If you have any appliances made by samsung do like i do take it out of the house and run over them with a track loader. It will save someone else from possibly buying this piece of shit that someone fixes and trys to resale.
wow he speaks to every possible point of failure. awesome....ive been trying to trouble shoot, thought it was the igniter not getting hot enough but think its probably the thermostat.....i hope to god its not anything else because $30 is parts is easy but gas regulator or motor replacement...you might as well replace the whole oven...
It’s highly doubtful that that control board has failed. If the convection fan motor doesn’t run that control board does not know that it isn’t running and it not running has no effect on that control board. Just like if the bake element was burned out, it wouldn’t affect the control board.😳
I had the same problem I pulled that little motor out of the back, pulled the front bearing off and the rear bearing off lubricated it cleaned it and lubricated it put it back together and it’s been a little more than two years and it’s fine still took about half 45 minutes half an hour to complete that repair😁😁😁
Great Job !!! What do you charge for Service Call there in Canada ? I am in Massachusetts in US and i would like to start with washers & Dryers to learn .i see repair companies reanger from $99-169 per flat rate call... take care
He didn’t even select the right function for the convection fan to run he put it on regular bake and proceeded to test the fan of course it’s not going to work if your not using the correct setting
JUNK appliances. Mine has been a POS since it was 3months old. Samsung makes great phones, just avoid anything they slap their name on that's not a phone or TV.

I disagree.... first ... I'd be checking if the fan is getting electricity. If it's not getting electricity...then... you have a bad board ... But to assume it's a bad board and bad motor is wrong. And if the fan was "seized" you wouldn't be turning it . Apply direct power to the fan see if it works... if it doesn't it's a bad fan. If it spinns... bad motherboard.

I'm sorry to tell you this but you are not a technician but rather a parts changer.Having been a technician for several years I VERY MUCH doubt that the board is defective. And even if it were defective it would only be the relay that would have to be changed and not the board. But in this case it is a case of a defective motor which, even, could be dismantled and cleaned which would put it back into operation. Or else change it which would remain affordable. I pity your customers, what a waste with impostors like you. By the way, nice haircut ;)

Sorry for late reply but We have different charges and rate that excludes outside of the city rate .

How you conclude the control board is defective
Because temperature sensor checked ok , I was not getting any power to bake element. Replaced control board last week tested ok . Service completed .

Walikum Salam . On Samsung ovens I have seen bake element is the problem %90 of the time . It’s hidden and you can work on it from the back .
