- Hey everyone! My name is Pamela Rogers and I am so excited to finally create a channel dedicated to all my green beret spouses! We are all familiar with the hardships of parenthood and marriage but in my channel I share my experiences of those hardships WHILE being married to an Army Green Beret. There is not much out there about what life is like back at home while these Special Operations soldiers are gone overseas or field training so hopefully I can shed some light on those struggles pre, during, and post military. Enjoy!

Thanks for this, I actually am going back into the military to going the special operations route so it's great to have a channel like this for my wife. You guys really do keep us going in ways we could never even imagine. I'm so glad to see some support from someone who's been there!

-What were the biggest things Buck did that helped you to accept his endeavor and be convinced of the potential long term benefits it could have on you and your children?
-Do you think he missed out on things with you and your children that you feel like he’d be hard pressed to ever make up for? Why or why not?
-What advice would you give a wife to help her accept or believe in the endeavor and what advice would you give a husband considering the SF to help him better understand and validate her concerns?
-Based on what you witnessed with your kids, when Buck was deployed, what were the best ways for him to still be a father? / What were things he did before deployments that provided you and your children with value that lasted beyond his physical presence?
