i plan on re-pasting my cpu (overheating now, near 60C running 480p youtube!) and had a look in your videos but couldn't find, so:
    1. is PCBA holding the cpu?
    2. do you know anywhere displaying taking apart PCBA? is the TIM soldered or paste? (i can get it desoldered if so, mine might have cracked from dropping if so)
    3. any thermal pads i might need to stock up to replace?
    4. just for clarification, this tutorial applies to the model HZ-W09? (the 2016[?] matebook, i3 m3-6y30) the description doesn't mention models.
thanks for any help in advance!
p.s. just in case: is there a way to remove the 60C thermal limit? i might just mod in a fan, if not a custom heatsink >:)

Okay, @DC-unlocker , can you tell me how you sepparated upper lid from the bottom of the laptop? im speaking of the hinges, how to de-screw them and reattach.

damn, so it's pretty much impossible to do any diy modification like swapping ssd or cpu or maintenance like repasting it....well the race to ever so-thin notebooks has it's drawbacks
seems then I am stuck with Gold body and 512GB of storage then (I was thinking of getting the grey one and upgrading it to (and possibly beyond) the gold version because I prefer the space grey color

hair dryer and some patience. the disassembly is VERY much like any ipad. That being said i might go ahead and grab the Intel SSD 600p Series 1.0TB for 300 bucks pre install windows 10 "halfway" removed at reboot point then installed into the matebook.

    Sorry for the long comment!!!
I was just wondering if there is there anyway you could tell
me what model number is on the usb-C port/sub-board??
I am attempting to replace my damaged charging port in my Huawei Matebook E - and I have looked everywhere online for replacement ports, and the part number without any success.
I have even called Huawei support lines hoping they could find the part number for me - Nope. I also asked how much it would cost to send it in for repair, (just because I really want to fix it/use it) and they said their repair service didn't repair the charging ports.. so.. it's on me, and if you could reply to this - I would so very much appreciate it!!
Thank you for a great video!

@@akhere4279 They said they do not sell individual parts like the charging port. They were unable to help me all the way up. Upon giving up, I eventually figured out the issue with mine was that the battery was toast and was preventing mine from even turning on. Maybe yours too?

@@laxntg thank you for reply and information.... My battery is not dead because it was charging sometimes when i wiggle the cable...it stopped charging now from few days even when i wiggle wire..... Infact it had 10% battery left today... So i m thinking battery is fine other wise it would have not switched on today... Isn't it

@@akhere4279 same here, I find I can get it to charge again by holding down power to force shutdown and then plugging it in. Also only works with lower volt charger I use 5v 3amp. Still have to fiddle with port but it consistently charges .
