    Yes, the LG moves the drum in periodic clockwise and counter clockwise motions during the drying mode.

      OK, good to know, thanks for confirming it.

    Hi love your videos! Question ... when the laundry is dry does it still smell of the products you have used or does everything smell kind of hot and baked like how previous non heat pump units did?

    • @vaiotuber
      @vaiotuber  2 месяца назад

      Thank you! Clothes come out fresh and clean, depending on the detergent and laundry boosters you used.

      @vaiotuber ok as long as you can still smell the product. With any previous combo the scent just gets burned away :(

      Yea, over drying will do it sometimes

    Can you just use cold water for this machine? As in connecting both the cold and hot water inlet with cold water only

    • @vaiotuber
      @vaiotuber  Месяц назад +1

      Theoretically yes, however you will need to remember to always adjust your washing to Cold water only. Some cycles do not allow you to change the water temperature though.

      @@vaiotuber I see but even with cold water only, wouldn't the Samsung machine have a build in heater which heats up to a specific temperature?

    Which control interface do like more Samsung or LG?

    • @vaiotuber
      @vaiotuber  9 месяцев назад

      Good question. Both interfaces have its pluses and minuses. I think it is easier with Samsung to choose cycles and modify settings on the 7" screen, however some people would prefer a Dial to change cycles like in older gen washers. I don't mind either.

    Do you notice if you put it on time dry that the condenser dumps water into the empty drum? There is not true time dry because your clothes are wet for 30-40 minutes, you can’t turn on the dryer for 10 minutes and then hang clothes. Have you noticed this too?

    • @vaiotuber
      @vaiotuber  6 месяцев назад +1

      Frankly, I have not noticed that at all. I have used Times Dry function a few times. I'll try again and see if I notice anything you described, sounds like something is not right.

    With the reputation of not beeing very solid with other products, would you trust this one more than lg?
    Dont want to put you on the spot, i am looking to buy all all in one.

      At this point I would say yes, it has been a good performer. I watched a Korean review/comparison of the Samsung Bespoke AI Washer Combo and the LG Combo, and he also sided with Samsung as his choice number one. The reviewer does a very extensive testing, comparing temps, drying times, whether the clothing shrinks or not, lint accumulation, etc. Also watch for Ben's review of this machine which will be released soon as well (search for his channel Ben's appliances and junk, something like that).

    Have you noticed any lint on the coils yet or is the filter and the internal cleaning doing a great job?

    • @vaiotuber
      @vaiotuber  9 месяцев назад +1

      So far I have not noticed any lint, the internal coil washing is done every time and they are staying clean!
