I bought my one new. Same model, same year, same colour, and fitted with the paniers. I love this bike, great cornering, great power and fantastic riding in the mountains near my city. Interestingly, letting the tyres down to 30 psi also means it behaves very well (60mph/100kmh) on gravel/ unsealed roads. Not planning to change anytime soon even taking in to account of my 65+ age

    I bought this exact bike.
    I love mine.
    It's a Ninja1000 tuned down ,lower compression , a real rocket.
It's about 120H.P. and something like 80Ft.Lbs. of torque.
With the 6 speed gearbox , it's top end speed is around 145MPH.
This bike has a bit higher road clearance , but loves to lean in low on the tight turns.
At around 550 LBS. in weight ,it is a very nimble bike.
Doesn't really matter how fast you are going , it WILL lift that front tire up at most any speed if you are not careful.
    A fun ride.
I've ridden mine all day and that seat makes the difference , not sore at all.

Its 550lbs wet so its not too bad. When you are at a stop or walking it around, you can feel the weight. But as soon as you get going it all disappears. I think the seat height is around 33in. Its tall but manageable(Can flatfoot both feet), I have a ~34in inseam. Shorter riders might have some difficulties, but its easily balanced. I also have a Holeshot Corbin seat on it. My wife and I attempted a tour and had to turn back because of hurricane Florence, got almost 900miles on that trip. Was super comfortable and easy to ride.

It is VERY nimble and loves to corner and pull that front wheel up regardless of what gear you are in.
Go easy on the throttle though and loves to run high speeds.
It has plenty of power for it.
If you go easy on the throttle it will get around 50 MPG .
NOw: wear some gloves , wear a high visibility vest or jacket when you ride.
This is a #550 mid sized bike , people won't see you blasting down the road , believe me.

You can Believe that it is plenty fast, easy to wheelies, and plenty fun to ride..It has the most comfortable stock seat of any motorcycle in it's class. You could ride 2up across country, with the same comfort and ease as riding on 1000, (except that the 650 is 100 lbs. Lighter than the 1000.
The Stock Windscreens on all Verseys Motorcycles are too small for functional comfort, and should be upgraded.
The Stock Exhaust on a Versys 650 really sucks, too !

There is a God and he does care for you and everyone else. Just take a look at creation. It takes more faith to believe there is no God than to believe there is one. Ask God into your life for yourself and talk to to Him daily. I promise you from experience you won't be disappointed:)

Gear indicator on dash should be a given. My FJR has one as standard. My little Ninja 300 got an aftermarket gear indicator put on it, what a difference. The aftermarket gear indicator actually can be configured to show other information like temperature and voltage, so why aren't other things like engine temperature not shown also if the motorcycle monitors those things anyway. Ninja 300 has space on dashboard for an "eco" display, which is totally meaningless.

"As Americans we know that more is always better." Yep, more STD's, better. More debt, better. More health issues, better. More arguments with your spouse, better. More speeding tickets, better. More frustration in your life, better. More expensive gas, better. More.... Well, maybe in some things more is NOT better, agreed? LOL

Do you actually know anything about the bike? Maybe do some research and you can determine more than just if it does a wheelie.

unless thats your personal bike you need your ass kicked for riding it the way you were, just what us prospective buyers want is a bike that some tool has went out & wheelied the crap out of. with that said the V1K’s are excellent long range missles that actually handle very well once you reach the fun stuff. Downside of the V1K is the front end likes to weave at highway speed when getting into turbulence, such as passing semi’s or a bad cross wind, kawi does need to install a steering stabilizer on future V1K’s, mine is sure getting one.

No problem with mine with weave at all in any situation

With the clickbait title, one would assume we would be getting pros and cons, and comparisons to other bikes in the class. What we get, is a guy who was utterly clueless about how the bike functions what the controls do, but likes to use the word crazy a lot.
