  • Here is full official coverage of the opening round of the British Supermoto 450 Elite Championship 2014.
The line-up for this season is significantly stronger than in 2013, with ex GP winner Matt Winstanley doing the series for DCR racing. Also Ben Robb is back, a multiple winner in previous seasons, alongside current champion Chris Hodgson, andd ever present challengers Davey Todd and Lewis Cornish.
Other outside bets for the title include James Addy, and Australian Champion McLeish.
There are at least 6 or 7 potential winners in the series this year, so we are in for an interesting and exciting year.
Pre season testing showed Winstanley to be very quick, whilst Chris Hodgson goes into the opening round having no testing whatsoever so will be up against it. However you can guarantee he will be as stylish as ever.
This video features all 3 races from the 450 Elite class, including brief qualifying highlights, with the Open Elite class coming in another programme next week.

Yes he is a man of many talents. That's what happens when you rush something to make a deadline. Next week you might see rider 24 changing machines mid race if I am not careful.
