    One of THE best episodes yet! Not only because it’s yello belly, but the level of detail and explanation of each run. Is what you share here typical of the notes you would normally take for yourself on each hit? Thank you for sharing, and best to you and Jackie in Indiana for War in the Woods!

Thank You for taking the time to explain what, why, and how you dealt with the issues and conditions that you and the team were facing. Although I'm sure you didn't show all your cards. • @quickdeuce
    @quickdeuce 2 года назад +1

    Wow!! This video is AWESOME brutha! Talk about a tech class,, this video is a $1M lesson in 45 minutes folks. I'm 75 today, raced Super/Pro Gas in the mid 1980's with a little single carb/468/t-brake PG/5:88 10-bolt ChevyII, no delay box, no electronics mainly 'cause they didn't exist yet but even if they did I was/am too stupid to know how to use it. When all this tech started showing up this 'ol feller hadda get out of the game and turn my car into a show piece. Shine 'n Sho doesn't take smarts, just some work, a little cash, a love of cars, hang'n out with like minded people and talking with folks who enjoy talking about cars. As I'm listening to Justin share with us all the information he's processing to make tha Crow make a pass,, no kidding I am mind fu**ed! Seriously MIND FU**ED! There is so much information to consider when taking one of these 4,000 horsepower hotrods (my ChevyII may have been 750 on a good day) down the boulevard it is no wonder the sport of 'Street Racing' at the level of Justin and all the folks in the sport has become so challenging and costly. Anyway, folks who are already participating have the same information and they think about the same things (except they're not gonna share it with YOU FOR FREE!!),, but for all the folks who are watching Justin explain what he has to think about,, SAVE THIS VIDEO and refer back to it OFTEN. I GAURANTEE you will not find a more informative, highly technical video on RUclips.

    Damn crazy how you can get your car to spool with the "little Pontiac" in literally 2 seconds and the last NPK race I was at almost everyone took noticably more than 4-5 seconds to spool almost like they were fighting altitude but we weren't above sea level and it was negative 2500 DA... Finally a video for people with more than two brain cells. I appreciate that the fanboi masses won't understand half of what you just said, but for those of us that do, this was an extremely informative video. This gave us far more insight into real racing than a dozen of the other videos. The whole time you were spitting out data I was thinking to myself I would love to write a program that captures all that data and could recommend a setup based on the previous data. I wrote an auto tune program for my Haltech 16 years ago, this would just take that kind of analytics to the next level.
    FYI I think the reason why the draggy is giving you a slightly different reading is probably because it is measuring a different part of the run. The draggy will start recording the run from the moment it records any kind of inertia, whereas the strip won't start the run till you break the beams. So you already have some momentum taking place whereas the draggy won't have that.

    This content is EXACTLY what RUclips needed. I think most people that are fans of any type of no prep racing, don't fully understand what makes these cars get down. I'm a huge nerd for data, and I belive this helps all of us understand a little more. Thanks for the content, and PLEASE KEEP IT UP!!!

    Can't tell you how much I enjoyed this video. I assumed it was just going to be a few test hits at YB, but the tech talk was spot on what I love to hear. Please keep it here for us folks who can't afford the fancy things in life, like Caddy Jack's fuel injection system.

    Clearly the best tuner in the game. Your level of understanding of what's happening in the car is Fucking Amazing. For me clearly Big Chief and Shawn have been my favorites since the start of this thing on TV, which was my introduction to them. What I'm seeing in this video is that Murder Nova's biggest problem on the street and in No Prep is that Big Chief isnt on his team anymore. And that's not a knock on Shawn. It's more about how good Cheif is. The Patriots ain't the Patriots without Bill Belichick, know what I'm sayin?

    I raced in a 1956 pannel wagon and won a trophy in 1973 at yellow belly….. went home an partied! I also raced a 74 Chevy nova with a big engine…….. I lost , the nova missed 3 gears and still won racing for gong of the valley! I had a big guy holding to the back of the 56 with water under the tires. I had to wave my door to see! It’s a wonderful deal! Call me….. Tex me.
    Let’s party!!!!! Ringo to ya!

    The word you were searching for is perspective (vanishing point) That is pretty trippy with the fencing, it really gives a thrilling sensation going so fast, so close, next to something static. Reminds me of the scariest ride of my life, it involved drag slicks, the perfect launch, instant downpour, mail boxes & telephone poles...
    But hey, I'm still here.

    Justin and Jackie, this is one of the best videos you’ve done. Absolutely love Justin narrating and giving history about the track that was awesome as hell. Please do more videos like this. The 1st and only time I was ever at this track was just recently for a small tire and tailgate race. Let me just say this it is the biggest hole in the wall shit hole and I absolutely LOVE it. This place has so much character I can’t even put it into words. I watched Jason Cantu race his truck in 2 classes and kill it in both classes. I couldn’t believe that the cars and trucks were going as fast as they were. Unbelievable. But like these guys were saying in the beginning of this video, they can’t change anything about this track. Its characteristics flaws and imperfections are what make it what it is. If they alter that in any way it will 100% ruin the wonderful place that is yellow belly. If you have the chance to go especially if you have a car and race you have to go this is a must on a drag racers bucket list I only wish I had my car to run when I was there.

    Chief, I never question anything that you talk about on your car or anybody else’s I am not a mechanic. My father was a mechanic, so of course everything that I had pops took care of it but being around cars, the majority of my life you kind of taken the basics and I just want to give you a thumbs up like I said, I enjoy listening to you, you definitely know your shit! Be safe and I would like to say I wish you and Jackie nothing but the best

    I have been off in the grass many times there. With todays large brakes and shoots today seems allot better. back in the day in the 70s and 80's is was common to go off the turn in the stopping area and people who have won who could stop have been bumped many times by the car they just out run. Best track ever to test your weld, axles and chassis. crazy super sticky track. 534 foird 871 huffer in a t bucket. woohoo.
