Would you consider making a video on the process of how you cleaned and removed the hardened grease from these lenses? I bought some not too long ago, and the focus ring is quite sticky on a couple of them.
Your channel is amazing! Thank you for sharing those amazing diy projects I was wondering, do you think is it possible to cnc "print" these pieces out of metal ?
I think metal processing is also possible, but I think you have to think a little about the tolerance of the printout. I don't have much experience with CNC or lathe machining, so I'm not sure.
I’m in love with all those 3D printing model. Would you have for the MIR 1B 37mm 2.8 M42 ? Didn’t had the chance to start the project, but I’m sure I will do it. Really want to put together a Soviet lens set with this rehousing. Will do my best to contribute with your work. Thanks a lot for doing this.
I haven't been able to do 3D modeling because I've been busy these days. Also, I don't have a Mir 1b lens, so I'll have to get it first. I'll start modeling soon when I have more time. But, don't expect too much. :)
@@MountainBreezeStudio thank you so much. I appreciate a lot you answer and hard work. I will wait patiently and hope you can get this for the Mir 1B. You work made it possible to have cinema lenses style for people who can’t afford the expensive rehousing or cinema glass like me. God bless you 🙏🏻
Thank you for excellent 3D model! I downloaded Mir and Vega focus ring and printed, but it is too large for Mir and Vega, it fits for Tair. Is there right link? Or something went wrong while printing?
I have had no problems with the lenses I have. (I was the type with the zebra pattern on the focus ring) Although it is called a lens with the same name, the shape and size of the focus control part differ depending on the production period and camera type. Check if it is the same lens. :)
Are you talking about Canon digital RF cameras? I think it will be possible if you use it together with the M39-RF adapter. However, this lens has an image circle as small as a Super 16mm, so the image appears only in the center of the image sensor. (Did the RF camera have a 16mm mode?)
Try the adapter that converts the Leica M mount or M39 mount to the MFT mount. 3d printing isn't suitable for making a bayonet mount adapter with a small protrusion. :)
There is an upgraded version. see link! :)

did you found some info about it?
+1 here, old grease is stuck and i'm afraid to mess it up

Hello, do you have an online store where i can buy the focus rings and the filter adapters? Great channel. Thanks!
Sorry! No stores are ready because they don't sell them. :)

Dude, great video.
So for adapting to Sony you used?:
- M32 to M39 Screw conversion adapter
- M39 to Laica M(L/M) adapter
- L/M to E helicoid adapter
Yes!

Also how did you get the focus rings I’m trying not to break the ring itself, the lens, or my hands getting it on
Did you print the hoods too?
do you have any plans to create conversions like the ones you do for other lenses for this set?
Oops! Sorry for the late reply. I don't have any further work plans as the lens is so small that further housing upgrades are not easy.
Halo sir Mir 11 lens to bmpcc mft adaptor details available...?
Do you think it's possible to make a rf to kiev 16u mount afapter. Because I would love to use these lenses on my rf camera i 16mm mode

Plz make mft adapter for bmpcc users
