The town of Dronfield is ideally situated between Sheffield and Chesterfield with great access to the Peak District on it's doorstep.
Dronfield has everything for families, couples, elderly and the young alike. With great schools and play areas, many sports facilities, supermarkets, coffee shops, delicatessens, farm shops, dentists, vets, opticians, hairdressers, motor repair and sales, restaurants, takeaways and much more to offer it has become increasingly popular with new housing being built to accommodate the increase in population.

A lot of this was Dronfield Woodhouse- a giant housing estate that is ugly. The centre was poorly shown - why not show the Peel Monument? Its such a shame that Dronfield is now just the Sheffield overspill. Sheffield people move there and take over. So glad I moved to a small Derbyshire village with a community spirit - last time I went to my home town I couldn't park at the Civic Centre, nearly hit some kids as they ran into the road near Henry Fanshawe and could not wait to leave - such a shame. Grew up there but its not the same!
