I agree, he has skills just missed the luck you sometimes need. That said the truly great drivers somehow always seem to find that bit extra so being a LH teammate is always going to be hard. If he races his own race he will come good. MB just need large balls to keep him.
lil bread not sure what you mean? Merc have always played it fair between teammates with zeros favourites until it’s obvious one can’t win at which time the team pull for the overall result. I have never heard VB state he is disadvantaged in anyway. LH got the hump when they pulled his mechanics away from him which upset his balance, didn’t make sense then or now however both drivers have proven to be very quick, VB has just been a tad unlucky as has SV in the red car. These guys are top drivers with little to separate them. The younger drivers are great but you can see they need experience before they become consistent. Max (after 4 years) is now becoming more complete. Just goes to show how good Lewis was to almost win the championship as a rookie!

Please keep Bottas...he is clinical and consistent and has been performing superbly this season and I think it would be harsh to let him go. And I am sure y'all know that's he is better than Ocon
If I know Toto well enough, he will keep Bottas for 2020. There is no reason to switch to Ocon as it's an unknown instead of a great supporting act that they have in Bottas. The only thing that would happen is more points are taken off HAM or less points are scored and the second Merc is further down the standings, and then Mercedes aren't drivers or constructors champions. Makes no sense to change him now.
Quite an honor to be allowed to drive such an historic car. Trying to put down that much power without simply spinning the tires had to have taken a very special touch. We’re very fortunate that these machines run let alone still exist so hats off to Mercedes for allowing us to enjoy them! 👍🏻
Trying to put the power down without spinning the tyres is an impossibility in this car... In 1958, Tony Brooks and Peter Collins, both known Formula 1 drivers at the time, demonstrated a W125 and a W154 at Oulton Park. Brooks noticed a vibration while driving the W125, so, thinking that something's wrong, he pulled into the pits and reported it to the mechanics. He was then told that the vibration is actually caused by near-constant wheelspin under acceleration, and was sent out again! Peter Collins, on the other hand, had experience driving powerful GP cars, having driven the infamous BRM V16 in several occasions before. And when he drove the W125, he said that it is a lot easier to drive than the BRM, claiming that "it made the BRM look like an Austin Seven!"
I can't believe you don't have a longer video of this!? I'd pay actual money to watch more of Bottas in this epic car, please put more footage out there.
