I'm SO SORRY this gameplay is so bad. I woke up with the sorest shoulder and playing these maps was such a struggle. I really wanted to check out the new OST though and share it with you guys. Please forgive me and don't judge to harshly :')
I’m used to Expert+, but I tried the first song on Expert, and was like omg wtf is happening. It’s not only crazy fast, but my brain had no idea how to interpret the chopped up ones, and I lost halfway through.
Meanwhile I am used to Expert and had to step it down to Hard lol. Really loved the charts and new songs though. (I haven't really been playing that long so please don't judge me playing Expert)
Same mate I’m at that I’m between stage where I can play some songs on expert+ and some on expert and I had to step everything down to expert just to be able to barely pass the level till I got used to the new mechanics
After playing these and watching your video, Firestarter and I Wanna Be A Machine really do a fantastic job demonstrating how good the new blocks are, not just as a player but a viewer. They absolutely nailed the sensation of "playing" the held notes as a player, and they do an incredible job of breaking up the visual monotony of just pure brick slicing for viewers. I also was not expecting the vibration. It also helps that these maps are incredibly well done. Absolute banger of an update, and my only real complaint is they didn't take time to revisit the old maps, at least for the OSTs. Had they released this update with a new OST, plus previous OST update, I would've paid DLC prices for it. Can't wait to see what the community can come up with!
facts bro i thought the same thing i played the beat saber ost for the first time and was like screw it and i kid you not i said so many things about that first part of the song and regreted EVERYTHING
I cannot begin to express how impressed I was with this pack. Every song packs an amazing rhythm and the new maps are so fun to play. And I also appreciate the difficulty. I played each map on Expert to start out and I loved pretty much all of it. And of course, we can’t forget about Magic and Final Boss Chan.

I don’t think so.. she’s been playing for years and I doubt she can beat ghost yet, final boss isn’t easier than ghost. Y’all need some serious systematic training to be able to pass these songs
@@dirkhudsucker2390 I think Ghost is actually way harder than F-B-C on Expert+, I could pass it at 90% speed, but I'm not even able to pass Ghost at 70% speed... Any way, I think F-B-C is so much better than Ghost.
I love the new arcs and chains so much, they look absolutely cool, and i think that they can represent specific sound really well, also inspires me to create new maps!!!... This is so cool!!!
I definitely thought those arcs were a bit distracting, but it helped after I realized I didnt have to worry about following them exactly since they seemed to follow me rather than the other way around. I was able to pay less attention to them after that, and I really enjoyed them!
If you want a better experience I suggest not using your arms so much and wear shorts of your wearing any sweatpants or so Shorts and a t-shirt is what I do, use your wrists if your arms get tired alot and take breaks if you get tired after. YW!
I feel like the Living Tombstone song used the new mechanics the best. I play on Hard mode and its so fun when beats extend and you follow along, and when the walls make you move your whole body to follow the trails, (where you said "this parts so dancy"). Really like the new mechanics, I haven't experimented with the whole community songs so I'm not sure how long it will take for these mechanics to be brought to the program yall use or whatever but yeah. Exciting stuff.

I played Magic and I love how they made chain notes that connect to your saber in a way but aren’t forced to be that way and you can freestyle it! I played along with the chain cause it’s fun but having it not judge you based on the chain and instead it’s just to make the notes a tiny bit fancier! The split notes are very cool as well, very small changes that make a huge difference.
This update is amazing as now I feel more like a ninja with the 'arc' showing the next slice and the sliced blocks look good. This new pack has some nice songs like magic and curtains but the others are fun too, hope they maybe do it to the other songs in the game plus dlc
The fact that you even passed Expert plus for $1.78 is astounding to me. I can’t even pull off Expert at full tempo right now! So don’t worry, your gameplay is fine! :D
This pack is definitely much faster than the normal songs. I'm not on your level, but I had to drop down and play Hard because I couldn't keep up. Great job! I'm loving the changes they made
Yeah, those Camellia maps are pretty much where I draw the line... or is it where the game draws the line?...haha anyway, I can be pretty much beat every other E+ in OST, pretty well even, but those songs are just nuts.

Hey, some of us are waaayyy older than you and a lot creakier and probably crazy for even playing this game any higher than Normal mode but we do it anyway (should I mention I'm a 58-yr old mom with disabilities?). You inspire us in so many ways, not the least of which is to remember to HAVE FUN! Literally this game has helped tremendously with my ASD but sometimes I can get too serious about it, and you remind me to just *play* and have fun with it. You go girl!

With my lazy eye in lazy mode, I can’t even tell where the blocks are because I see 2 of each one. With my glasses on and lazy eye corrected (mostly) I still see a million blocks and have no idea how you can tell which one is coming first!! I can safely say playing at this difficulty will be on my Christmas wish list along with a new spine and a not so lazy eye for the rest of my waking days 🤣

I was content on playing medium until I watched a few of your videos. Just starting to make my way through expert now. It's so much fun having to swing like a squirrel on crack.
We got our Oculus for Christmas, so in only a few months I’ve made my way to being able to play moderately well on Expert…. But this new game pack is a completely new beast. I had to level down just to be able to finish a couple of levels and even then it was almost impossible.
I got a vr headset yesterday and have been playing beat saber and this whole videos gives me more anxiety how do you even do it that fast I want to do it that fast one day

OST V rooms feel shorter than the previous ones, like as if the blocks drop in closer to you - and then on top of that it's a right chaos even on lower levels, so it all feels like it's faster than older style songs. And then you just casually survive it on E+ first try XD damn! (haha "oh crap, it's camellia" resonates with me so well XD)

I'm not sure how likely it is considering each song has different mappers, but they seem to missing the new sabers so I could see them remapping too

I'm able to comprehend the notes fast enough in final boss chan it's just that my body isn't capeble of hitting them fast enough.

When learning how scoring actually works in this game, it values flare more than pure precision, which I think's cool
The gliders/sliders makes it seem like the sabe makes the sound especially with firestarter
