maybe the main reason why BTS always comes up with amazing concept, style and sound was because Big Hit allows them to be as hands on as Bang PD and the other in-house producers in making their music. BTS was allowed to bring in what they want, feel and thoughts about how they want their album to come out. Bang PD is a great mentor/producer/father to BTS. he let them be creative, more talented, professional and open to each other that led them to grow as awesome as they are now. BTs is the best! there's nothing like BTS!
When I first heard JK's part my first thought was, "will Jino like this or not?" :-) Yes, BTS outdid themselves again...the versatility they have is just AMAZING, from Boy with Love to Black Swan to ON to Ugh to...name any genre and Bangtan can do it and own it and make it fresh and just Bangtan style. I'm in awe and very proud of them!!! :-)

I always find myself holding my breath before you give your opinion on a song. I really respect your criticism on songs but I can’t help but feel like an overprotective parent when it comes to BTS maybe because I’ve seen their journey and growth as people and musicians throughout the years.
Yes, yes, yes...I'm a 'New Orleanian', and yes. New Orleans also has a great tradition with high school marching bands. The funk, snares and brass, so good together. This song will played next year in the Mardi Gras parades or earlier, I'm sure. I'm sure SU Human Jukebox band will pick it up.

I'm older, so I remember when auto-tune became a thing; I hated it. It seemed like cheating. Now, I understand it to be used as an affect, not a "correction". Sometimes I think they use it too strongly and especially Yoongi's and Tae's voices are too distorted.Thank you for your insight and for waiting for the 24 hour period to be over. appreciate your honesty!
I was also already working when auto tune became a thing. I'm not as stringent to say I hated it. Was it good? Not all of it. But that's what you get when you try to innovate. It was new technology that people were still trying to figure out. Some ideas worked and some didn't. I think it's not a good idea to dismiss something as a crutch for actual singing, because you can neg yourself into oblivion. There was a time when the guitar and drums and rock music was not considered actual music, too. And we're still living in a time where our boys are not considered real musicians. And for a group that always likes to experiment, it's good to keep that in mind. 😁💜
