Lara Adrian's series gets better as it progresses. I thought the first 2 books were ok, but after those two the series really improved. :)

Infernal was the only one I didn't get to! I started Heartsong yesterday and I think it's my favorite in the series so far 😍
I've mostly been reading Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Middle grade and Nonfiction this year though not a lot of romance which is surprising for me. Hoping to balance things out with more romance reading soon. Hades and Persephone trope is one of my favorites. I will read most sub genres of romance books though don't usually turn towards romantic suspense. I also tend to usually read Scottish, Irish, English, Shifter, Paranormal or RomCom, (I think that's a sub genre) and also Mysteries that have some romance in them. I would like to read Janet Chapman's- Highlander series, Grace Burrowes'- Rags To Riches series, Julia Quinn's- Bridgertons, In A Holidaze by Christina Lauren, Jenny Holiday's books, P.C. Cast's romance books, Nora Roberts' books, Susanna Kearsley's books (I've read most of them so want to read the rest and maybe reread a few), Nicholas Sparks' books that I've missed, and so many others especially the newish books because I just can't keep up with all of recent releases.
I'm currently reading A Touch of Darkness/Ruin, it's also a retelling of Hades & Persephone. Have you read them? I want your opinion on which was the best!

I've read Rachel Van Dyken's Elite series(NA Contemporary), and it's good. Never tried her paranormal before though. I also only found Larissa Ione's stuff to be fine too. In my opinion it doesn't get better. I found it to be pretty consistently 2.5 to 3 star reads. I love a Hades and Persephone retelling so that sounds a bit disappointing. I'm not a big lover of rom coms either so it doesn't sound like it's for me. Infernal sounds good. Thanks for the recommendations.
Arg I'm in such a reading slump at the moment. I have just not been in the mood. So many of you books that you recommend, I always want to read! I just feel so lazy and so behind 😃
I love Chastely Bitten. 😆 It’s ok though, you see a lot more of them in the other books.
I'd recommend giving book 2 of the Demonica series a try, I thought it was better than book 1, it's an enemies to lovers, forced proximity, second chance romance. I'm going to read book 3 this week :)

The demonic series is so epic! Similar to bdb book one isn’t the best. They get better and better with each book. You won’t regret it. Read them all.

I just finished slave to sensation and angel's blood by nalini Singh. Both have issues, but both have something I like. Not sure if I will continue the series in either of them. Are all your dogs beagles?
They’re both beagle mixes! They’re from a shelter, so we aren’t sure what bread they are for sure!
