feel safe in the truck. I really appreciate her candidness! It has encouraged me to self reflect and think in a more realistic way than people who paint this experience as nothing but good vibes and freedom. Thank you for the tour!
BEAUTIFUL tour of a BEAUTIFUL Rig! This has got to be a favorite for a UPSCALE build. The innovation & IMAGINATION used is WONDERFUL! So impressed by this AWESOME couple! Well Done👏✌🏽❤🙏

DepictedRealityTV, at around the 21 minute mark, your video transitions between two separate cameras. I like the quality of each, differently. What setup is used for the standing interview process, and what setup for the sweeping overview and side interview shot?
You two are an inspiration. Your conversion came out really nice and operative, not to mention that this whole project made you self reliable. It is possible to be really free from mortgages and rent, don't be surprised if you see a lot more people going into van and schoolly life . Prices have gone out of control on almost anything in Canada, especially on housing. I would suggest to you to put your skills into designing solutions for affordable housing out of vehicles that are out of service. Another suggestion : best places to park overnight in the city is in fire halls and parking lots in police stations. All you have to do is to ask first. Greetings from Toronto.
I really enjoyed watching all their videos and loved what they have accomplished. I think they will be going very far in life. Anything is possible. You both did a great job and you should be very proud of yourself. You did great love reach for that North Star that should be the name of your home. It looks wonderful safe, hard work, and worked great as a couple.
You guys are so adorable, I enjoy the video,. I came across the video because I’m interested in doing the same thing. And your advice, and experience is much appreciated. Thank you so much
Though there are things about this I dont like, you have some sensible ideas and a great attitude. Good that you find cheaper solutions too. Outfitting is daunting enough, the reality of "this is where i live all the time" is even worse for me as I get ready to start this. I try not to think about it frankly.
You did a nice job, I don’t know how you can can sleep in such a tight space you have room to lower the bed and you don’t, I hope everything work out for you.
Love this build! The bed area looks super cozy, however, the first thought that came to my dirty mind was there’s not much head room(pun intended) for sexy-time. Lol.
What a nice video, my friend! Amazing van life! Your free life style is adorable.. Enjoyed watching. Cheers from Russia, fellas ☺✌, and welcome to my channel about bushcraft and survival! Kind regards to you, Yuriy!
Just think of the camper they could have come up with had they bought a 24" box truck. So much in that small space. I could live in it, but my wife would go just in it. She goes nuts in our 37 Class A motorcoach after about 2 weeks. Dropped in because I'm remodeling my interior of it now. Nice built guys.
I wonder if he would share a template of his design for the electric, with the specific programming etc. Oh I see he's starting a business doing that. He'll probably be successful. But still, maybe he could share a basic template for free and then charge to customize. Cute couple.
LED lights flicker at a certain rate, and cameras record at a certain frame frate in this case it was 24 frames per second. The combo of this can sometimes make video look like the lights are flickering, but it's not noticable to the naked eye. Unfortunately I didn't notice it while recording but I could have changed my shutter speed, or adjusted the LED light brightness so that wouldn't happen.
I know you have taken your truck on the road already. I'm trying to decide between box truck and Sprinter as well, but taking it off main roads is my concern with the box truck. Did you have any issues? Have you driven around the province a lot prior to your build and feel confident this can handle the roads here (perhaps all over the country)?
Most of these vans wouldn't work in the S.W. U.S. or other hotter climates because they either don't have windows or windows that don't open - you would roast to death, or in a hot humid climate like the southern U.S. you'd roast and sweat to death. Yes, noise all night of slamming doors, cars going by, etc is too disturbing. And going to the bathroom. I stayed in my car for a little while at one time, I wouldn't be able to do it all the time. I always felt some level of stress and anxiety daily, when I live in a structure I don't have anxieties or stress about it. If your vehicle breaks down I guess you'd have to pray for a good mechanic, and one who won't go through your stuff. Then where do you stay, which stuff do you remove from the vehicle at the shop to take with you. I wish you the best. My mind just automatically goes to what could go wrong that's out of my control.
alpha java : Any motor home will function fine in a hotter climate, in fact maybe better than a house, since most of them are fully insulated and have air conditioning, even a fan and an open window will do.I wonder how your mind will go if you have to go through a fire, earthquacke, flood, hurricanes, etc, in your house. God forbid if your car brakes down while shopping........
I think part of the drive to this, is being out of the comfort zone, as she said, being scared to do something, is the best reason to do it, that is what she also said about rock climbing. One of the most important things we can do for ourselves to keep growing, but not mentally aging is to continually be learning new things, this builds new pathways (Neurons) in our brain. Resiliency is not learned by staying in your comfort zone, no matter our age. Keep that adrenaline going. I'm 60 going on 37.
Unsure if one can make babies in that bed. Please explain. Much appreciated. Not trying to be rude, just asking if I am missing something. 99.99 percent of the build absolutely top class at an affordable price.
They are so supportive of each other. So rare, but encouraging.

Very beautiful! And the van doesn't look bad either.
It was really enjoyable listening to this couple. Their home is really nice. Thank you for this video
Thanks again Forest! And I love the young lady's honesty of some issues that us van lifers can potentially come across
You two are adorable couple and very inspiring what you have accomplished!! congratulations!!
it always amazes me how creative people get when it comes to storage! thanks for the video!

Sweet couple, nice simple build. Thank you for sharing and good luck on your travels.

nice camper
Why does the light mess with the camera?

@@bitcoinnotcrypto do you guys have a cut away to get through to the cab?
Or whoever they were?
@@ShandeleReynolds It looks like there's a door to the cab under the bed.
@@ShandeleReynolds in this video they show their door to the cab and how they installed a lock for the door ruclips.net/video/RMTNUO3_7rI/видео.html
What app or software are you using for the monitoring of the solar, water levels, etc.?
Where do you relax when not sleeping? It appears you can sit up in bed…
The van is great, however, the ceiling above the bed is a little too claustrophobic for me.
I know you have taken your truck on the road already. I'm trying to decide between box truck and Sprinter as well, but taking it off main roads is my concern with the box truck. Love it, but the head room on the bed is to limited

Off to Google what a “dorm fridge” is. Maybe it’s just a normal, small fridge? Called “bar fridge” where I am.
Not really stealth lol
Moritz has no clue. Why do they go for them?
How much you bought that used cargo van?and what year it is and where can i buy one now cash? Please message me in private
