yea so ive been wanting to make a better field for a while now cuz the last one is kinda cheeks ngl. u dont gotta go through the effort of making the lines like that if u dont wanna; i just did cuz i wanted more realistic lines

Im pretty sure you have to weight paint the net too, but im not sure thats just how i do it
Weight paint or vertex groups they kinda do the same thing and vertex groups was easier so 🤷♂️ but idk I could be wrong

@@ritzcracker4165 well I'm kinda new to blender and I'm making a soccer game so is it fine if you could go slower to show us how to design the nets and make them move, or possibly also show how they move when it gets touched by a ball or something, please make one if possible :)
@LEO-lk1gy well tbh I didn't rlly want to script them cuz I just wanted to get the video out 💀 but I imagine that in order to make it move at least in the way that I made it, you would have to put a bunch of invisible parts around the net so that when the ball touches that part it plays an animation and the net moves in that specific location
@LEO-lk1gy the net design don't rlly matter tbh cuz u can make it just a flat box or what i did in this video and made it droopy-looking. But if ur new to blender I recommend just staying away from this stuff for now cuz u gotta know a bit about rigging and weight painting/vertex groups and uv unwrapping/texturing so I recommend looking into those first so u can get an idea of what ur doing

What blender version do you use even? When I tried to make the bones all I could is an armature, and I kept copy pasting until I had several armatures, I parented them to one armature and made the mesh parent, though I'm unable to make the vertex groups.
@edielm9014 currently I'm using 4.0.1 and when making the bones, do shift+a so the add menu shows up, then go armature -> single bone which will add a single bone. Then just press tab to go into edit mode and press shift+d to duplicate the bones. To actually pair the armature to the mesh, add a armature modifier to the mesh and select your armature. Then make the armature the parent of the mesh by right clicking so the object menu shows up and do parent -> with automatic weights so the armature can influence the mesh. I'm not sure about being unable to make vertex groups, but remember that vertex groups can only be made on the mesh so it has to be selected instead of the armature. When you parent with automatic weights, it should automatically make new vertex groups in the mesh which you can then edit manually. I'm kinda dumb tho so I could be wrong 💀 but if you have a older blender version it should all still work out unless it's REALLY outdated in that case tey searching up some videos specific to your version on creating bones to rig meshes 👍👍
But yea I shoulda put the keys thing in screen so u guys could've seen what I was pressing 💀 but yea in the video I just had one armature and the only thing I duplicated was the bones in edit mode

@anotherpolosh i showed how to animate it at 14:49 just make a few animations with the net moving in different spots then place some trigger boxes around so that when the ball hits those areas the correct animation can play
It's rlly basic yea but it should at least make it a bit believable 🤷♂️

Wow, good pitch, i have 2 questions, i like the goal net, i tried to do other one u can do a model on that one? And the 2nd question its more a suggestion, u can do the pitch going materials in the tool box and u select the artificial grass material. am doing a game called kings league user A12RonroUniverse_YT
