Hi Joe. Fun review as always. However, a couple of zonks from me on this one. First, you should drop the click bait titles. You didn't mention the A5 once in the entire review. Why ask a question that you had no intention of answering. Second, you have already reviewed the E53 AMG. Granted even it's not a full AMG, but that is the closest we have in NA. There was no compare/contrast with that model. My final point, I think that you should review cars in the context/market in which they compete. For this car, it is clearly meant to be a GT car. Compare it to other GT cars above and below its price range. You have driven several already while many of us have not. Your perspective would provide valuable input for those looking to purchase a vehicle in this category. I really appreciate the honesty and enthusiasm of your reviews. If you can just take that next step your content will be even better.
Great looking Mercedes Benz. I think the S class coupe has the best looking seats, but I do love the wood trim that goes cross the dash onto the doors.
Nice review of a nice car! However, you did not mention it is the only true "hardtop" available on the market nor show us the nice effect of all windows down, nor the wide opening sunroof panel! Those elements greatly add to the beauty of this vehicle.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it already but the A5 competes with the C Class not the E. The E Class is the competitor to the A6. The previous E class coupe could arguably compete with the A5 as it was built on the C Class chassis however not this one. Cheers.
Joe, Why dont you adjust the driver seat for you, and on the back seat analysis you seat right behind? That would great.. the eay you normally do, we do not have a precise idea of how much leg room you have on the back seat..... Please fix that if possible....
After all that hard braking during the test drive, at the recap at 19:25 the front rotor is still coated with rust. Hmm...did you drive through a deep puddle right before you parked it?

How can you see out the window? I agree keep the formula it works there are some fun quirks but serious enough to use your reviews to actually buy a car.
I drove one and as sleek and low as it is, it drove way too soft for my liking.. I thought it would handle better and be somewhat sporty to drive but it wasnt...... I also looked at a E53, and it was a bit more sporty and quicker off the line, but when you consider it was about the same as a new BMW M550i ... I think I like the 550 better..
2019 C43 AMG I own it. Best car I've ever had the pleasure of owning. Tuned by Renn Tech and Dyno comp with custom AMG flash MAP 405 awhp 470 llb ft 0 to 60 3.8 seconds Yes I have the AMG exhaust with OPF delete It's a monster for sure so C43 over the E450
Really depends on what you are looking for in a car. I test drove an e53 Amg, and although a beautiful, larger and smoother car than the c43, it felt huge and much slower on the road and I was ultimately bored driving it. The c43 had me smiling from ear to ear from the start as it’s more on the sports car end of the spectrum than the e53. The exhaust note is awesome and just felt more lighter and fun to drive. I didn’t test drive the E450, but I would imagine it would feel even slower and sluggish than the E53. Test driving them though is the only real way to see if it’s what you want 😃.
Trust me the C43 is the ultimate choice I traded in my 2018 BMW 340i M sport JB4 tuned ! The C43 is on a whole nother level especially when tuned you release the beast inside 👍💪🙏💯 And for the ones who don't know or question it... Call Mercedes up yourself and ask if the C43 AMG is a true AMG car ?? The answer well yes of course it is and it performs like it too

All you had to do to get that rust off was drive it a little... back it up with the brakes barely touching. Would have looked better for the review!

E450 Coupe is closer to 4.9 secs in 0-60. Mercedes only says 5 flat so it doesn't enter the 4-second mark like their E53 coupe at 4.3 seconds.
