I don't think people understand how to use the original plate. First, with regards to the level on the original ballhead, you level the head BEFORE you put on the camera. Second, with regards to the plate attachment, you mount the camera with the lens away from the attachment knob. That way the camera never blocks your access to the knob.

I agree about the ball-heads, the old and the new one (ball-heads) are just to tiny and therefore flimsy in the field, especially when it’s cold outside. Both are better with a traditional ballhead addon.

Hi buddy, awesome review! No one on youtube has a comparison with the sirui vs the ulanzi travel tripods. I am so confused on which one to get. I'm stuck between the ST-125 (with the ST-10x ball-head), or the ulanzi zero/f38. Since you have all 3, what's your opinion on which one's best?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks and take care

I'm finding out that the quick release is less flexible than the screw type. It's smaller and allows only one particular size plate to fit, whereas the screw type allows various sizes of plates to fit.

Best honest review. Its not the perfect tripod as the hype

I am not sure, if the new one is better, when you use it with Gloves.

Thanks for the video. Question: Does the F38 ball head work with the peak design plate?

Hi, great material! Is it possible to fit this tripod in original case with fluid head mounted?

No. I show it in the video, too. It's too long.

Will the f38 grab on the Arca Swiss bracket mounted on my xt4 body??

Hi, you think the 38 would be ok for A6700?

Yes, many of the APS-C cameras are perfect for this head/tripod combo. But if you're going to use telephoto lenses, like a 70-200mm f/2.8, this Ulanzi will be too small.

The F38 isn't Arca Swiss, it's slightly smaller. If you have an L-bracket on your camera, you'll need to attach an Arca Swiss clamp to the F38 plate.

There has to be a way to remove the head from the ball. It couldn't have been manufactured together like that

    • @VideoGizmology

that's what I thought, but it is. the ball mount and center column are one piece.

    • @AngelusHD
      @AngelusHD Год назад

No, you can remove the ballhead from the lower bigger part of the center column. This way you can lower the tripod even more without an upside down position.
