I'm not a Nebraska fan but I actually love the new setter, gives them a bit more height at the net but she needs to have some one on one time with at least her major hitters so it's second hand nature where to put the ball but also it's their first match it always looks this rough
would have loved a Highlight that gave an explanation to the horrible offensive performance by Nebraska...was it timing, unable to use the block, poor passing, etc?
I watched the full game and the setting was pretty awful. No consistency and always too low or too high or too wide. The hitters rarely could hit to their full ability. And even off of clean passes it wasn’t great. I hope it’s just Orr’s inexperience and will improve over time. Even John Cook talked about it in the press conference. They won’t go far in conference if it doesn’t improve soon.
New setter. Kennedi Orr is a sophomore but last year she got injured and I don’t think she has had often to work with them. She’s not adjusted to the hitters and the hitters before have had a setter who could honestly start anywhere she went and had amazing talent so they also aren’t used to a less experienced setter
@@brynnascarbrough1081 I believe Annie should be the starting setter. The game she set, i believe it was the previous to this one, was full of perfect and beautiful sets. Yes, Orr is taller and can block, but running the offense should be the priority and nebraska has the best defense in the country anyway so they shouldn't be in trouble with a shorter blocker
I still don’t understand why Neb. is ranked number one? Why…. they weren’t even last years Nat Champs. Shouldn’t the top team last year also be #1? No hate just want a discussion 🙃
I think Nebraska is number1 because they have almost the same team as last year. They have amazing hitters, blockers and the best defense in the country. Wisconsin was not put in number 1 because they lost a lot of key players i believe.

I don’t think Nebraska will stay number one for a long time. They will surely drop in the next few weeks.
I think Texas and Louisville should be the top 2.
