Baby steps is definitely the way to go. Ok Justin I have to admit you did a pretty nice job on the wheels. They be lookin sexy.

Great advice Chief. Bringing in more power incrementally is the way to go. We have a 9.0 bracket car on alcohol. We just put in a 300 hp nitrous express plate system and we are mixing it with c16 race fuel. We pulled 12 degrees of timing out on the 150 shot to be safe and went 8.75 with a 5.55 eighth. We plan on rolling another 3 or 4 degrees of advance back in one degree at a time after reading the plugs and watching the in car video so we can see the tach and shift points. "Old school, no data logging." Like you said, tune it out on motor first and ease the power adder in in stages unless you don't care about blowing stuff up. Keep the videos coming.. Best of Luck from Long Island New York!

I like what you said on the live about not cutting up the vet. Back in the 70s (in my young days) I used to make one good one out of 2 wrecked ones. Like your vedios.
At first thought, I did not think about it enough to agree/disagree with the 2-step test. BUT after thinking about it, that REALLY REALLY makes a lot of sense. A relatively inexpensive way to tune, especially off of the line. I learn so much just listening, thank you!!!
Good catch......I can promise you thats one of the quickest and easiest ways to improve the reaction time and 60ft of any car. You/d be surprised how much gain is to be had from just getting some snap in the engine while its on the brake. When you let go of the button, the speed/energy and time it takes to make of the first move of the tire and suspension, will be decided by the tune up on the brake. I would compare it to entering a foot race sitting down lol
@@justinshearer3016 Honestly, I would have always let go of the button and judge everything on the 60' time...but I am not afraid to say that this is a better way. I just have never really thought of it before. Thanks!
I'm so stoked your showing everyone how cool and fast c3s can be with a little work and some power. I finally got my c3 down yellobelly last night bro. First pass with new 406 I built. Car was a junk parts car in 2018 now im finally making some test passes. Drove 20 miles to track & back too. 😉 just need a dragpack and some suspension dialing in and then I'll spray it and use the ATD brake next time. CherryBong is so cool a name for a c3.

Bro I’m glad I still get to see the cool stuff u do
I like what you said on the live about not cutting up the vet.
Thanks!
That is One Sweet Ride, Chief..!!! 😁😁😁
Very well detailed video as always both..smashing it 🤙🤙
thank you!!
Nice ride! I like the details and see the experience you have had in your race cars. Much respect ✊
Jackie’s a bad ass she jumps in lays one down tries to get it to shift gives good feedback and really enjoy you explaining tuning the carburetor
The Vette is sounding good. Can’t wait to see part 2.
Hey Justin and Hey Jackie! It is not lost on me as a huge fan that it has been 10 years since Flip passed. I still enjoy going back and watching old episodes, and I wonder when is the last time you watched the last episode of the first season..if ever?? We have watched you grow your incredible program over these years, and it amazes me to see what you have accomplished. I sometimes wonder where Flip would be in all of this craziness today? THE GREAT PACIFIC NORTHWEST LOVES YOU CHIEF AND JACKIE!!
thank you! everything with flip is still pretty sensitive for him
@@MidwestStreetCarsAuto I appreciate Flip was a magnetic and likable guy from what we could see here in America. Please let Justin know how much of an impact he had on all of us.
Chief explaining the importance of why he does what he does with the car , was always my favorite even when he was with the street outlaws
I really appreciate you explaining in so much detail how everything works, I’m definitely paying attention so I can use your knowledge on my little hot rod.
Imma put that chop on a loop and sleep to it ❤️ sounds sooo good!

Any You and Jackie make the best videos when y’all are testing!! There’s no telling what y’all may say or do! Hahaha you two are goof’s!
