Oh my gosh. This was exactly how I heard this piece many decades ago when I was a teen. I have never heard anyone make these interpretations! I had really thought (as an adult) that I was just way too "emo," or as kids say these days "extra," but the character was the same, same tempo, everything. And of course I didn't have the skill or capacity (or the will or the meticulous behaviors), but this was what was going on inside my head as I stumbled around the keyboard. So thankful.

You're welcome ^^. No he didn't, unfortunately, probably because Chopin's Waltzes and Nocturnes are considered separate pieces even if they're of the same opus, unlike the Mazurkas.
