Thank you for this good story.
I am so happy for a little girl Aurora 💗
And I'm thankful her father telling the truth and asking for forgiveness.
And stepping down from being a minister, is very hard but was much needed.
I'm not sure if this is a true story but I know that this could happen in real life.
    God Bless you all 🙏

I like the story. I like part if the ending, I even like the lessons learned.
I was just sadden that he felt he could no longer be a preacher.
In the bible we are taught forgiveness not just of God but of us to each other. I even belief there should be consequences to one actions especially serious one. However, wouldn't the community and congregation be better served by learn what repentance is. That even gaining forgiveness from God is more than just asking for it. That atonement means a renewed commitment to following God's commandment. To actively seek to not make the same mistake.
The importance of the phrase "The body is weak but the spirit is willing"
A phrase that has 2 means, one to the individual when it comes to dealing with their own weaknesses
And that we must comprehend that others will have moments of weakness and we should help them during those times as we should be able to get help and support from our community when dealing with our own weaknesses
That as one works towards redemption, we should also work towards forgiving them. For not one of us desires to have our past mistakes held over our head. As this story shows it was the fear of taking responsibility for one's sins that compounded the problem and hurt innocent people.
That this pastor's weaknesses would make him more sympathetic to his congregation's own weaknesses. Making it easier for those in a difficult circumstance to talk to him and in turn learn from his story as he speaks on the harm he caused as he sought to hide his by denying a little girl the life she deserved.
I would end this with one last thought. That when it comes to addicts those that work with them and have he greatest success rate at helping individuals rise above their addictions is prior addicts. These are the first people an addict will trust. these are people that don't just set an example to follow but fully comprehend where an addict is coming from. They know the lies and they know the truths they know the words an addict must hear.
Maybe it is because I've lived life, 24 years in the Navy meeting people from countless backgrounds with countless personalities.

The tone of narration is monotone resulting in boredom. Also, the story is too fantastical, especially the 5-year old. The accompanying still-video was too contrived to fit the "Mr. Lincoln" image; and echoed Thomas Jefferson's tale...as evidenced in the little girl ethnicity. I felt no connection to the characters in the story. Moreover, the narrator's oratory skills were very poor and lacked sympathy or empathy for the people in the story.
