You know on the SS3's you can exchange the lens... so you can put the spot lens you had on the sport onto the max light to see how that would stack up... Also, it would be interesting to see how the white/clear SS3 lens work on their yellow lights with the yellow chips.
I love seeing these videos with hands on testing of different lights. Thanks for doing this! I'd be curious how the vision x gen 1 25w light cannon and the cg2 40w would compare to these spot pods. I know they're a little bigger but they are in a similar power draw class. Not sure if you'd be willing to test them against the Morimoto and DD SS3 max in white or not but it would be great if you did.
I just installed these on my truck as ditch lights. They not only look good and almost invisible, but they’re very bright. Mine are pointing down and out and illuminate the side of the truck.
You said the SS3 Max have a wider beam pattern but the 4bannger is brighter ? How much wider are the SS3 Max? Real world driving video for fogs please.
Could you do a video on P15D bulbs? Seems like there is a huge gap in quality with these types of bulbs. Also a bunch of people with mini bikes have headlight bulbs that run on the crank coil itself and no battery. Is there a good option for those types of setups? There is very little info about this in the community
Have you tested all the fog lights to see which ones do the best in the rain? I have installed cheap fog lights to my truck. In dry conditions they actually do okay. In the rain, I could barely see the road. Another test would be to test the fog lights with someone parked facing you, with headlights on to see if it cuts through the glare of not only the slick glass/mirror shine of the rain, but also the reflection from the light facing you as well. I realize you do not always have rain but to test in the rain with that glass shine off the road would truly be a test of tests.
I wished Heretic Studios light pods were included in this comparison. Would you do a test video for the Heretic Quattros? There isn’t any real test or comparison videos on RUclips for them. CaliRaisedLED also.
Good video man, but a little bit confused on which on your said was the best for fog. I recall you saying there was two that were different but also good?
Like these Lights however can you answer me this. I want to use either the Morimotos or Diode Dyamics as fog lights. I have a ford f150 2016 XLT. Now you recommend keeping the new fog light install at -3 degrees to mimic the OEM fog light dispersion pattern. Have you encountered anyone who has a 4 inch lift on the their truck and how would they be aimed I do not blind anyone and yet maintain the best light dispersion with the fog lights. Your help would be appreciated. Great videos by the way. I currently have Morimoto Gen 2 XB's and love them.
When you have this big of a lift they would definitely have to be aimed a bit further down, I would test with a vehicle in front of the truck and just aim them in a way that isn't obnoxious to the drivers that will be in front of you.
@@HeadlightRevolution Thanks, These are quite pricey to buy and then figure out they are not adjustable enough once they have been installed. Thanks for the info.
Would the amber premium 4banger be the choice for a fog light in a 2015 GMC 3500HD. Want replace my oem ones. Is there a application kit for my pickup?

Hi I just received my 4banger ditch lights but I have a question. I want to replace the Morimoto switch with an aftermarket ohm style switch but I'm sick with the wire matching, does anyone have any advice they can give me please?
The red and black wires are power and ground. The two blue wires are signal for the relay and power for the backlight on the switch. The two blue wires piggy back off each other so you can run either one to the backlight feature on the OEM style switch and be good to go!
Definitely didn't compare apples to apples with the RIGID light. That was a Drive optic that has a wider beam. This light should have been compared to RIGID's traditional Flood or Spot. Which would have produce much more power. Need options for different needs. One light doesn't get it all done. Unless its Adaptive and can change its beam pattern. Nice video though, just not accurate comparison.
