Have utmost respect for Family Man senior! As a little youth I checked him at 56 Hope Road about producing me, and he was very humble and kind. The only reason why we didn't get to work together is because of his constant touring schedule. Rest in power with the ancestors Daddy Barrett! We all apprecia-love your invaluable contribution to 🇯🇲Reggae....now WORLD Reggae!

Que hermosa enstrevista. Me encanta el trato del entrvistador, sabe que alfrente tiene a alguien que posee todos los secretos de la banda de Bob y de los hermanos barret

According to the guitarists Al Anderson, Aston barret was the only Wailer that wouldn't visit Bob marley pn his death bed unless they would pay him smh. Bob marley was in tears about that. That was foul, but still R.I. P to him and bless up his son!

It has become cliché to ask entertainers with famous parents _"why they like their career"_ or why they are _"following the footsteps"_ of their forebears. After all, what are the odds that children of entertainers would walk in the shoes of their parents? It isn't rocket science that children are impressionable. When someone is _born into_ a lifestyle, it _conditions_ them for better or worse, and it becomes second nature. Children of entertainers don't necessarily have "elaborate" reasons for pursuing careers similar to their famous parents.🙂

As if the children of most entertainers followed in their parents' footsteps. What about all the time their parents weren't around? All the "perks" this nasty show-business brings with it? You think it's easy? Most of them are traumatized.
In a way, being a touring musician is one of the most family-unfriendly jobs around, if we're honest and real. Family Man? You know the G's story, even parts of it? That man is a sample! Interviewing any of his offspring, especially those involved in the music-industry? Priceless. The legacy they are blessed with - just like other prominent members of the Reggae royalty - is also a responsibility, make no mistake, a heritage: these people know weh dem a do, they were and are no mere entertainers. I couldn't care less about any entertainer or their kids - if we know them, they don't need us to care, nah mean. Wailers and their youths for example? JAH know, their works were and are WAY beyond mere entertainment, beyond the music itself. The message is in the music. Who feels it knows. Haile bless.

*Paying attention* to what was said and *what wasn't* could have spared you the red herring, _"As if the children of most entertainers followed in their parents' footsteps, blah, blah, blah."_ 🙂
