Materials required- [1] PAPER
Here I used [20cm x 20cm ] common art paper.
You can use any thick & rough paper or pastel paper.
[2] COLOR
Here I used DOMS 50 shades oil pastel color.
You can use any branded good quality & current dated
oil pastel color
[3] black Glass marking pencil
[4] Cotton & cotton bud

I’m new to oil pastels. I tried this tutorial and admit it didn’t go as I hoped. Blending was not anywhere close. What paper do you use and could you recommend or do a video on your blending techniques? They looked easy to follow but mine did not blend. I used faber castell oil pastels and Hahnemuhle pastel paper

Shop pistol gets mixed very quickly but oil pastel does not get dissolved very quickly. Soft pastel gets mixed in the hand but oil pastel does not get mixed in the hand. This is the plus point of oil pastel
